Easy 2 attacks, break into the bottom, take out rocket artillery and giant cannon, then just mop up the rest in a second attack

fforfail already explained it well, but here are some extra tips:
-try to put the artillery in its own compartment, make it big so archers struggle when trying to snipe it
-dont group the powerful defences, a quick push can wipe them all out, leaving nothing good defending the base

yknow how there are compartments in base layouts (example in pic)? you want to do that, but dont do it the same as home base, cuz those are different defences with different strengths n weaknesses
instead, you tailor it according to the base's weaknesses

like the only entrances are these 2 (pic 1) and this area (pic 2), so you want to make sure those are fortified, but not with your best defences, otherwise they will be destroyed before they do real damage to the army

I cleaned up the ch using 2 attacks and destroyed builder workshop and balloon lagoon with my 4 remaining attacks

DM for suggestions
Always offense buildings, then as few defenses as possible until you unlock the next CH level. Don't do Walls if possible. Do obstacles if you can't otherwise fit a decent base layout.
Prioritize upgrading Districts with the most Army Camp upgrades or those that have one in the first place, so Barb Camp -> Wizard Valley, Dragon Cliffs -> the rest. Then do commonly used troops like Snarchers and SWizards.
In terms of defensive priorities, I'd do Mortars, Bomb Towers and Multi Cannons first. I'd do just enough of these to unlock the next CH upgrade, then get investing.

always rebuild ruins but focus mainly on offense. upgrade troops and army camps then capital hall as fast as possible
It's for later. But if there are any Barracks or Spell Factories that house units you guys use frequently, upgrade those first, and rebuild new Barracks and Factories concurrently.

itzu's clan capital upgrade guide mostly follows that order, with maybe a few exceptions
itzu's guide focuses stronger (and therefore more expensive) stuff first, I wouldn't recommend
he himself said in one video that's it's outdated now iirc
better than a spreadsheet : upgrade offense, then ruins, then cheapest defenses

There's some nuances there at various capital hall like in ch7, it's faster to get the dragon cliffs army camp upgraded than barbarian camp ones. Troop orders - this is where people butt heads. Golem gang vs wizard gang
Defense is overrated even with double rewards after balance change.
1- you don't earn/lose gold when others attack you
2- from a ch7+ perspective defensive medals is only 1/5th of your offensive medals unless your clan is the kind which uses 6+ attacks on capital peak/districts.
Because of the minimum upgrades required before next capital hall,your defenses are quite strong when you reach ch8,9,10. It's not worth the effort to min maxing here for good defense. Rather praying to clash god for a 6+ attack on your capital peak/district is more useful.
defense is not overated it just ok because we do clan raid multiple times
it gives a little more medals and becomes a lot over time
With the plethora of rewards offered in the game which we don't have even time for, it's fair to lose out those 20-30 medals. If you're that anxious about it then go get everything possible from the game.
Don't forget the amount of cwl medals you miss out on by not participating in a higher league of cwl. Bonus medals not mentioned.
I use RLoons and Snarchers now, most of the time, after some recommendations from a server member.
Eh, having a good layout means you'll need to pray less to get more attacks on your District and it will actually happen more often, and the increased defensive rewards will eventually add up and let you get more Magic Items.
If you can spare the effort to copy bases or make new ones. Stock bases aren't bad, many struggle on them.
making a good layout is worth it because only 1 player has to do it and it serves for the whole clan
not tryharding, just taking a decent one, it will take 1 hour for all 7 districts but will give a few more medals to all players every raid, acumulated it makes a nice bonus for low effort
(and also makes the raid a little bit more interesting for the attackers not attacking the default layout)

I have 12 accounts, 11 that actively participate in raid weekend. At a low level capital hall, I am able to get about 6 upgrades going plus contributing to walls. 2 of those accounts are actively forging gold and every account gets free gold daily. That's about 2,000 free for 10 accounts. How much capital gold could you possibly need?
you can need as much as possible. also who is daily login to all their accounts lol. so much work

If you change Clan before the Raid Weekend ends, it will display as having beaten zero Raids or Districts.

I assume it checks for raids completed in your current Clan, and since you didn't take part in Raid Weekend in that Clan, it shows as zero. Maybe it shows the Raids that Clan actually did if it completed some, but in these situations, I always enter into Clans which most certainly did not.

We are serious about clan capital in our clan, me and @zenith ginkgo often help our mates with attacks
We always adapt to any base, if hog is effective somewhere, then we use only hogs there, where there are giants + magicians, somewhere there are balls

Nice, some of us take clan capital seriously too. Some of us have many alts and our motivation to play is to compete who gets most gold
Tbh, I used 20 alts for my clan and the top 15 are all my alts lol

There are a lot of them, like only archers, so only hogs, balls, and the rest is as usual: giants + magicians + guns or somewhere you can combine
So, open attack mainly with archers rage, then if it is district we do hogs + double heal, but sometimes we use archers rage + hogs heal in second attack, however on capital peek we often use giant + super wizards to destroy ch and get great percentage

I have at times been able to 2 attack barb camp at ch7, but most of the time, not possible. Yeah, I take down air defenses and bombs in my first attack, but then usually time fail on my second attack with loons or fort

I typically 2-3 hit most Districts and 4 hit Peak, which isn't great.
What comp should I use for GiWiz at CH7? I'd personally RLoon the Hall instead, and I'm always concerned that splash would hit my Wizards, despite their health buff.

When are SkeleBarrels worth using? I haven't seen people using them and I tried to use them to distract Infernos, but to no avail.
they are mostly for when splash damage is nowhere to be found
overwhelm a small compartment which has no splash (spear launchers, cannons, multicannons, etc), or send them into an air def compartment, where no ground defences can kill them
think of them as the flying fortress's skeleton crew ability (upon death release about 20 skeles)

is a multi hit format so attacks that work on every base are clearly spam
if i can beat every base in two hits with same strat its clearly just spam
its not like anyone expecting one hit clears
archers are good enough to be considered op but without altering the strat to fit exact scenarios its far weaker. # of battle rams and #of barbs to look for traps. if you have a set comp it will guarenteed not work to the best of its ability on any given base. hog are the same way. there is no set comp of any strat that will perform better than a strat that is atleast slightly tailored to what youre attacking
if you are two hitting everything including capital then its either low ch level, or you are one of the best players in the game. im assuming not the ladder

If you dont play boom beach, its:
The base of a clan, different currency, you build/contibute to building the districts (on different parts of the mountain), and every weekend you raid enemy capitals (basically war for clan capital) for clan gold and when the weekend ends, you get raid medals (like cwl medals) which can be spent on potions and resources
raid medals are a lot less valuable than cwl medals, but you get piles of them every raid weekend
and you can buy resources for cheaper
also u can use them to self fill cc, not recommended but lets you get any super troop and seige machine for ur cc instantly

one crucial thing id reccomend is have ur rocket artillery in a compartment with 2 spaces between it and the walls

This design I made mostly myself, with some inspiration from yt vids
Cuz ch5 (imo) is where you say goodbye to "compartment ring around ch" and hello to what I made above
i would say to structure more of the base around rocket artillery. with equal priority to ch. like a diamond base that would have both ch and rocket in core. even if the other defenses are in different compartments and only flanking

you want key defs to be unreachable outside their own comp, ideally with moats and closed comps around it
you really don't want key defs chainable from the capital hall
carts kinda fell off with their nerfs but you absolutely have to keep sarch in mind
(to do this you want a 2 tile gap between walls and the defence, so snarchers cant take it without using a ram to open the compartment)

moats/open comps basically break wall breaker and ram ai cos they can't target them cos their not closed

here the wall piece on the edge can't be targeted
A row of walls that doesn't actually encase a structure, but usually serves to create some distance between the attacked and the target comp, and funnel wall breaking units onto specific walls.
rage + heal 3 pekkas + 3 wiz will kill a district hall + everything around it no matter what. ive tested with 2 ra/bb/gc on them and it still kills ch, gc, only one ra for some reason and weakened the other, weakened bb

we've been using the itzu one for ch7 and it's been 5 on average (with one held for 10 lmao)
the nerf was where the first shot of the cart wasn't fired off instantaneously, instead it's now 0.7s I believe
before then, carts could just go around insta-1 shotting defenses
if they were knocked out (destroyed form), they would shoot again
so thats why its kinda slow
also is it me or do the destroyed forms have less range

How does a Inferno under Frost act? Since it deals effectively continuous damage, how is the slow applied? Does it cause a larger interval between each damage tick, does it increase the time it takes to reach the next tier, or both?

Also, how long does it take to reach the next tier normally? I know it's slower than Home Village, which reaches T2 almost immediately.
In HV, it clearly shows the time per tier and damage per tick.
from what I can see, it increases the time it takes for it to reach each tier
and I also think that it slows down how much it ticks

basically wants to have multiple clans at the exact same number of upgrades so they match, and by putting easy bases get more gold and medals
however, getting many clans to CH7 won't be easy, and it will also remove all the fun :/
unless you have like 50 th11s constantly crafting gold, its gonna be very slow
why not th9 or th12 (whichever that allows 3 or more craftings) is cuz th9 is too slow, th11 has 2 crafting and unlocks sgobs, after that its probably not worth upgrading, unless ur planning on rushing
- higher ths may have more problems (better protected loot)

Its only possible at CH10 maxed out, and Will not BE possible when newer clans reach CH10 max
there isnt really a set amount you should be targeting
it depends on a lot of factors, if you have a higher ch level, you naturally get more gold per attack and if you are the one cleaning up 99%s, you will have a lower number
generally speaking, you should shoot for capital peak in 3 attacks and the rest of the districts in 2 attacks
That's not a number I can usually achieve. It's usually 4 and 3 respectively.
Districts in 2 attacks is possible but you got to be pretty good or attack a bad layout
Capital peak in 3 at higher levels is pretty common but can be hard at lower levels
Ch10 3 attacks is easy
you can try to consistently get bases down in 3 attacks then, that should be very doable
15 attacks for all 7 districts is just the absolute minimum unless the base builder is letting you roll over their bases
That's a very achievable performance. Usually its hard but possible to get then down on less 1 attack
Personally barbarian camp is the hardest (you probably cant do it ground troops, only air Troops)
My main strat switched from Rage Snarcher setup and PECart or FFLoon for the main attack to mass RLoons with some Snarchers to expand deployable space and either Frost and Zap or 5 Zaps, depending on whether I can get more Frost value where I plan to hit or zap out an RR or something.
That's if ur lucky, it would normally be 3 for a district (2 if its new) and 4 for capital
Of course, not everything goes to plan
So you cant always get the minimum
to me, getting a district in 2 or peak in 3 is kinda like getting a 3 star in HV
a district in 3 or peak in 4 is like a good 2 star in HV
a district in 4 or peak in 5 is like a bad 2 star/high 1 star in HV
a district in 5 or peak in 6 is like a bad 1 star in HV
so, like for HV you can get 3s with either a bad design or a good attack, but it's always possible
though it will surely get harder once everybody won't be rushed ^^

I especially love it when they deploy a skele barrel crowd (6 is a horde, 3 is a crowd, according to minion group size measurements), and all the skeletons die to a mine within 5 seconds of being released from their barrel

You want to farm worse players with your layouts.
Most the layouts have a lot of defenses together. When aproached incorrectly it can lead to extra attacks used

You dont get less medals. Defensive RAID medals are based only on the best defense
If you have a clan with a single defense (your defense killed 2500 Troops) you get 100 medals
If you have another clan where you had 10 defenses, it Will only count the One that killed the most Troops (if the best also killed 2500 Troops, you also get 100 medals)

I see a lot of chatter about rocket loon zap(s) strategy. How do you use the zaps? Just to chip away hit points of buildings or is there some other utility to the lightning spell that I am missing?
Because the "stun" doesn't really seem to last long enough to make a difference against anything except the hall itself

What's the comp? I use 1/7 Archers, rest are Loons with either Frost or 5 Zaps, depending on what gets me better value.
The more rocket loons the better. Usually full rocket loons with some minions (on the first attacks sometimes super barbs and battle rams aswell)
i usually bring as many loons as i can, and then rams, barbs, and minions as needed
zap down rapid rockets/air defenses deep inside the base and rocket loons pick off the rest
imo, its the attack with the highest learning curve, but its also the strongest attack in the capital rn.
there is no "comp" it's always about adapting the combinaison of troops to the base itself
I suppose. I just always used the specific 3 Snarcher - rest Loons setup for the past few Raids and usually get by with 3 attacks on Districts, 4 on Peak.

Upgrade only offensive buildings, unlock new ruins and as few cheap defensive upgrades as possible to unlock the next CH level.
Decorations do not count towards the CH unlock counter, so only do them if you couldn't complete your base otherwise.

but this is the most "central" place, since a ton of the clash community is here
even when protected by a few defenses, barbs are better
more efficient + clear traps
guides also try to make things simple, ig it's too hard for many to switch a few archers to barbs
well they don't walk off zaps, but that protects rams so it's still a win
But they're almost as simple. I guess it's because invisibility and a larger unit count.
And many use Rage Snarchers too.

What about Rocket Loons and the Mega Troops?
Rocket loons are very good if used right (and agaisnt certain bases)
Golem is meh - its a good troop for an easy average performance. Flying fortress is definitely better, worse than rocket loons but the 2nd best air troop
Tbh most troops have their uses, with the exception of super dragons - they're very bad
Super dragons might be the best troop to take down an opposing dragon in dragon cliff. Not sure if 4 archers can or not

They are literally mini tanks, I used them (at ch2) to draw attention of halltillery off archers and onto themselves so 1 group of snarchers last longer and do more dmg
Same, all I see is that they do a big burst of damage, and then you need to hope they don't go down to (if some people catch onto the strat) a stray air mine, or halltillery, rocket artillery and air bombs

1st - your example is a bit weird
Usually there are 2 disitricts were using air options is better - dragon cliffs and barbarian camp (if you want to clear in 2 attacks)
Because clan capital is all about adapting, sometimes its better to swap strategies between attacks, for example when there are less air defenses. Rocket loons arent an "omg so op troop" and are very hard to use, but to get a very good performance in clan capital you probably need to use air attacks
And when you say "the best ground option" you're usually talking about 3 strategies that happen to be all ground strategies and easier to use
dragon cliffs i can see them being better but eh, its a weird district i havent seen a consistent solution to
barb camp goes down in 2 to any ground spam in my experience

hog raiders are a ground strategy. Flying fortress is around as good as rocket loons imo, but better for cleanup attacks bcs capital gold
tbh barb camp (in early ch levels) is a good target for rloons
(technically the glider counts, but for this discussion forgive me and lets exclude it from the list)
they're amongst the top strategies, but they arent an air strategy :)
