to use the cave pylon, you have to have another pylon with 2 npcs, like the forest pylon needs to have two other near it aswell, and me and my friend once used the golfer guide and zoologist. and got a forest pylon

Mushroom: Truffle, Hairdresser, dye trader
Desert: arms dealer, Nurse and steam punker
(these are for pylons, also bare in mind there are more possiblitys just the ones i collected that worked.)
