-be me
-doing prep for hardmode
-built a hellevator on both side of the crimson to contain it (also stops it from spreading to neighbouring tundra)
-farmed the trinkets I wanted
-goes to hell to fight Wall of Flesh, kills it
-get back to surface to check the situation.
-heading west past the crimson
-sees hallow immediately after crimson
-realization that the hallow spawned into the left hellevator, making it essentially redundant with inevitable spread into tundra.
-back to base and head east
-10 seconds of heading east, sees crimson
-well frick

Pygmy Staff is one of the worst summons in the game, 100% desert tiger staff.

But honestly it's not worth getting

Just get Raven Staff for golem and then Xeno Staff carries you until either Daytime Empress or until Stardust Pillar.

Hello I have an issue and the peeps down in #terraria-help would rather discuss which flying mount to use so I am gonna ask yall: I have run into an issue when putting some of my worlds into the steam Cloud. I am waiting for my last Parts to build my new PC and wanted to get my files and such ready to move and a bit cleaned out, so I decided to upload all my Worlds and Characters into the steam-cloud via the ingame menu (that little move to cloud thingy). Some of my worlds are now in the cloud but it didn't uploaded the corresponding Backups (the .wld.bak and .wld.bak2). I still have the backupfiles but I cant use the worlds since the cloud is missing the Backups

There is enough Space in my Steamcloud for all the worlds and some worlds got somewhat repaired by pulling them out and into the cloud again

they are also displayed without name in the world selection screen

It's probably better to copy the world files into another drive or usb stick to transport

First things first.

Chop down trees, make armor, a wooden sword (try to make as many swords to get the godly modifier)

And then make a couple houses.

After that, explore the surface.

Find rope and kill slimes.

Break pots and basically just explore.

Anyways, after you're done, go back to your house.

Put rope down the entrance of the mine, then descend.

Find cobwebs, break 'em.

Find ore too.

Then, come back when you feel you've gotten enough stuff (make sure to get cobwebs)

Then, make a yoyo.

Congrats! Your first good weapon!

After that, you'll be good to go.

Just do whatever.

Oh also.

Get the blade of grass.

Just get spores and vines.

Then, go to a demon/crimson altar (idk don't really remember) and make the blade of grass.

If that doesn't work go to an anvil/workbench, i suggest doing this first then going to a demon/crimson altar if this doesn't work.

Then, go make yourself some armor.

Iron is good enough.

Get some hermes/sailfish/dunerinder/flurry boots.

Two is enough for you and your friend.

Get 6 lens from demon eyes.

After that, go to a demon/crimson altar and make the suspiciosu looking eye.

Then, make two long platforms.

(At your base)

Buff up and summon the eye of cthulhu, kill it and then get the shield of cthulhu.

Then, head to your world evil boss and kill it or at least kill parts of it.

Parts of the eater of worlds for corruption and creepers for the crimson.

After you're done, make the death bringer pickaxe/nightmare pickaxe.

Go down to the underworld (with some obsidian skin potions) and mine some hellstone, make sure to pick up a hellforge while you're down there.

Then, mine some obsidian and make hellstone bars at the hellforge.

Make hellstone armor and weapons.

You know the rest.
