Project Purgatorio is only accessible through a downpatched version of the Angry and Rude Level Loader atm
If you scroll up, you’ll see we gave advice on how to play a downpatched version of the level loader
Should I expect at some point the old levels from before re-vamp coming back to angry level loader or do I downgrade to and earlier version of the game, and is there a way to just update the maps without having made them myself to make it accessible on the revamp version of angry level loader? how would i change the subtitles for a boss, im trying to get into making my own ulrakill mods and wanna make one of these first to get started
i think all of the subtitles are hardcoded so youd probably have to replace the text afterwards using a postfix patch or some other funky stuff
ultrakull i think allows you to change subtitles but i dont think its available for current patch
then how do some people make audio overlays and have it change the subtitles too with the current patch??

Hello. I have an issue regarding ULTRAKILL modding on r2modman. I am trying to play modded ULTRAKILL but whenever i open it on play modded, the game is still in vanilla. how can i fix this?
i first caught wind of it when trying to play angrylevelloader. then i downloaded another mod but the game is still in vanilla, too btw. on most recent ultrakill update as well. Is Angrylevelloader broken or is it my part?

nope. As mentioned this is a new issue for me. It started when i deleted risk of rain 2, but when i reinstalled it a year later to play modded with friends, it says the folder wasnt compatible. i try to link my progress and steam tracking, but the game opens up on vanilla

Masquerade divinity (play as gabriel), angry level loader (custom levels), and maybe bananas difficulty (harder difficulty) if you want. Make sure that they are all on separate r2modman profiles to make sure they work tho

The style editor mod used to make conduction deal infinite damage pre-revamp, so really anything can happen.
It's pretty broken. The terminal clips inside the wall because this room's shape is now different. Gotta turn on noclip to use it properly. I was hoping I could also get things like Earthmover parts and Very Cancerous Rodents in there for funsies, but I could only get the homing shot one in there before it bugged out and no longer lets me edit anything.
However, there is a config file I can still edit. I'll play around with it more later. Right now I have very important matters to attend.

in the rude lvl editor, how do i make something in my script happen at the end of my wave? i tried putting the script with a Start() event on a game object and putting the game object in the wave's To Activate, but it didnt work

try adding an empty gameobject after that wave and then adding an object activator to it

okay well i would really recommend not copying everything verbatim, it's much harder to read than it needs to be coming straight from a decompiler
also decompilers will not remember any variable names that aren't part of a class so that doesn't help either

my best guess would be theres a difficulty assigned to each button so youd just have to change that for your button

After booting up ultrakill so USGC would work i placed the textures into a folder in ultrakill//bepinex//plugins//bobthecornultraskins-gc//ultraskins
That's where you are wrong, the mod creates a folder in your AppData folder
And there is where you place your files
I think that you can access it by using win10's search bar (or pressing win + r) and writing %APPDATA%

Hi guys, I'd like to tell you all the steps i am following for each time i create a new RUDE level, to see if i am doing everything right, if one of the steps or all of them are wrong please correct me, i'll even attempt it in a clean UK copy with my save ported over to it to see if it makes any differences (Modless), i also downloaded a new clean VanityReprised 1.2.1.
- I opened the VanityReprised file and ran the .exe file "AssetRipper.GUI.Free.exe", as Administrator.
- The AssetRipper website opened, then i opened the ULTRAKILL folder in it (using the Clean Version).
- I wait (this took a sec...).
Q. During the processing, i have a question about it; is it normal for there to be expected byte errors? - After finishing, i generate a RUDE Project, but before doing so i create a folder for it.
- I select the folder i just made for it and then press the button "Generate Project".
- Me and my PC's RAM wait. (this took a while... at the edge of BSOD.... maybe...)
Q2: I originally ran the Project in version 2022.3.28f1 when i read the ProjectVersion.txt file, but the AssetRipper program said it was in the versions 2022.3.29f1 and 2022.3.26f1. Why is this happening, is it fine and should i run it in 2022.3.29f1 instead of 2022.3.28f1? - The asset ripper begun getting all assets, so i wait again.
- Says its finished.
Is there anything else i should do when it says Finished Exporting Assets and Finished post-export or can i close the program?

rude is just a bunch of ultrakill assets with a fancy exporter
the resulting project is the same every time you run it
to create levels you should use the exporter
the exporter is found under the RUDE tab at the top of the screen

the exporter sets up you up with all the basics
you get a scene in which you can work on level
when you want to create a new one there is a button to do so
Generating multiple rude projects is pointless
they all have exactly the same contents
in fact you can delete vanity right after it generates a project because you will most likely not need it again
that reminds me i havent actually generated a rude project
i dont have ultrakill installed anyways so oh well

The test level is fully functional, im happy it works! but there's something weird about it.
First time loading in the level, the player spawns outside of the elevator and can't do anything but pull out weapons and fire it, though when i restarted the level it worked normally.

txt2 is a private field, so you can use harmony's Traverse class to access it

The skybox also began rendering everything the player sees, so basically the skybox is rendering the player's frames viewed.

To install mods, get R2Modman and simply run it, make a profile and select Ultrakill, you’ll figure out the rest from there
Creating mods is tough, you need to both do and know plenty. The pinned messages explain how to start off, as well as how to gain access to the official Level Editor

You need to check if the mods are up to date, or downpatch your game (also explained in pins)
The Ultra_Revamp update from a few months ago broke every mod, many have already been ported to work with the update but Jaket is one that hasn’t
