@night ginkgo the only real similarities between Amid Evil and Painkiller is collecting souls for a time limited power move and having enemy sets separated between different environments
it could just be the setting but it feels sort of similar to finding limited use OP weapons or enemy type changes in harder dungeons meant for higher level characters

it takes a great game to replicate the sheer fun I have with games like DOOM and QUAKE. DUSK and AMID EVIL... has managed to do so.
I have had as much fun with both those games as I had with my initial run of DOOM 4
Also seeing a weapon in the number 2 slot. Which is reserved for a pistol or something rather weak, remain useful throughout the game, is amazing
