also there is shadow armor which is really good for early game as the melee speed will affect whips

But then you'll have to trade brain of confusion with scarf....

Scarf sucks when you're not melee

And also you wont get flesh knuckles to make the berserkers glove but its not really much of a problem since berserkers glove is like 1 hit less from a fucking slime

Also you get wrath potion in corruption which is godsend for summoners(yes you can get ebonkoi in a crimson world by making an artificial biome but....ew too much work)

And since rage potions dont really benefit summoners like AT ALL then yeh corruption
