Probably set up some vertical and horizontal beams, maybe some background windows. I really like random stone platforms and books, chalices, cups etc. You get to a point where you CANT find something to put in a room. Without some form of infinite common npcs (which would be really nice for the tax collector) there's virtually no reason to keep making beautiful rooms. Sometimes, the room is so big that you are denied vacancy.

i like it, i would personally try out ebonwood walls for the vertical beams. it’s basically the wood wall sprite but rotated 90°.

also, personal preference but i also like shadewood (wall and fence) and large bamboo for vertical beams. and rich mahogany, ash wood, boreal wood, and dynasty wood for horizontal beams.

and i also think rich mahogany can work for vertical beams too, am sleep deprived so i can’t remember it really

I don't know if you've ever played Skyrim, but Hearthfire always tripped me out because you can build a legitimate smelting forge in the basement without any proper ventilation.

anyone with better wiring knowledge help me with designing a new loader? this is what i have so far.
when you spawn in, the player sensor will activate the and gate in the middle. (with a tflipflop to deal with double activations) that will activate anything you want and the or gate on the bottom (used to ensure whatever is getting loaded wont get turned off when reentering the sensor at spawn)
the issue im having is turning it back off when relogging, the or gate stays turned on and i dont want that

search them up on the forums, also I do know some had tried making smaller ones without transmutation otherwise we have made one with transmutation which are incredibly compact on the TGD server, although you need a TEdit version that works with 1.4.5 to be able to import them
just go and ask in the #wiring and #transmutation channels

its pretty similar to one i made; you may want to add some wood to the background walls to make it make sense as to why the wood is there. you could also try using like grass walls, i find they look better as leafy walls than leaf walls. you could try to use just regular living wood walls or like any of these 3 painted brown.

come to think of it, corrupt mass could be good leafs if painted green as well

i def tried too hard on this one and it was made when i was just getting into building so it doesnt really look that good

to me, different wood types have different uses.
i use wood, boreal wood, rich mahogany, dynasty wood, ash wood, and spooky wood for horizontal.
i use ebonwood, shadewood, rich mahogany, palm wood, dynasty wood, bamboo, and large bamboo for vertical.
then, pearlwood, spooky wood, living wood, and the new office block is for texture.
other than that, i dont know why i use the wood i do

also taking in account thr texture in general can help. boreal wood seems like a dense wood to me so it like to use it in more stoney builds. palm wood seems a lot lighter (though i hardly ever use palm wood)

spooky wood and ash wood to me look very weathered so i tend to like using it in older builds where the wood would be weathered

I move the workshop upstairs in place of the bookshelf and I put the fireplace in its original position

Because wouldn't be weird to have a fireplace at the bedroom or upstairs?

I think it depends, if your build is stone then it's fine, but if it's wood i can understand why it's off putting a fireplace on the second floor

i think an issue with these is that they are 3 wide, which doesnt allow for too much furniture mostly

theres maybe a few potted trees that are 3 wide
