i would try to add in some living mahog wood and leafs into it maybe.

Just so I know, is there a correlation between a block state between different positions in a build? Seems like it's true. Say, a block has states A, B and C in the middle of a vertical line. It will retain those states if it's on the bottom edge of a vertical line.

Yeah some pieces also have issues with dyes which can make them less usable than others, it really just depends on what you are trying to recreate

A lot of the regular coloured dyes don't work fantastically on a lot of pieces, same for the bright, "and silver" & "and black" counterparts

The strange plant dyes are also a general mixed bag depending on what you want to accomplish, a lot of them are animated, others have a glimmer like effect

my best advice is try to go for stuff that the material would match, so you don't want wooden armor if it doesn't go with a metal helmet. Try to make sure that these things incorporate and theme with each other so your piece looks more put together and also use accessories to flesh it out

here is a few examples of accessory detailing, from right to left you can make a hoodie using quivers, making glowing eyes using the blind fold with fogbound dye (or any dye), can make custom masks with blind fold and obsidian skull with an open-faced helmet, can add detail via necklaces for more unique looking armor, jungle rose dye makes silly combos, and lastly stinger necklace + toolbelt/hivepack makes a nice backpack + bandolier
