since this is metal i use more rough and hard pens, i first look at the dimension and shape of the thing im trying to shade, then i imagine a light source coming from a direction, everything else is just pure logic while following 3rd dimensional objects flow of shade

since dog's armour are like knifes i just see it like that

if theres a sharp turn, i give a very tiny bit of light to project that its spiking up

Ahh nice, Makes sense. Guns and mechanical object/weapons can have some super clean topology/wireframes. When you start to play around with curves/blades and more “organic” shapes, then the wireframe can start to become not as “clean” 😂 its not impossible, like if I had of put a bit more tlc into it, I would’ve had a much nicer product. But yeh, I can agree.

Based on my research, I think it just falls into the catergory of a regular test post. Here's the idea I came up with, and I don't know what to do with it: Fairy Staff, 33 Summon Damage, uses 10 mana, summons a fairy to fire sparkle projectiles at enemies. Behaves like hornet, imp, star cell, etc. Crafted with: 120 Pixie Dust, 15 Soul of Light, 3 Unicorn Horn, 1 Bell, 20 Gold Bar. What do people think? I'll post some art of it once I'm able to. Sorry for the long post.

Here's a good rule of thumb for modded weapon ideas (and modded content in general)

If something can work as a texture pack without any major compromises, it's not a good idea for a modded item.

And for crafting recipes, it's unnecessary to cram in anything relevant to the design of the item. Removing the gold bars and bell would massively streamline this, and it could be crafted at a crystal ball if you really need the wizard to be required.
