by the way the black flashes only affect the following:
modded trails (like boosting the orb, the overcharge main trail, the effect around is unaffected)
the flashes that appear with these trails (so the overcharge doesnt not have this problem, neither with alt-fire or main)

its because i was using ultrakill.explosionhit for the freshness decay multiplier for every weapon except the shotgun
its a x0.75 mult while the shotgun gets x1.35 (over 9 pellets)
I can confirm angry doesnt disturb straymode, works just fine

There's a mod that affects hitstops, it doesn't stop them but it does sync them with whatever music is playing in the level if you're interested in that

Oh, shit, lmao. I hatched a grand scheme of downpatching ULTRAKILL to edit Ultratweak, then swapping back to current patch once I had everything finalized and not necessary for change. I also downloaded a better style titles mod since you donโt have to manually turn that one on every time you want custom style titles.

use the UV editor to change the texture scales
uv standing for ultraviolet radiation
you don't need custom ground properties for every wall
not good for your body if you get too much
by default all objects on the environment layer will let the player walk, slide, wall jump and do other movement on them
same with Outdoors, OutdoorsBaked and EnvironmentBaked

the middle part uses 0.2 the sides use 0.1 and it feels off
but when the sides use 0.1 too it feels small

one thing that can help with the visuals of the environment is having more texture variety
and i found it also helps to offset the edge loops that are on faces with materials that look like pipes
custom ground properties should ideally only be used if you are trying to override the default properties of an object (e.g. changing its particle effects from metal/glass to only flesh etc.)
the materials themselves already handle environmental particles and sound effects like footsteps and glass bits and such
