you now have a total of 35% inc dmg and 37% crit chance (assuming 4% base)

All I’m saying is the extra defense helps not having the dodge. And also remember. Your healing and regen. So you might hold onto a holy dodge for 17 seconds then use it. But one of your other accessories could of procced. And even if you got hit you take less damage and still can dodge

So on paper holy dodge is huge but with the master ninja gear and extra defense and not being hit sometimes it’s not as practical

The nature of terraria fights makes it so your not getting a dodge every 30 seconds. And avoiding 200 damage every 30 seconds. It might be avoiding 200 damage twice or 3 times a fight. Which isn’t a huge deal since you have potions and regen. And also taking less damage with shroomite

That’s why shroomite is better for average or skillful players. But if you find yourself getting hit more than like 10 times a fight hallowed could be better

for example, in order to half the time it takes to kill something, you need to double your dps
in our debate above, the 10% difference in shroomite means that shroomite will only save 9% time to kill (so if hallowed takes 100 seconds to kill, shroomite will tak 91 seconds)
you can use the formula 1/(1+x) (where x = your percent increase in damage; for example 25% increased dps equals: 1/(1+.25) = 1/(1.25) = 80%)

I use silk for lots of things though, a stack of cobwebs doesnt last long at all, the most important part is its a lot harder to get a good supply of silk at a moments notice than it is to get hundreds of hallowed bars, especially post plantera
