When I feel like I’m not being listened to, obviously I’m going to go the place where many moderators will see it- and hopefully deal with it.

What I have taken away from this exchange is that your map was more important than dealing with someone who was explicitly breaking the rules. Quite the disappointing performance from someone whom I am supposed to come to for help.

The issue here is that you could have also messaged a moderator privately (on discord, just as you did in-game) instead of calling someone out in the chat. Garrett said he saw your message. I have looked into it and it was handled, by a private moderator. Now, if you have nothing else to say, please move on. You are dragging this out, and as it was pointed out to you, this is not the place to submit reports.

Additionally, even Matza herself has said that moderators are players first and moderators second. If you have an issue, you can message her on the forums and voice your concern, but as this issue was handled I see no need for this discussion to continue further.

Have you seen the state of Café? It’s impressive if a topic surpasses even 50 comments. Yes, it used to be quite the hellscape for bad people overall but now only a few people use it to chat about mundane things.

Maybe, we’ve been told time and time again that the only time a moderator can do ANYTHING is when they have the living proof in front of them. They don’t take screenshots. They don’t take video evidence. The only reason WHY the topic stood up with those comments for so long was so that way Partyfool could do something.

I have moderated café. I understand the terrible things that happen there, and I do understand your frustration in it taking more time than you’d have liked. However, being sarcastic and rude in this chat will help no one. Café has always, and will always, have bad players. Not every moderator is going to be available the second you need them, and unfortunately that’s just the way it works.

In the future, try messaging someone on discord. Even if I am not online, if I receive a report I immediately let the team know so it can be handled.
