but that's a good general rule, create vertical and horizontal shafts using dynamite/scarab bombs or mine it out manually, around the corruption/crimson pre-hardmode (right before wall of flesh usually) and then after hardmode find the hallow and create a moat around it like you did for the others. there are a lot of block types it can't cross, however, if you're willing to spend the time to learn about it
