if you want to play the map the intended way id say shortcuts are fine(there are areas with intentional skips), but as soon as you touch the very outer wall or floor its game over.

there's 0 friction, sand mode, Speed mode(pretty sure it's broken i couldn't get it to work ever), vampire hook(steals health from enemies while hooking onto them), and test mode(not sure)

official level editor will be out when the full game releases and as of now there's a fan made level editor set to release a couple weeks after wrath. as for any other modding there are a few which you can find in the link above ^^^

there's all of prelude, act 1, and act2, which is 25 levels, plus whatever act 3 will bring
oh yeah also the prime sanctums + secret levels so 33 at least, dunno if the 3 layers for act 3 has been confirmed or not though.

Mods require their respective loaders to be used in game.
Melonloader and Bepinex are the common ones. Look at the git hub page to see which one the mod uses.

Melonloader completely prevents me from launching ultrakill, so I guess I can't use any mods from it.

I'm having an issue with the pattern editor: Whenever I try to export my pattern and save it in a location it just... doesn't save? I check the save location for the file and it isn't there. Am I missing something?
I'm guessing there's a checklist of things that need to be in the pattern before it can be exported or something like that?
I think that issue is known and should be fixed in the next update which should be soon™️

there's a unity plugin that converts unity scenes into levels, we also have access to all ultrakill prefabs and stuff
you can use anything you want to make the levels, but its best to use something that can be used in the editor itself (like probuilder or realtimecsg) so you dont mess up the scales

I finally got the mook role! Here's the first pattern I made that I wanted to post. Giant pillar in the center where a Hideous Mass will spawn and reign death from above. There's pits surrounding the arena with jump pads which will let you reach the top of the tower. LMK what you think if you'd care to play it

I think there could be some streamlining to how the pattern system works because even if the same map is loaded twice it reloads all the prefabs and shows the name again

basically the way ultrakill works in the story mode is that each door seperates rooms so when you enter a room it will keep the back one loaded too and only those 2, which is how you can get such good performance in big levels. sadly there's no way to do this in sandbox obviously so everything stays loaded at once.
i believe the level is done, i'll make one final playthrough to make sure just incase

but when i go to the bepinex folder there isnt any plugins folder

It uses whatever you decide to use. Probuilder is what the rest of the game uses, and thus it's recommended

And then I think it got worked on for a while to be showcased in a stream and from what I remember that was really hard to even make work alright.

I'm here to go off topic again and day that in the Combine, Civil Protection are all humans who are basically just cop race traitors who signed up for the benefits the Combine give, the rest of the soldiers used to be humans but have gone though the most fucked up cybernetic augmentation possible and are mind broken to basically be perfect obedient soldier

there is multiplayer in-game, here is how you enable it:
enter a stage of your choosing
press up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A
press the tilde key, select "spawner arm" option
right click -> select V2 from the pop-up menu
left click anywhere to start multiplayer game

It is not very difficult, in the case of images, you only use photoshop, but in the text, you enter the text folder, and open the only file there is, and put first what you want to edit, and then what is edited. ex: RICOSHOT=COINSHOT
the text folder is located in bepinex/translation/en
you can use coins to avoid aiming
