Well a good tip is when fighting a boss have a arena Set up for it and have Star statues set up on the arena because those can dispense stars that slightly replenish your mana

Star in a bottle, star statue (if you can find it), mana regen potion, natural regen. Use mana potions as a last resort, and mana flower is generally fine because of the mana use reduction and mana potions as an emergency mana supply. Mana flower works well only if the mana cost of the weapon is veryyyy low. Drinking mana potions gives a debuff that temporarily lowers your damage and if it stacks you’ll really be losing damage
