the amount of corruption doesn't matter as long it's not near npcs

It's not really an issue unless you're going for full world purification. You can just as well put some Sunflowers to block grass spread, and ignore the underground spread until you get the Clentaminator after beating a Mechanical Boss. You can also put a couple dozen Sunflowers near your towns. Even if the evil biome hits them, the Sunflowers reduce the evil aura of the area enough to make it livable again. You can also Hallow your base and block evil spread, since NPCs can live there.

Most pre-Hardmode enemies spawn just fine in Hardmode. Some are rarer, but waiting around with Water Candles and Battle Potions for long enough should get them to spawn before long.

Depends. Blade Staff requires more support than Sanguine to perform as effectively, but if you optimize it, i.e. with multiple Whips and Ichor Flask, it can become truly devastating, more powerful than even the Sanguine Staff.

Just farm it, and make sure to hook, it doesn't spawn if you aren't moving and when you hook it thinks you are moving, or just search it up on Google or YouTube, that's usually what I do.

to stop the corruption you'l have to dig deep down to the core i think

Evil biomes and Hallow can infect blocks up to 3 tiles away, even if you have incorruptible blocks in front of them. As such, you need at least a 3 tile gap of either air or blocks like Hay, Wood or Bricks.

Additionally, the edges of the tunnel should extend about 6-8 tiles above the ground, or have ropes that high since thorns can grow and extend the spread range.

you can also sell any bars that are obsolete

like demonite/crimtaine bars are kinda useless once you enter hm

The spears are cool weapons but they get outclassed really easily

The weapon you use depends on the class that you want to play

For melee use the nights edge and for range use helfire bow or the quad shotgun

There are a lot of weapons at the top of pre hm but those are the ones I would use

Was able to defeat the twins and destroyer last night after obtaining the sanguine staff
