Damn... I gave that level like 30+ attempts for the hippie achievement and any time I actually completed it I got "1% killed". Learned about TAB showing level stats, and at the very end I noticed the final button added 1 kill
I was using the wand (don't know the name sorry) and only shot twice so I couldn't imagine it actually killing an enemy. Also pretty sure I saw both orbs go to the button itself... but I'm tired. I'll send a video of it later

tbqh, quake 1 didn't even set the standard; too many boomer shooters are far off model especially from the things quake did differently to Doom and Quake's contemporaries, like enemies which are higher health but fewer in number and with far more spatially complex attack patterns.

The Voltride's damage is low but the overkill mechanic is awesome and low damage doesn't imply that it's hard to deliver killing blows with it.
I underutilized it but it can be incredibly overpowered if you use it as a finisher

That's probably it. Trident requires much more precise aim than the other weapons to use effectively so if you aren't a good shot it feels like an underwhelming weapon by comparison.

Voltride DPS without soul mode really isn't great even if you hit and I'm pretty sure the azure orb outperforms it in that aspect or at least comes close and it gives you much more freedom because you only need to shoot in the general direction of enemies
Azure orb is pretty awesome in general. It can do a ton of damage without precise tracking and it can shoot around corners.
Voltride is the finisher weapon and chain lightning does a ton of damage.
It even works underwater.

Once I've played through a game all I can do with it is fuck around, find out stuff about it and try to break it in weird ways maybe
if i had to guess what's up with the celestial claw it would be that it probably doesn't do 100% damage on a direct hit and its damage varies a little bit depending on hitboxes and such
so one enemy type might take a tiny bit more damage from it than another

I believe the low limit to overall resolution is 360p so on a 1440p you can probably turn it down to 25%, and 17% on 2160p
Anyway, point is that the lowest possible setting still looks good and you really don't need to render at 4k or even full HD
