hey out of curiosity, how come you didnt submit this as a language pack to ultrakull and instead decided to make it a separate mod
I have taken the permission to make it a seperate fork by the current active developer lenarikil since Clearwater has abandoned the project long ago.
This way, I can add missing Turkish letters to the mod compared to the original UltrakULL that doesn't contain them. Which breaks the texts all together.

why does billion nemesis nearly have no checkpoint
I just had an idea for a mini boss: giant F### off Cerberus. They're much slower than normal but all of their attacks are massively scaled up. The stomp attack does a good size explosion (that doesn't deal self damage) centered at the stomp as well as a much larger shockwave, A dash that creates straight shockwave ripples that you need to jump over, and the apple throw that is slightly slower but has a much larger explosion ( can still be parried, maybe giving you a +DOWN_TO_SIZE bonus too)

It's done using vanityreprised. It should be linked on angry level loaders thunderstore page. A good source for instructions on seting up rude exist on the ULTRAMapping docs. Searching up "ULTRAMapping docs" on google and probably any other search engine should bring it up
All rude does is bring ultrakills decompiled assets and such into unity, and provide ways to organize different custom levels you've made. So you will need unity for any of it to actually work.
Vanity reprised is just what set's all of rude up. There are manual steps that are taken of course.

since custom levels leaderboards are managed by trusted speedrunners
and global steam leaderboards are meaningless since everyone uses speedrun.com
and speedrunners have to verify their runs to truly be considered legit

Yeah, many mod makers go out of their way to disable leaderboard submissions but it's not enforced and anyone can make a mod that uploads to the leaderboard
i think its generally just good practice to disable leaderboards if ur mod modifies gameplay then its probably a good idea to disable leaderboards
I mean ULTRASTATS isn't cosmetic, but I won't disable leaderboards for it. The rule should instead be if it modifies gameplay.

ngl major and minor are really subjective, for example auto aim could be quite powerful but it's considered minor in ultrakill
i guess for this game specifically aim is not as important as pulling good combos
yeah grey area exists for these things. I think most of your mods are fine, id personally have a problem uploading a mod like WeaponVariantBinds without blocking cg/custom level scores, Id leave the regular levels scores though. Regular levels leaderboards use speedrun.com so they aren't as important to keep pure.
I definitely think this is a conversation that should, at the end of the day, fall on the speedrunners/cybergrinders rather than us modders. Its their leaderboards. If some top cg players told me to block leaderboards when using ULTRASTATS im doing it.
interestingly i think i saw in the logs angry has something like "ultracoins detected adding soft leaderboard ban"
so they have a blacklist or something

I've considered disabling leaderboard uploads for ultrafishing for EXTREMELY MINOR gameplay changes. But ended up not doing it. Honestly, no one is going to use a mod like that to cheat on leaderboards when they can just use Unity Explorer or something

I think, personally, my favorite way to handle these things is to silently enable cheats when a potential gameplay advantage is triggered

Rude level editor. Check pins for how to set it up if you're interested. It's basically a unity project with Ultrakill assets extracted from your game. Its main purpose is to make levels but I use it for modding purposes

tried to copy an average door by having a reverse collider on the opposite side but same problem, it simply remains open
for anyone wondering, I figured it out, the door's child object has a Door Controller script, and you must set the door type to 0 to have the door close when you exit it
you must also make sure the door has both a front and back Door Controller, the back one having the Reverse toggled

Hey everyone! I'm trying to export Level 1-4 to Blender using AssetRipper, but I'm having a hard time with texture atlases and materials. Does anyone have a pre-made .blend file of the 1-4 Limbo arena, or maybe a tip on how to auto-map these textures? Thanks in advance!
this may be noob advice, i am probably wrong, but from my experience, Blender and Unity shaders and materials are quite different, but the UV mapping is the same, if you can just add the source image to the material in Blender
there may or may not be a plugin in Unity to export textures to a Blender format
google recommends you use the FBX Exporter package found in Package Manager
then export as an FBX and you may have a better time

Look up "ULTRAMapping docs" it should have all the instructions you'll need. But to be clear you are going to need the unity game engine (Getting a liscence for that engine is free you just need to make an account for it). Well, it's not that easy to do, because only the hand and revolver objects are visible, the others have flown so far away that they are not visible, and the level is again without textures.
It seems like this is a problem in Blender, I'll try to figure it out, but if you have any ideas on how to fix these import issues, let me know.

maybe narrow down the freezeframe angle a bit depending on your timings
and adjust the gap length of the crosshair hud a bit if necessary, it can be quite weird

LOOKING FOR A TEAM TO CREATE AN ULTRAKILL MOD β V2 STORY π¦π₯
Concept:
We are creating a parallel plot for V2. The player goes through sectors and routes that V1 skipped or didn't notice. To emphasize the different path, all start and end rooms have been changed from red to blue.
Why the story changed:
V2 entered Hell slightly later than V1. Therefore, while V1 was already clearing Limbo, V2 (the player) was only going through the Prelude. Because of this, their first encounter happens much earlier β in 1-2.
Gameplay and Features:
- The Clash in 1-2: We lose to V1, and he takes our arm.
- Survival: From 1-2 to 2-3, we play without an arm (no parrying) until we build a makeshift Green Arm.
- Chapter One Finale (3-3): A fight with Gabriel, after which we manage to shut the door right in the face of an enraged V1.
Release Plan (12 levels):
0-1, 0-2 | 1-1, 1-2 | 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, 2-5 | 3-1, 3-2, 3-3
Team positions needed:
- Programmer (C#/Unity) β mechanics, mob scripts.
- Map Builder (Unity) β creating "hidden side" levels.
- Modeler β new enemies (Klux, Gloym, etc.).
- Musician β background ambient and battle tracks.

for the r2modman mod manager, can you not set the path of where ULTRAKILL is? I have to have the steam directory in my downloads folder (yea, it's not ideal, but in order to get steam I had to pull some strings with how I installed it ^^") and whenever I try to launch a profile, it just gives me an error and freezes the mod manager

the problem is that you need to either pay people or cover most of the project yourself for people to join
Even if you do recruit other people, it's a good idea to know how to do these things yourself first
So you'll have realistic expectations of what can or can't be done and you'll be able to give better directions

Not to mention you could first present a prototype and then attract more people to the project

Just a comment of my opinion. Maybe dont use blue for the gates, because that would look similar to the encores, and honestly they don't look that good. Maybe a whiplash green? Or a dull blue
Also just completely remove parrying from the arsenal, cause v2 doesn't have the feedbacker on his non weapon arm (probably, lore people dont kill me)
As for the rooms, yes, I'll probably choose a different color. As for the hand, I plan to slightly modify the story: in V2, a new green hand will appear on the Lust layer. If the game already uses green for the whip attack, I'll simply change the color of this new hand. The key point is that this new hand will allow V2 to both attack and parry.

i also forgot i have a mod that gives the player the sam voice so everytime im ultrakilling as a stray i constantly hear the V1 creature speak
so, ive returned to an update of angry, sayed it needs notiffy an a depedancy
