Those are definitely my inspirations! Aubrey Hodges soundtracks for Doom 64 and Quake 64, and to some extent Akira Yamaoka's soundtracks for Silent Hill. And being also a metal head it was nice seeing Akira Yamaoka live shredding on guitar with his band. 😃

In the game there is an enemy called a Raptoid which the manual described as a "A vicious dinosaur mutant with razor sharp claws". But in the game it would run away, scream, and roll off bridges all of the time. Like I was nerd sweating or something lol. Was missing the evil of the amid evil foes. 😉

I just wanted to suggest that AMID EVIL may be a worthy exception to that policy

The question you are encouraged to ask yourself is, "Is this game -- as it is, right now -- worth the asking price?" New Blood is establishing a track record of releasing games in Early Access only when they feel like there is already some "completeness" to the gameplay.

You might feel that 20 levels, plus two Hordes of Evil arenas, in a fresh new fantasy FPS are not worth $20, but that 28 levels are (once Ep6 and 7 get released). In which case waiting for the game to fully release is a respectable choice.

If you ask me, though, I have already gotten my money's worth out of AMID EVIL and I continue to do so.
