I only ask for some of the people I am playing with coming from out of state. I'd recommend getting breakfast at the Atlanta Breakfast Club if you're going in early before registration opens. For lunch I would recommend Max's Coal Oven Pizza. The best thing about both of these spots is that they are within walking distance. For dinner, it's a bit difficult since Atlanta United is playing, but the Vortex is always worth a visit. If you're still up after all that, there are two after parties worth checking out (SonicBoomBox and the one at District). Let me know if you need recommendations for Sunday!

There is definitely plenty to do on a Saturday so I would try to head in as soon as possible. There is an opening DJ at the main stage at 10, and different tournaments going on around the stages. There are too many activities to list, so I would recommend downloading the app to be able to make a decision on what to do.

So the cop that pulled up on my when I was sitting on my tailgate while drinking a beer didn’t blink twice. She was curious to know what was going on. I asked her if drinking beer in this lot was okay and she said yes, the falcons tailgates are held there.

And a byoa(bring to own self)to byob tailgate to the byoc lan is a nice concept. Post part tailgate.

Also feel there should be more outdoor features like you’d find at other conventions and festivals. People coming and going will have things to do outdoors.

Houston has 2m square feet center, with 6k retractable arena seating for their amphitheater.
KC has a 800k square feet center with an arena that sits 10k

San Diego has like a metric crap ton of food places within a few minutes walk too. Easy to just dip for a few and come back

The burrito place in the back corner was actually pretty decent if you didn't mind paying $15 for a giant burrito. If you don't want to pay premium prices for food, there's always a 10-15 minute walk over to the food court at State Farm Arena, most of the places in there had food close to half the price of what was in the venue itself

The arena had the same type of food court you'd find in a shopping mall

It's kind of wedged between the State Farm Arena and the old CNN building

The Anthros one had free admission for anyone with a DreamHack badge and it was held at a known EDM hotspot

SBB has a good venue that was not too far from the GWCC and it is small and comfy.
