It’s simple. You just put stuff you wanna dupe in a chest then leave the world. Reenter the world and loot everything from the chest. Then leave the game again BUT only let the first saving progress go to 100% then when the second one appears, press the home button and close the game

You drop one of an item that is stackable and had at least more than one ( like press the back left button) then with your finger drag the item you want to dupe to an empty slot, then drop that item you just moved(so the game recognizes it exists) then pick it back up and make sure you stack it or swap it with the same exact item you duped

This dupe is only exclusive on switch because of the touch screen and button ability
