Pixel art with in-game view is a whole different medium from map view since you can actually use non deep colours. Deep paint colours show up on the map for both regular paint & deep paint on the map

But then it becomes all about texture & sometimes the darkness of some blocks (including with actuation)

So I just find map view a bit simpler in cases like this

Plus a variety of shades aren't as easy to get in-game as they are on the map, like a lot of the shades I had used for my pixel art of Redigit's set

i'm more of a terrain builder over anything so ty for this too, i don't really build "housing" much & rather this is just me slightly repurposing an old build of mine to fit the event more since they were already tower like housing designs

yes! negative paint on ice is a fantastic one

something i fell in love with using ever since like, 2019 i believe is when i first used them

i don't do underworld builds much but whenever i do, i usually include some

so many blocks can be fantastic with negative paint so i always recommend people experiment with it

I be a terraformer/nature builder myself so the question now is if ill be done with that part and move to the actual point of this entry lol

i spend a long time on terraforming before doing anything else in a build typically & go a little overboard on the fine tuning sometimes so i can relate there

my best terraforming is usually my underground work

surface terraforming i'm not as good at due to not really doing as much nature wise like with trees & such

i'll eventually get better at trees though, my best friend nags me to do so every once in a while :d

This is because your game is set to high graphics
The water distortion is active this way
It is not visible to mine because i set it to medium
The low removes the water falling

Actually, it would be from heat distortion as a setting

If there is a lot of sand nearby

as inside the sub itsaelf is all wavy not outside of it only

which would be from the heat distortion setting which i always recommend turning off

@tame dune for your info to as to what the cause was
