I didn’t actually mind the clutter. It’s the absence of fringe-case keybinds that gets me. Stuff like dash button and activate set bonus button. Also adding a button to stop movement from affecting smart cursor (so I can actually use sniper rifle with smart cursor).

Use cobalt/obsidian shield, his frost wave attacks cycle between three moves and is easily predictable, the first 2 are one sided, aimed at you, to avoid these, wait for him to aim at you and while he telegraphs the attack, simply walk past him (his lower body doesn't have a hitbox).
The third one hits both sides, so you should use a wing or jump accessory to get higher

This approach wrecks him in master mode
