so i went to make an early surface mushroom house just for the truffle

and realised

then i went on just replacing all the dirt block's with mud and A TOWN SLIME flew to me

that is the first time i realised these slime's exist

some tips for the event I can give:
-every aura buff you can find (heart lantern, etc)
-a platform 9-10 tiles off the ground extending across the arena
-by hammering some of them one time each (to make ~5 wide section of wonky stairs) you can place event sentries on it and they will stack up on the ground
-every stationary-type weapon including (if you can): clinger staff, nimbus rod, and spider queen staff. Plus the Rainbow gun/frost hydra staff if you can get those
-a set of summoner armour; this will greatly boost your defenses damage output

-if you are stuck and can't beat the event tier, try hoarding green mana between attempts in a chest, this will help you build up a stockpile that you can expend to get to the last wave and loot some extra medals
make sure you have the strongest version of whatever defense turret you decide to use (rod < cane < staff)

10 minutes is how long a grappling hook will stay attatched before automatically disappearing
1 minute is the maximum projectile lifespan for things like weapons

as for the enemies i'd use water walking boots/potion and just let them go to the bottom of the ocean

Speed stacking is when you use your main whip and then switch to a whip (Dark Harvest, Durendal & Snapthorn) to inflict a buff that increases whip speed. So you switch to the ''speed whip'' every 2-3 seconds to refresh the buff.

Tag stacking is when you combine the tag damage from a lot of whips to deal massive amounts of damage, Blade Staff benefits highly from this since it has a low base damage so it's damage gets quadrupled from those 4 whips (Cool Whip, Durendal, Spinal Tap & Snapthorn).
