If you set up your account and the network correctly then you still have internet and are still shown as being where you are...but it doesnt change anything about gameplay or functionality of other apps

#

A vpn is specific to hiding you being you in case you dont wanna be known, this is just connecting you in a virtual 'network' as if you were in the same house on the same wifi

Here is a list of servers...each will provide you with an address in the form of xxx.xxx (one example is terraria.one) and some with xxx.xxx.xxx and they will also provide a number (example 7777) for what 'port' to join thru (technical mumbo jumbo blah blah)...take those 2 pieces of info and go to your mobile and press join and type them in...

From the main menu, click 'Multiplayer' and then choose your character and then click 'Play'...on the next screen where it shows on the bottom 'local/online' change it to 'online' and then click on the right where it says 'Add' and in the last screen type in the corresponding info for whichever server you are trying to join...

Now, when you actually want to utilize the network you created (to play with other people using your own worlds rather than a server) all you do is open the app and connect to the network (also click on network and click 'route thru zerotier'...and then you just share your network id with others and authorize them too and then you start the world you want to host and the others join as if they were standing next to you

i used the shiled of cuthulu to bash into his head and since 1.4 buffed the shiled and gives u i frams after dashing into somthing i use that tactic
