Honestly, when I played expert mode I had a lot of trouble with destroyer. By complete contrast, I fought skeletron prime in that same world without an arena and still won first try

Maybe it's just the lasers are generally harder to dodge and there's so many that a damage increase on expert mode makes it much harder

I normally see destroyer being portrayed as the easiest of the three. My main thing was they said it was "by far" the hardest. The destroyer hits hard and is very hard to dodge but the probes usually drop hearts that greatly help. But then again I'm referring to normal. I'm not sure about expert
