Well, it was cool while it lasted. The Calamity devs finally fixed the glow masks for these blocks drawing through echo coating. If only I knew what caused it to happen in the first place, I'd make a mod to revert it and add more blocks that do it intentionally because it looks cool

biggest thing is just practicing, you won’t be amazing when you start out.
having a solid idea for what you want is another big thing that’ll help push your builds. instead of just an overall like “jungle build” you should try to have something like “jungle ruins”.
this kinda depends on the person but i need references when building something, even if it’s like an irl picture.

my only personal gripe is that specific head shape used by worm-like modded bosses is a bit overdone for me, something more unique would be a nice taste. For what you're texturing RN, the sandstone clashes with it too much, mix either several lighter colors like the sandstone or several medium colors like the stalactite/craggy
