Ultrakill doesn't have mod support I don't think. This is the only way. To make your own patterns you go here.

Click "New" and you can edit the arena.

Click export and you'll download the file then head to your Ultrakill directory and click on the file labeled CyberGrind click the file labeled patterns and insert the file you got from the link. Load up Ultrakill go to the CyberGrind enable patterns BOOM there you go.

@inland yoke do you have any tips for map designing? As looking at my maps compared to yours, mine sorta fall flat

When I design Patterns; I have a few questions in mind:
"Is this fun?"
"Is this challenging?"
"Can this improve someone's enjoyment?"

If any of those things have a no, then it needs tweaked.

Now, with that in mind; it's impossible to account for the enjoyment levels of every player. Can't please everyone. The best you can do is just make sure that it's generally well-received.
