It was brought to our attention by Survivor users that this cannon was potentially problematic when fully recolored in black, because it's one of the few cannons without an arrow, and that made things unfair gameplay-wise for those with the means to buy it and recolor it.
I've edited it so the teeth are whiter even when fully recolored in black, to make things fairer for every Survivor player.

So, as you know, Flash will be ending soon on browsers, that's why we're pushing for the Steam version of the game 
But it also means that players that created their accounts on Kongregate, Armor Games, or with the Facebook/Google API, will no longer be able to play.
For this, we're going to roll a new pop-up in game, that will allow you to set up a password for your Kongregate/Armorgames/Facebook/Google account. This way, it will turn into an Atelier801 account, that you will be able to connect anywhere.
This is critical, so we need to see if everything goes well before launching the Winter Event (maybe tomorrow or on Tuesday), thanks for your understanding 🍌

We've been hard at work lately, with the end of Flash we have a lot to plan and prepare for, let me give you an update!
🔷 The migration of Kongregate/Armor Games/Facebook/Google accounts is going well, several thousands accounts got migrated already! We've been testing and monitoring this closely, as it is quite critical (these accounts won't be able to migrate on their own after January 12th)
🔷 Mac users are eagerly asking for a solution, as the current AIR standalone doesn't work anymore on Catalina and Big Sur, so Tig has been working hard on it for the past few days to build a new 64 bits version! We've pushed it on Steam but it doesn't work just yet 
He should be able to make it work with juuuust a bit more time!
(you who helped us on that, you know who you are, thank you so much again 👍 )
🔷 We've also been busy building new versions and new Steam pages for... **Bouboum **and Fortoresse!

🔷 WINTER EVENT IS LIVE! 🎉 Which means you can start gathering gifts on maps, collect relics, earn new rewards like a new badge, new orb and new title!
There's also a new transformation consumable (Simon the mouse elf) available in the seashell shop 🎄
🔷 The biggest twist of the update is this :
You can play and get gifts on any platform but you can ONLY OPEN THEM ON STEAM (or standalone).
We still have over 40% of our current userbase on browsers, and we really need to incentivize the client version as much as we can before the big Flash block on January 12th.
We know how much of an inconvenience this is, but it will be much worse later for the game if we do nothing now. 🙏
🔷 There's also (if I typed my commands right 😩 ) a new small LUA EVENT! Have some snowball fights thanks to Tortuegreen#0000!

Today is the big day: Flash Player completely disabled itself from all systems after midnight 😱
A few things to note:
🔷 The Steam Mac version (& probably Linux) is not working anymore, it depended on a version of Flash Player that disabled itself, we're on it and should issue a fix today or tomorrow
🔷 We will change the website of Transformice so people aren't presented with a blank square, it should roll out today if we manage to fix the Mac version first
🔷 If you have any weird bugs with the standalones, please post in #bugs-and-errors-old and include your system (Windows/Mac/Linux) and the standalone you're using (Steam or our own)
Staff will be monitoring this channel closely today, if you're a Mac user don't hesitate to post there as we issue fixes throughout the day

There are some questions about the new fur that was recently added: it's a cheese-only fur indeed!
We are starting a new line of cheese-only furs, based on the seasons. First one is Winter fur!
You **WILL **need to buy them in order, like the current elemental furs. New long-term objectives! 💪

Tig is planning to create a new room creation interface within the rooms list, that will allow you to customise the room as you like. You will be able to choose the game mode (normal / vanilla / racing etc.), whether the room is private or not and whether consumables will be enabled or not. 📝
He wants YOU to suggest what other options you'd like for this new interface, so share your ideas in #suggestions-old! The new interface is planned for this Thursday, so this is a flash suggestions session. Things can also be changed or added at a later point, however we'd like most of it to get done from the beginning.

Hello cuties! We looked a little bit into how contact forms are working and, following that, I wanted to point out a few things to help in the future:
Sanction appeals will not be answered. The only exception to this are the compromised account bans.
Write in English. Forms that are not written in English will not be replied to. We sometimes make exceptions for French (Meli speaks it, but doesn't deal with contact forms unless it's an exceptional situation), Polish (LionelleDi speaks Polish) or Romanian (I speak Romanian, but I don't normally deal with contact forms), but exceptions are rare.
Fill in the form properly. The number of empty contact forms that we receive is huge, and some don't even include their full nickname! We need as much information as possible so we can actually help you. There is a guide available for how to fill in the contact form here: https://atelier801.com/topic?f=5&t=786596. There are also a few translations available for this guide, do make sure to contact the staff of your community to ask where you can find them.
Most contact forms that we receive are about recovering account(s), so please remember to use a strong unique password and do not share your account with anyone else!
We're up to date! All contact forms received until yesterday that we could answer, have received a reply. If your form did not receive a reply, it's most likely that one of the things I mentioned above was not right, so make sure to read the guide and send a fresh one with as much information as you can.
If you have any suggestions for improving the guide, or things that should be included to help further, please let us know and we'll work on improving it!

Recently the moderation team have seen an increase of phishing links / scam attempts going around on Discord (via direct messages) and in-game.
On Discord, these messages are usually stating that your Steam profile was “accidentaly reported” for you being a scammer when it was actually someone else who “scammed” them, or they’ll message you asking to help promote their gambling site (this is usually related to the game Counter Strike: Global Offensive).
In-game, we’ve seen people promising free fraises / relics / shop items by entering your password into either a Google Form, or into a site that looks very similar to the official Atelier 801 forums.
This is a quick reminder to NOT trust these people, or trust these links, as they are trying to steal your account! **Do not click on any links sent to you by people you don’t know, and do not trust anyone offering you free stuff by clicking on a link they send you. **
If you see anyone doing this, please report them to a staff member, who will handle it accordingly.

For Halloween, we've created a carving contest: you can carve anything you like!
Be creative, there are (almost) no limitations.
The event runs from October 14 to November 4, 2021.
You can submit two ways:

Guidelines:
- Do not impose other images as your own, you will be instantly disqualified;
- Do not carve inappropriate images;

Write in English. Forms that are not written in English will not be replied to. We sometimes make exceptions for French (Meli speaks it, but doesn't deal with contact forms unless it's an exceptional situation), Polish (LionelleDi speaks Polish) or Romanian (I speak Romanian, but I don't normally deal with contact forms), but exceptions are rare, so better write in English.
Fill in the form properly. The number of empty contact forms that we receive is huge, and some don't even include their full nickname! We need as much information as possible so we can actually help you. There is a guide available for how to fill in the contact form here: https://atelier801.com/topic?f=5&t=786596. There are also a few translations available for this guide, do make sure to contact the staff of your community to ask where you can find them.
A huge number of forms relate to accounts being hacked or players getting scammed - please ensure you secure your accounts with a personal email address and that your passwords are strong! Don't give this information to anyone else and, if you're ever in doubt, ask a staff member!

Coming up with some news for you today relating to payment methods for buying fraises. This will hopefully not have a major impact on you, but nonetheless, we wanted to make sure we announce it before we actually make the change.
⚠️ We decided to remove Allopass from the payment options.
Why? It's only available in countries where there are already several methods of payment available, it generates very little revenue (meaning it's barely used) and it creates a lot of payment problems. Because of these, it was the logical decision for us to remove Allopass and keep the more reliable payment methods instead.
When? We expect the removal to happen sometime at the beginning of 2022.
How? Uhhh... no idea, but I like to call it Tig magic

With a bit of delay, but here's a bit of an explanation for some of the items being moved to collector!

We are looking to reduce the numbers in the head and fur categories to 'equalise' them with the other categories. We will also prioritise moving to collector the thematic items (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day), as it makes more sense for these to come in the shop during their season. One we get to a relatively equal number across categories, we can add new permanent items to the shop from the new items that we introduce!
We're not going to empty the shop completely, but just move some items to make it easier to look through the shop and make space for some new ones. Most players already have the permanent items so it doesn't make sense to keep them there permanently anymore. If you don't already have them, you'll have a chance to buy them before they move to collector as the process itself will span over 2 weeks. We announce a week before they go in sales, then they're in sales for a week, and only then they move to collector!
Hope this makes more sense now!

So these ones will be in shop until next Thursday, and then 3 other items will be in sales for two weeks before going into collector on the 27th.
PS: you'll also get to vote on which items go in sales for 2 weeks starting from 27th January (and then move to collector).

- Added new lua event eventContactListener. Use it with contactListener property in tfm.exec.addPhysicObject() or with contact="id" in xml map. Event is called when a mouse collide with the ground.

'Ello qts! It's been a while since the last reminder about contact forms, so here I am with the info!
Sanction appeals will not be answered. The only exception to this are the compromised account bans.
Write in English. Forms that are not written in English will not be replied to. We sometimes make exceptions for Polish (LionelleDi and Mika speak Polish) or Romanian (I speak Romanian, but I don't normally deal with contact forms), but exceptions are rare, so better write in English.
Fill in the form properly. The number of empty contact forms that we receive is huge, and some don't even include the full nickname! We need as much information as possible so we can actually help you. There is a guide available for how to fill in the contact form here: https://atelier801.com/topic?f=5&t=786596. There are also a few translations available for this guide, do make sure to contact the staff of your community to ask where you can find them.
A huge number of forms relate to accounts being hacked or players getting scammed - please ensure you secure your accounts with a personal email address and that your passwords are strong! Don't give this information to anyone else and, if you're ever in doubt, ask a staff member!

The most experienced shamans can now try a new difficulty setting by deactivating the shaman skills. In doing so, the experience gained is increased by 30% and the shaman currency gains by 50%.
- Rooms with "shaman" in their name no longer activate the "aie" mode.
- Added 3 new stats in the profile for the shaman mode without skill.
- In mode without skill, the nail arrows are disabled. Depending on the feedback, they may come back.

🏆 You can now show off all your hard work in the new Seasonal Leaderboards! You can open them from the new button and see who are the top 10 mice in each of the base gameplay categories, as well as see your own rank.
What else is there to know?
- The Leaderboards will be updated every hour to get the most accurate stats.
- Each season will last three months - the current season will be key for testing and resolving any bugs that may show up, so help us by reporting in #bugs-and-errors-old channel.
- To keep things fair, players who had a ban for cheating in the past 6 months, or who have an active permanent ban, will be excluded from the Leaderboards.

As you already noticed, we've been experimenting with toggling the number of mice needed for stats to count in custom & non-custom rooms - these changes were made due to players abusing the room customisation options to farm, which is not what those options were intended to do. We've made several changes to these and, hopefully, the next reboot should come with the final version of this:
- min 3 players if in non-custom rooms, just like it was before
- min 5 players in custom rooms, in order to hinder the problematic farming method
