Guys... I have a theory!
You know how you have to beat golem to fight lunatic cultis, well what if that's because the cultis before they took over the dungeon he tried to take over the jungle temple. In the fight the cultis couldn't prevail, and golem ended up taking something from the cultis that made it so that he couldn't summon moon lord. So as a backup plan the cultis takes over the dungeon. Now after that, not being able to summon moon lord he decided to capture the mechanic to build the mech bosses in hopes to one day kill golem. BUT with the terrarian in the picture, plans have to be postponed. The terrarian kills golem. Which has made it possible for them to summon moon lord! So on so on.
