mudstone is very much a rich man's building material imo. It has a really nice, specific texture where it's less uniform than other bricks, and I really like that
And they combine nicely with crimstone bricks, which are also very pretty.

Biome Keys only work after Plantera has been defeated, as of.. 1.3 or 1.4 iirc.

- If you don't have boots and have less than 20 life, go explore underground.
- If you meet those requirements you can fight the first boss, it will come after you when you're ready. create a long platform to fight the boss in, it will help you avoid the dashes

Also, yeah, twins aren't too bad. Couple ways you can go about it, most players I've found tend to prefer the "run away from everything" approach, since twins can't reliably catch up.
Also good to note that the projectiles they both spawn are blocked by tiles, so you can go behind anything with collision and they can't hurt you

I think it fits it just fine, and it does indirectly buff Adamantite armor as well. Titanium still gets the Barrier which is useful for melee users and stopping enemies that are about to reach you.

Huge AoE, and the reach far exceeds really what it should. Don't get me wrong, it's a step up from 1.2 true excal attack, but this is still very much ranged

Barring Terra Blade. I don't actually think it being reworked this way was bad, it was always a beam sword after all, and this only channels this aspect further. It's a really fun weapon to use, but definitely does betray its roots quite a bit.

there are many stages to true melee:
- Only Non-Projectile Broadswords (Volcano, Purple Clubberfish, Fetid, Psycho)
- and Swords that are a projectile that acts like a True Melee hit (Starlight, Gladius, Umbrellas)
- and Swords that spawn projectiles on a true melee hit (Horsemans, Bladetongue)
- and Swords that use projectiles to increase their size (Excaliburs, Night's Edge)
- and Spears that don't shoot projectiles
- everything else (not true melee)
3rd and 4th may switch positions but like someone said earlier it depends how hardcore you plan on making it

Aqua scepter, though being an earlier weapon, very likely has a lower reach
So in one sense or another, even by whatever twisted definition of range you want to use, these massive AoE attacks can be considered ranged.
I'm not saying that they should be recategorised in damage, just that the area that they effect is stupid, and they're super unbalanced.
And, furthermore, they all exceed titanium shard range.

I had already beaten EoC by then, but theoretically, I could have gone down into the Dungeon from the start of the game and got it.
Jungle armor is also basically the best armor option from Mages right from the start, since Meteor is a niche alternative and the Wizard set is the only other real option, which can also be gotten early on.

You can't stop the Hardmode generation, but you can contain the evil biomes initially generated with the world and protect any valuable targets the new one might hit with lots and lots of Sunflowers.

They reduce the effect of evil biomes and graveyards around them. Enough of them can completely prevent evil grass from taking root, and keep towns active as a result.
As a result, you can also Hallow your towns instead, as the evil can't take root there either and NPCs can live in it.
Pylons also stay active in Hallowed biomes.

It's the principle, really; yes, it's the same effect and same sprite just recoloured, but if you've spent thousands of hours being used to it being one thing, it's mildly disheartening to have it swapped for another. Going to go out on a limb and say probably firecracker. Harvest probably used here to get more firecracker uses in, but you could just as easily use durrendal if you don't have harvest yet. Lose out on whip DPS though, so if you're building for whip damage, that's not what you want to be doing.

I find it's fairly intuitive once you take a bit of time to get used to it. Your movement keys serve as a pseudo-D-pad and are generally quite tactile, as is your jump key. The free aiming with the mouse is what makes combat, mining and building so fluid, however. It's extremely quick to aim at any point of the screen.

I suppose. For me, it was the inverse effect, since I started playing on PC and played a bit on console with my friend. Both of use died about 20 times each within the first few in-game days on Expert.
It definitely took some time to adjust the control scheme to my liking, and I'll still probably have to make some changes later on.
