If you're losing trophies on 200% attacks you either need to learn a faster attack strategy or you need to make a better base

speed has no effect on trophies

if you're consistently 6 starring, that's about as much as you can ask for

but yes you do need a better base if you're getting 6 starred every time as well

but also consider that a better layout only does so much; if you have very low level defenses you will not be able to push very far

keep upgrading your baby dragons and use a gimmicky base so at least some will fail

Trophies depend on defenses, so the only practical thing you can do is upgrading defense and getting a better layout. Other than that you could just attack alot and hope for people dropping or failing

yeah, % and stars are the only thing that matter. if you get 6 stars every time, you'll always get 50 trophies, whether you won in 40 seconds or 4 minutes

"best" attack strategy is not a thing in bh, because you can literally swap your troops out to react to a base. The meta is typically to have one antiair base, and one anti-ground base, and so you should read the base and take exactly what you need.

That said if you want to level just one or two troops, here are some options:

• Barch is literally the cheapest and also top-tier at a high level (though it's somewhat hard, comparatively)
• baby drag spam is extremely strong and free for the anti-ground base
• night witch spam is good
• pekka spam is not for me but is still very successful

You have to wait a minute or 2 for first stage to finish first stage, and then place down troops which adds even more time... And getting a 6star is 50% more gold than a 3star

Meanwhile you could have done like 12 attacks in the time you lost for hopefully getting 50% more resources by getting a 6star

There are people with troll/old bases active for viewers, yeah

But since bb matchmaking works as it does most players in the top matchup against each other all the time, and take a screenshot and post it somewhere and the layout is in circulation in a heartbeat

Theres then no point to change the layout for onlookers as the people will get and learn the base in a day anyways

You can clearly see this in action when someone in the top 5 changes base, its everywhere in the top within a day lol. Ashjer talked about it as a issue in a video a bit back

That layout for example is about a week old, and suddenly everyone was using it

But generally the top players each season becomes more secretive at the end

But that generally makes the top bases have small iterations just to throw of the attacker in the specific strategies that are being used. Which can be worse if not in the top

I would do it like this

spring traps are only for archers, so it's 3/2 tiles away from the target that the attacker wants to get

which in that case would be the cannon to left or right, but since there are 2 buildings the archer will be placed in the middle one tile closer

a good tip is also to make sure the pushtraps in pekka pathing doesn't point into a compartment

They're food for Lava Launchers, and other splash also becomes tankier and better utilized the further you go. Since BB trophy matchmaking is based exclusively on trophies, you're bound to run into higher BH level players that'll have Lava Launchers, against which Night Witches are a liability.

This is also a major reason why rushing the Builder Base, not just for BOB, but also the better defensive and offensive buildings that become available, is so important.
