Town Hall 15 is coming! This is looking to be the biggest Town Hall content update!

With Town Hall 15, there are numerous upgrades for your buildings, defenses, super troops, regular troops and spells.

Town Hall 15 also features 5 additional levels for all of your heroes!

Unsurprisingly, Town Hall 15 also comes with more upgrade time and cost reductions for lower town hall levels. Yes this includes Town Hall 14!

This may be the best time to start another account, or to come back to the game if you've been away!

Additional thoughts from the Clash of Clans team and give some context regarding these balance changes and why they were made:
"Over the years, the distribution of our players has evolved where the average Town Hall level of players has moved from TH9-TH10 to TH11-TH12. As we've added new TH levels we've reduced upgrade costs and times to motivate players to continue upgrading to higher TH levels. However, we haven't released many balance changes to address the difficulty players face in this TH range, leading to players feeling more challenge but a less rewarding experience.

We want players to feel challenged at all TH levels, but we also want to encourage players to feel rewarded for trying new tactics and taking new risks.

We plan to address the balance of TH15 later this year. However, with the World Championship Finals just around the corner we felt it would be unfair to previous qualifying teams if the game balance was changed.

We are looking at other parts of the game where changes are required, as we implemented balance changes to Clan Capital a couple weeks ago.

Hopefully this helps provide some insight into why these changes were made.

New Hero Equipment: Haste vial & Hog Rider Puppet

The Royal Champion is getting two new pieces of Hero Equipment! royalchampion

  • Unlocked at Blacksmith Level 7
  • Summons a team of Hog Riders to fight alongside the Royal Champion

  • Unlocked at Blacksmith Level 8
  • Increases movement and attack speed for a few seconds

QoL Improvements and Game Changes:

  • Upgrade buttons have been clarified to use a specific resource or magic item in order to reduce accidental usage of unintended resources or items. Tapping the button for a specific resource or magic item will allow you to spend only that specific resource or magic item when upgrading.
  • Attacking troops can now walk through decorations and obstacles (except in clan capital).
  • Decorations don’t prevent deploying troops on them anymore.
  • Players can play in a Friendly War and in a normal Clan War at the same time, in 2 different clans.
  • If a Clan War ends in a perfect-perfect draw, neither clan loses their win streak. sharkhi
  • There’s no cooldown when setting up a legend league defense layout after merging defenses.
  • Leaders and Co-Leaders can now see the “last seen” timers for members for up to a month (instead of upto a week).

Bug Fixes

  • The Giant Gauntlet bug that made the Barbarian King invulnerable has been fixed.
  • Archer Queen’s active equipment stats don’t stack with the rage spell anymore.
  • The Ricochet Cannon and Multi Archer Tower won’t be shown in the builder menu if they can’t be upgraded.
  • Only non-maxed army camps will be selected when clicking on the recommended army camp upgrade item in the town hall upgrade confirmation screen.
  • Damage of the Grand Warden will be calculated correctly. Previously, his damage output from equipment did not match the values shown on the info screen.
  • Unit levels in Builder Base challenges will be displayed correctly when the builder base tutorial is not completed.
  • Builder base stars will accumulate if you get disconnected in the battle end screen.
  • The defensive Grand Warden’s range will be displayed correctly when selecting his altar (it was off by 0.13 tiles).
  • Passive effects on the Grand Warden will no longer disappear when he is revived by the Phoenix pet.
  • An issue was fixed that allowed summoning units (Witches, Dark Witches) to bypass their summoning cooldown under certain circumstances.
  • A crash was fixed when trying to deploy Clan Castle troops more than 3 tiles out of play area bounds by not deploying them at all in such cases.
  • An issue was fixed with Clan Capital units showing an empty info screen if you opened them via Capital Friendly Challenge from Home Village.
  • An issue was fixed with Home Village units using the old info screen if they were opened via Home Village Friendly Challenge from Builder Base.
  • Rounding bugs from training time were fixed if multiple training time reduction perks were active at the same time.
  • An issue with the Grand Warden dying even with Eternal Tome through the auto ability was fixed.
  • An issue was fixed with the Archer Queen shooting two Giant Arrows when the ability was triggered during death at a specific time.
  • Royal Champion’s Seeking Shield timing and animation were fixed.
  • The missing Super Potion button from Super Troop activation screen was fixed if it was opened via the Quick Train tab when the boost had run out.
  • An event completion notification was added into the Events button and removed from the News button.
  • A visual bug in the Dragon Palace Scenery was fixed.
  • Builder Base Giant Cannon pushback was fixed to be less strong.

Sneak Peek 2: Introducing a new pet and more upgrades!

Introducing Angry Jelly AngryJelly

Angry Jelly is a flying pet with a long-range attack that targets defenses. During battle it convinces brainwashes its hero to attack defenses for some time before splitting up to attack defenses if they are in it's range.

  • While brainwashing the hero, the Angry Jelly cannot be targeted or damaged and won't trigger traps.
  • Once the master hero is eliminated, or when the brainwashing duration has ended, Angry Jelly can be targeted and can trigger traps.
  • Angry Jelly will be available in this update to players at Town Hall 16 that have the Pet House at Level 10.

New upgrade levels

All walls at TH16 can now be upgraded to Level 17. Additionally, the Clan Castle, the Builder Hut, the Eagle Artillery, the Monolith, and the Pet House get a new level. The Yeti, the Ice Golem, the Electro Titan , and the Flame Flinger, also get a new level each in this update!

Starting October 1st, there will be some changes regarding the Gold Pass Challenges. This testing will be applied for TH7 and above players and will include three different potential versions of the Seasonal Challenges, given at random to players:

  • One group of players will receive the same set of Challenges and pace as any previous set from previous Seasons.
  • Another group of players will receive a set of Challenges that will require fewer points to complete 2,000 total instead of 2,600)
  • And lastly, the third group of players will receive have additional Challenge Tasks every week, allowing them to score more points overall from various activities
    The goal of this is to provide the Clash team with insights to hopefully make improvements to the Gold Pass progression in the future.

TH17 Sneak Peek 1 New Weapon and Trap

TOWN HALL 17 is bringing new building levels, but also, some buildings are… gone?! Let’s dive in:

  • Merge your Town Hall and Eagle Artillery to create a devastating new Town Hall Weapon: Inferno Artillery!
  • It shoots 4 projectiles at the same time that look for different targets. If there are less than 4 targets, the projectiles will shoot the same targets.
  • Each projectile damages its target (no splash), but it leaves an area effect that does damage over time to all the ground and flying troops in the area.
  • This weapon is always active.
  • The Town Hall 17 Building does not have the death bomb anymore, so when destroyed, it is simply... destroyed!

Quality of Life Improvements

  • New: Hero Skin selection screen now features better lighting and background!
  • Speaking of the new Skin selection screen several skin textures have been updated to match the new lighting and background.
  • Hard Mode selection now persists for friendly challenges.
  • Cooldown rules are bypassed when changing the defensive layout for Legend League if you have placed any buildings that are not yet placed in Legend Layout.
  • You can now assign Builder's Apprentice to the Forge.
  • Archer Queen is now available to Town Hall 8 players.

TH17 Sneak Peek 2 New Troop, Spell, Defense, and Building!

New Defense: Firespitter!

  • Aimed defense like the Air Sweeper, so players need to pick aim direction, and a cone will show the area that is covered by the Firespitter. Only Troops in this area will be targeted.
  • The Firespitter has extremely fast attack speed (Faster than X-Bow), but it also lacks precision, which means the shots can miss the target, hitting Troops behind the main target of the Firespitter.
  • Projectiles may hit both ground and air troops no matter if the defense's target is ground or air.

New Troop: Thrower!

  • This Elixir Troop targets anything at long range and has high HP.
  • Available at TH16

New Spell: Revive!

  • This Elixir Spell brings a defeated Hero back to the attack with some amount of health.
  • When the Revive Spell is used, it targets the closest defeated Hero within an 8-tile range.
  • This Spell can be used multiple times on the same Hero whenever they get defeated.
  • The Revive Spell is available at Town Hall 15 and above.

Chief's Helpers and Helper Hut

  • Remember The Builder’s Apprentice? This hard-working guy is finally getting his own building:
  • Helper Hut is a brand-new 3x3 building in your Home Village (Town Hall 9 and above) which will help you manage both Builder Apprentice and... the Lab Assistant!
    • The Lab Assistant helps speed up research upgrades in the Laboratory. If you are used to the Builder's Apprentice, you will know how the Lab Assistant works too. That is, one hour per day!

  • A NEW HERO SOARS INTO HOME VILLAGE: Say hello to Minion Prince: a brand-new flying Hero that specializes in dealing damage from above, and weakening Defenses. Minion Prince is available to all players Town Hall 9 and higher.
  • Minion Prince: Hero Equipment:
    • Henchmen Puppet (Common Equipment): Summons 2 strong tanky minions that attack at melee range.
    • Dark Orb (Common Equipment): Shoots a wave of darkness that applies frost to enemies in a long and wide range, reducing their attack speed and movement speed for a long duration.
  • HERO HALL IS HERE! Now that there are five Heroes, things are getting a little cramped. So, altars were removed and all your Heroic essentials were placed in the Hall!
    • You can choose which Hero will be the attacking Hero and which one will be defending your Home Village.
    • There are up to four (Town Hall 13 and higher) active Hero slots that you can choose from to put either defensive or offensive Heroes in.
    • Assign Heroes to Hero Banners and position them in your Village to customize your Hero Defenses!

How the the new Hero system works:

This section explains the generic systems view of how the Hero System works with more than the classic 4 heroes. Details of each of these parts will be explained in the next sessions

Hero - Singular powerful unit that has its own level progression.
Hero Slots - Capacity for Heroes active at any one time.

  • The number of Heroes a player has unlocked is greater or equal to their number of Hero Slots.
  • Players choose a Hero per Hero Slot to bring to battle in attacks.
    • so Hero Slots work similarly to Troop Housing for Troops.
  • Players choose a Hero per Hero Slot to defend their base.
    • the set of attacking Heroes doesn't need to be the same as the set of defending Heroes.
  • Heroes each have their own level progression and requirements.
  • While a Hero is upgrading they cannot be active in attacks or defenses (aside from defending during wars, legends and FCs).

Hero Hall: How does it work

Instead of the altar system we have today, the Hero Hall will be the central hub to manage your heroes.

  • The Hero Hall is unlocked at TH7 and after building it, it immediately unlocks the Barbarian King.
  • Hero Hall Levels - Every TH level brings in a new Hero Hall level that can:
    • Increase the number of available Hero Slots.
    • Unlock a new Hero.
    • Increase the max level of your Heroes.
  • Upgrading - Players can upgrade as many heroes as they like at the same time in the Hero Hall.
  • Hero Slots - Players may take to an attack the same number of heroes as their number of available Hero Slots.
  • For each TH Level, the maximum Hero Hall level of the previous TH is a requirement for the upgrade. This is a mechanic that currently only exists for the Hero Hall, but it might be extended to include other buildings in the future such as: Barracks, Laboratory, Spell Factory, etc.

Additional note:
Note that any ongoing hero upgrades will be finished automatically when the update drops. Feel free to take advantage of this and start your hero upgrades

Flags

The Hero Hall is equipped with a number of Flags equal to the number of Hero Slots the Hero hall has. Flags are 2x2 village objects similar to buildings that players can place in their village. For each Flag the player can pick one of their Heroes to Patrol and Defend the area, just like heroes do today around their altars.

  • Flags change their banner to show which hero is patrolling them.
  • Flags can be moved around like buildings or obstacles but:
    • They do not count for building destruction.
    • They cannot be attacked/destroyed
    • They can only be placed where buildings can be placed.
    • They block troop deployment.

Grand Warden's Flag

The Grand Warden used to turn into a Statue in his altar. That was always an odd behavior, and when switching to flags it was decided to remove this behavior. He will now stay as a hero and shoot at troops like other heroes do. He will also always defend in ground mode.

Two classic Defenses combine in our latest merged Defense available at th17 TH17, say hello to the Multi-Gear Tower! Create this unique Defense at Town Hall 17 by merging a Geared Up Archer Tower and a Geared Up Cannon.

  • It targets ground and air units.
  • It comes with 2 devastating defensive modes: Long Range and Fast Attack!
  • Targets single units, but packs a punch!
    The result of merging a Geared Up Archer Tower with a Geared Up Cannon, this is a powerful single target damage building that has two modes. Note that both modes target both Ground and Air.
  • Archer Tower Mode: Long Range and Medium Attack Speed.
  • Cannon Mode: Medium Range and High Attack Speed.

Also note that you now must have geared up buildings before being able to proceed to TH18 when it comes out.

A new Siege Machine launches into your Village!

Watch your head! A new Siege Machine is throwing Troop loaded barrels into battle! The Troop Launcher is a new immobile Siege Machine unlocked at Town Hall 16 that launches barrels of Troops at your allies already in battle to support them.

  • The Troop Launcher cannot move but makes up for it with immense throwing power!
  • Each barrel can hold multiple Troops and one Clan Castle Troop.
  • There’s a limited number of barrels depending on its level, so make them count!
    Shoots barrels full of reinforcements at your own troops. The siege machine can shoot up to a certain number of barrels, and when they are all shot the siege destroys itself. Each barrel contains:
  • 1 CC troop (in order from lower to higher housing)
  • 1 Giant
  • Barbarians
  • Archers
  • Wall Breakers
    The quantity of troops, their levels and the number of shots of the siege increases with its level.
    Some details:
  • It uses the healer AI to target our own troops.
  • It loses hp slowly over time.
  • When destroyed for any reason, remaining barrels of troops are not deployed.
  • Unlocked by Siege Workshop level 8, which can be done in th16 TH16.

New Minion Prince Common Hero Equipment: The Metal Pants!

The Minion Prince… has Pants?
That’s right! The Metal Pants are a new fashion forward piece of Common Hero Equipment designed specifically for the MP Minion Prince. It creates a protective barrier that blocks some damage while active.

When used, it gives the Minion Prince a defensive shield reducing damage taken by some percentage for a few seconds. It also restores a significant amount of HP when used and increases max HP.
Unlocked at Blacksmith level 3, at th10 TH10.

New Chief's Helper: The Alchemist!

A new roommate joins the Helper Hut at Town Hall 11! This jolly master of magic uses her unique abilities to transform your resources into different types. She is unlocked at Town Hall 11 for 100 gems gems and can perform one conversion per day. Levelling her up increases her effectiveness.

  • Conversion of resources are instant
  • Resource storage capacity will not overflow during conversions. You may still proceed with a conversion but you will lose resources instead of them overflowing.
  • Levelling up the Alchemist increases the amount of resources the player may convert daily and improves the conversion rate of the resources.

Wall Tools!

Wall upgrading has never been easier! Now you can select multiple Walls of the same level in your Village to upgrade at the same time. Simply select a Wall, and you’ll see an additional button that lets you add Walls of the same level to your upgrade selection.

  • You can add 1 or 10 walls at a time.
  • You can continue to add walls until the upgrade cost exceeds your resource capacity (maximum storage capacity) or there are no more walls of that level to select.

Balance Changes

The February Balance changes announced previously will be a part of this update.
Some balance changes are also being made in Hard Mode:

  • Defending Heroes now have +20% more HP and DPS
  • Defensive buildings now have +20% more DPS
  • Attacking heroes lose 10% HP and DPS
  • Common Equipment is capped at level 15 and Epic Equipment is capped at level 21

Resource Changes

  • Many Gem prices for in-game resources will be decreased with this update, including resource-related Magic Items in the Trader Shop and Clan War League Shop. The aim is to make acquiring resources via Gem purchases more accessible to a wider range of players, and to accommodate the generally higher upgrade costs of later Town Hall levels. Of course, careful consideration has been made to ensure that looting resources in attacks and having real stakes when protecting resources in defenses remain key components of the game.
  • Resource storage buildings and Town Halls will have increased capacities at Town Hall 14 and above (Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir).
  • The upgrade costs and times on some Buildings and Traps that have more than one upgrade level in the same Town Hall have been reduced.

Bug Fixes

  • Clan Capital battles no longer end prematurely after placing a Graveyard Spell and losing your last unit.
  • Fixed incorrect Clan Capital cooldown calculations.
  • The Phoenix's Egg will no longer get stuck in Walls.
  • The Legendary Scenery camera scroll issue when returning from an attack has been fixed.
  • Several notifications issues, including delayed, incomplete, and mismatched notifications have been fixed.
  • Clan Capital Jump Spell visual radius is now accurate.
  • The issue with player profile tab appearing empty after selecting another player's profile has been fixed.
  • The Anti-Artillery achievement now counts when destroying TH17 Town Halls.

Quality Of Life Improvements

  • Removing Obstacles no longer requires a Builder.
  • Forge Jobs can now be cancelled.
  • When enabling Scout Mode in Village Edit Mode, the Tactical Overview will also be enabled.
  • In addition to Skins that can be purchased with Gems, the Choose Skin Screen will now also show Skins that can be bought with Real Money and League Medals.
  • Defending Clan Castle troops for Friendly Challenges and Legend League can now be set freely, and no longer relies on the troops that are currently in your Clan Castle. Defending Troops are subjected to the limits of the donations you can normally receive, and will be the maximum possible level.
  • The training time of Dragons, Minions, Hog Riders, Valkyries Golems, Witches, Lava Hounds, Bowlers, Baby Dragons, Yetis, Ice Golems, Electro Dragons, Inferno Dragons, Super Valkyries, Dragon Riders, Super Witches, Ice Hounds, Super Bowlers, Headhunters, Super Minions, Electro Titans, Apprentice Wardens, Super Hog Riders, Root Riders, Druids, Throwers has been reduced.

Other changes

  • The TH requirement for Archer Queen related Season Challenge tasks has been adjusted from TH9 to TH8.
  • The TH requirement for finding Archer Queen equipment and skins in chests has been adjusted from TH9 to TH8.
  • New Decos, Skins and Equipment have been added to chest rewards.
  • Clan Capital matchmaking for legacy clans who have less Capital upgrades than would be required to reach their CH level has been adjusted. For matchmaking purposes their upgrade count will be floored to the minimum required for their current CH level.
  • Hero equipment can be bought in the League Medal Shop for 750 medals.
    • There is a “new” indicator when a new piece of equipment is added to the shop.
    • Items that players cannot afford aren’t grayed out in the League Medal Shop anymore. Instead the price amount is colored red. Also players not meeting the minimum league limit for an item doesn’t cause graying out.
  • "Goblin King" character render has been updated.
  • A button has been added in settings to access the Chest drop rates info page.
  • A counter has been added that shows the number of remaining Chests (if it’s not the last one) in the Chest opening screen.
  • A haptic feedback has been added to Chest tapping in Chest opening screen.
  • Bloom effect in change skin / skin preview screen on devices with high and medium graphics settings has been added.

Starter Pass

Here's something fresh for some new Clashers! The Starter Pass lets new players purchase a premium side of the Starter Challenge’s reward track that lasts from Town Hall 2 to Town Hall 7. This premium track lets new players earn even more rewards for completing Starter Challenges and helps boost early game progression.

Note! The Starter Pass feature is currently being tested with a limited number of new players. Further implementation of the feature will be informed by initial testing and feedback.

Also if you missed it, the Anti-Artillery achievement now counts when destroying TH17 Town Halls!

The wait is over!

The next update Clash of Clans will never stop players from attacking (in Titan League or below)! This means:

  • No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training time - they are ready instantly!
  • No Hero recovery time or Lives - they are never exhausted from battling!
  • Legend League players will also have no training times, but retain their 8 battles a day limit, for now!

Donations will cost elixir (exact costs are TBD), but 1 gem donations will remain and be useful when donating Super Troops for example.

It is a new era of Clash! You can now play as much as you want. There will be no limits on your ability to attack over and over again, until your builders are busy and your storages are overflowing!

Some FAQs about the Clash Anytime feature

  1. Will the Army Training time changes go live in the next Update?

Yes but will not be in the game exactly on the same date of the Update. The reason for this is because the team need a couple of days to generate clone bases so that players can have bases to attack constantly (please read the Blog Post for more info). Generating clone bases can take up to 2-4 days after the update is live.

  1. What do you mean by extending unlimited attacks to Legends League?

The idea is that in the future, Legend League players would be able to do loot attacks after the 8 daily battles are done.

  1. Will there be any limitation to back-to-back attacks driven by purposefully disconnection?

Your Troops will remain in battle for the duration of the attack! If you disconnect from a battle, your Army will remain engaged in battle until it is complete, which** prevents attacks of the same type until your Army returns from battle**.

  1. What about the game economy? Will these new changes break the loot in the game?

Don't worry! The team considered this, but overall feel its a better player experience to attack whenever you want. There is always the limitation of Builders and Storage Limits, so enjoy and play as much as you want, guilt free! If the team needs to implement limits in the future, they will communicate it long in advance, like they did with this change.

Additionally, there will be a demo video that will explain in detail how everything works, coming later this month.

March 2025 Update Sneak Peek 1

New Pet: Sneezy

Sneezy is a flying pet who stays behind his Hero, not attacking, and spawning tanky air units called Boogers for protection. His favorite target is defenses! Sneezy can be unlocked at Pet House level 11 which unlocks at Town Hall 17. It launches with 10 levels.

When his Hero dies, Sneezy gets (visually) enraged and starts attacking defenses. Here's some more information about Boogers:

  • They target anything
  • They can fly!
  • They're tanky, but they have low DPS.
  • There can only be 2 spawned units at once. More units will spawn every 10 seconds if less than 2 units remain on the map.

New Building Levels for TH17

The Army Camps, the Inferno Towers, the Builder's Huts, the Monolith, the Dark Barracks, and the Pet House, all get a new level at TH17. 75 more wall pieces can now be upgraded to the maximum level at TH17.

The Multi-Gear Tower, the Inferno Towers, the Monolith, and the Builder's Huts get new Supercharge levels at TH17.

Troops

Yeti, Golem, Ice Golem, and Hog Rider get new levels at TH17. This also means that the Super Hog Rider gets a new level!

March Update Sneak Peek 2: New Dark Elixir Troop and Minion Prince Equipment

Furnace

Inspired by Clash Royale’s Furnace, the Furnace is a "troop" that doesn’t move, doesn't attack, and instead it spawns over time a number of Firemites which are tiny quick troops that shoot themselves at the nearest buildings, doing damage over time. It unlocks at TH15, and has 4 levels at launch: 2 at TH15, 1 at TH16, and 1 at TH17. Mechanically this is how they work:

The Furnace

  • The Furnace has no move speed, attack speed, target type, preference, etc., it just “exists”.
  • It spawns Firemites over 60 seconds (~1 Firemite every 3 seconds).
  • It can spawn a maximum number of Firemites. This number and the level of Firemites spawned increases with Furnace level.
  • It damages itself over time. If destroyed before spawning all Firemites, those Firemites are not spawned and are “lost”.
  • If healed, eventually the Furnace will stop spawning Firemites even if it is still alive.
  • It can move very slowly in the village context, for example to go from barrack to army camps.

Firemites

  • It has fast move speed, attack speed, it targets anything, and, it has low hp.
  • When it attacks a building, it shoots itself at the building doing a small instant damage and creating fire under the building.
  • The fire does area damage over time to the building
  • Multiple pools of fire in the same place do not stack up damage.

New Common Equipment - Noble Iron

A new Common passive equipment is added for the Minion Prince. It is unlocked by Blacksmith Level 5 which unlocks at TH12.

  • When the Minion Prince is deployed, his first few attack projectiles deal more damage, fly faster and have longer range (this is similar to the Super Minion's ability)
  • As the equipment is upgraded, the number of boosted shots, their damage and range and his general attack speed in the battle is increased.

Balance Changes

The Housing Space of a few secondary troops was adjusted:

  • Lava Pup, Ice Pup and Lavaloon Pup housing space reduced from 2 to 1
  • Skeleton Trap Air Skeletons housing space reduced from 2 to 1
  • Yetimite and Icemite housing space reduced from 3 to 1
  • Big Boy housing space reduced from 20 to 10
  • Druid Bear form housing space reduced from 16 to 10

Other Changes

  • Builder Gold and Builder Elixir rewards from Builder Base battles have been increased significantly for almost all of the leagues.
  • The Wall Upgrade Tool now allows you to select walls based on your current Wall Ring inventory, rather than just your resource cap.
  • The Wall Upgrade Tool will now allow you to select all 325 walls at the same time.
  • Since Builders no longer spend their precious time removing obstacles, the Villagers have taken over the job (visual change).
  • Notifications for Supercharges completing will now be shown with the proper charge level and text.
  • Changing Grand Warden between Air and Ground mode in challenge levels no longer persists to your home village army.
  • Training units which are larger than total housing space in your army camps is no longer allowed (only applicable to the old training system).
  • The layout for the hero skin previews was updated.
  • Claiming an achievement now comes with a shower of Gems
  • Improved the Troop Launcher projectile trail visuals.
  • Automatic progress is correctly granted for Season Challenge upgrade tasks in case you’re almost maxed out to ensure the task is always completable (or auto-completed in case you have no upgrades remaining).

He’s got the strength of a Superstar, but the temperament of a Barbarian. He’ll rage out with increased power when he loses half of his max health.

  • takes up 50 Housing Space
  • deals splash damage, and targets defenses
  • at 50% HP, it rages up and gains bonus damage and movement speed

The Disarmer : Available at Town Hall 6 and above

She walks right over Walls and targets Defenses with her bat. She needs to be defeated 3 times before she is out!

  • takes up 60 Housing Space
  • is a melee troop, and does a circular attack, while targeting defenses
  • Hot Tag: she jumps Walls and deploys with a rage effect - she does it all!
  • 3-Count: after being defeated, she revives at full health… twice! Defeat her 3 times to finish her off!

K.A.N.E : Available at Town Hall 6 and above

He goes straight for the Town Hall, and pummels anything that gets in his way. When defeated, he is resurrected with a fierce fiery aura!

  • takes up 75 Housing Space
  • He marches towards the Town Hall, destroying anything in his path with brutal splash damage
  • Born in Fire - upon defeat, he revives with max health, forgets about the measly Town Hall, gains massive damage boost, and a fiery damage aura around him!

Balance Changes incoming!

Changes are being made to the following troops:

  • Yeti: Yetimite's housing space is being increased from 1 to 2.
  • K.A.N.E: The DPS of 1st form is being reduced from 800 to 760 at level 15.
  • Giant Giant: The DPS at level 14 and level 15 is being reduced from 940/1020 to 920/980. The HP at level 14 and level 15 is being reduced from 24k/26k to 23.5k/25k.
  • The Disarmer: The attacking Disarmer will no longer target air. Initial rage speed and damage boosts is being halved. The DPS at level 6-12 is being reduced from 225-415 to 220-340. The HP at level 5-12 is being reduced from 3600-7800 to 3500-7000. The defending Disarmer now only respawns twice.

These will go live on Monday 14th April 2025 with a Maintenance Break!

Gold Rush : A New Clan Event! GoldNugget

Gold Rush is a clan-based event where players collect Gold through battles to progress towards milestone rewards for their entire clan. It will last 7 days from <t:1744621200> to <t:1745226000>!

  • Players can collect Gold from various sources. The amount of earned Gold is directly mirrored by a new event currency called "Gold Nuggets". Players can contribute this event currency to their Clan’s progress (instead of their actual Gold).
  • The entire Clan works together to unlock milestone rewards such as chests, event medals & decorations.

Gold Rush was created to increase clan collaboration and activity, giving players a new way to work together and engage socially in the game.

Collecting Gold gold

Players can earn event Gold from the following sources which give an equivalent amount of Gold Nuggets:

  • Multiplayer attacks (including in Legend League, and League Bonus). It counts even when your Gold Storages are full!
  • Gold Collectors
  • The Loot Cart (the re-engagement Loot Cart too)
    Note that gold earned from wars, goblin maps, practice, challenges, clan capital, and builder base, do not count.

Contributing to Clan Progress GoldNugget

After collecting gold, players must manually deposit it into their clan's event progress.

  • Clan Progress is tracked visibly, so everyone can see the contributions made.
  • Players need to participate at least once to earn rewards.
  • Up to 100 contributors in a clan count towards progress.

Event Rewards and Milestones Champ

  • Clans unlock rewards as they reach milestones together. These rewards can be collected as soon as they're unlocked!
  • The event will have 6 milestone rewards with a mix of Event Medals, Chests, and the WWE Title Decoration!
  • Players have 2 days after the event ends to claim rewards before they expire.
    Note that contributing Gold to a clan does NOT lock you to a clan, nor does collecting rewards from a clan. Players cannot get duplicate rewards.

Gold Rush FAQ

Q: Do I need to contribute a certain amount to claim rewards?
A: No, just one contribution is enough to be eligible for all unlocked Clan rewards.

Q: What happens if I change clans?
A: Players can jump between clans, they can contribute to multiple clans (as long as the clan hasn't reached the contributor cap), and can claim rewards from multiple clans as long as they have contributed (but they can't claim duplicate rewards).

Q: What happens if my Gold Storages are full?
A: Gold Nuggets from attacks will still be collected, even if storages are full. However, Gold Nuggets from collectors and loot carts will not be collected.

Q: Can I collect Gold Nuggets from Clan Wars, Capital Raids, or Builder Base?
A: No, only gold from Multiplayer Battles, Gold Collectors, and Loot Carts will count.

Q: Is there a leaderboard for individual player contributions?
A: Yes! An internal clan leaderboard tracks individual contributions. There are no extra rewards for this, but top contributors may receive special visual indicators on the leaderboard.

Q: What happens if my clan finishes all milestones early?
A: Players can still contribute to go up in leaderboard rankings or switch to help another clan reach milestones!

Q: Can a player contribute to more than one clan during this event?
A: Yes, as long as the clan hasn't reached their contributor cap (100 contributors).

Q: If I contribute to multiple clans, will I be able to claim rewards from each clan, or only the last clan I was a part of?
A: Players can claim rewards from the clan they're currently a member of, if they have contributed to the event. However they are only able to claim each reward once even if they change clans. Note that this means you must be a part of the clan you contributed to, to be able to claim rewards.

Q: How does the 100 contributor cap work?
A: Only 50 players can be in a clan at once, but more than 50 can contribute over time, as long as the total doesn't exceed 100 unique contributors.

Q: If a player contributes to a clan, but then gets kicked or leaves the clan before the event ends, are they still eligible to claim rewards that the clan unlocks?
A: No, they need to be a part of the clan to claim any rewards. However players can claim rewards as soon as the clan earns them, they don't need to wait until the end of the event. Players can also claim rewards from any other clan before the event ends.

Q: What happens if a player contributes to Clan A, switches to Clan B, contributes again — then goes back to Clan A before the event ends?
A: They can claim rewards from both clans, but can’t claim duplicate rewards.

Dark Deal Medal Event

The Dark Deal Medal Event lasts from <t:1749542400> through <t:1751356800>. The trader's event tab will be available for 2 extra days after that. Here are the details:
In this town, you’ve got to shake some shady hands to make it big! Make a Dark Deal with the Grand Godfather in this unique Medal Event and unleash Debt Collector temporary Troops in battle! The Dark Deal Medal Event is available to players Town Hall 6 and above!

New Temporary Troop : Debt Collector

These are Dark Days, but for this guy, the future is golden! Welcome the crooked underlings of the Grand Godfather to your army — the Debt Collectors!

  • They loot twice as much resources as regular Goblins
  • They’ve got a talent for cracking Vaults… oh yes, Storage Vaults! Gold and Elixir Storages have been swapped for airtight vaults.
  • 10 of these Debt Collectors will be added to your army by default throughout the Medal Event!
  • Additional loot stolen is not removed from enemy storages, instead, it is generated by the Debt Collectors themselves.

New Minion Prince Epic Equipment : Dark Crown

This powerful old trinket was found in an old evidence locker! The Dark Crown boosts the MP Minion Prince's health and power a total of 3 times when friendly troops are defeated. Here are the details:

  • When friendly troops die, the Minion Prince’s current HP, DPS and size increase!
    • Power increase happens in 3 steps after the required amount of Housing Space of friendly troops has died: 60, 120, 180.
    • Units with no housing space, siege machines, cloned units, enemy units, and the Minion Prince himself do not count towards the ability. Everything else does!
  • Upgrading the equipment gives more HP and DPS from the ability, and upgrades also increase his base HP and general attack speed.

New Spell: Ice Block iceblock

The Ice Block spell freezes your own troops and heroes, they won't move or attack while under the spell's effect, but they also only take very little damage. Here are the details:

  • It unlocks at Dark Spell Factory Level 7 which is available at Town Hall 14
  • It takes up 1 housing space
  • It releases with 5 levels - 2 levels at TH14, and 1 level each at TH15, TH16, and TH17
  • Each upgrade gives more protection from incoming damage.

New Levels

With another update, comes another slew of stuff that gets even more awesome!

th17 Town Hall 17

  • The Balloon, the Rocket Balloon, and the Druid get a new level!
  • Frosty gets 5 more levels.
  • All remaining wall pieces can now be upgraded to level 18.

th16 Town Hall 16

  • The Lava Hound, and the Ice Hound get a new level.

th15 Town Hall 15

  • The Battle Blimp gets a new level.

Balance Changes

  • The Ice Hounds ate some snow, and now their freeze effect duration is consistent across all levels. More specifically, the formula to calculate how long the freeze effect lasts at the edges of the freeze effect area has been made consistent.
  • The Level 5 Ice Hound's freeze time when destroyed has been increased from 3.5 seconds to 3.75 seconds.
  • The GW Grand Warden's Eternal Tome rework which was announced before, will be a part of this update
    • Total duration has been increased by 0.2 seconds at all levels.
    • Damage Immunity effect ends 1 second after exiting the Grand Warden's aura
    • Damage Immunity is also given to units who enter the Grand Warden's aura after activation
  • Early game troops are eager to prove themselves to their Chief! Several buildings and troops at lower town hall levels have had their stats adjusted to make early game battles faster-paced and more fun!

Other Changes

  • Polish language support has been added to the game.
  • 2v2 and 3v3 friendly wars options are now available.
  • The Grand Warden's Fireball equipment, and the Tornado Trap's VFX were updated.
  • The hero information screen now no longer shows regeneration time.
  • Spell Factories and Workshops will now play their animations if the village owner has the relevant type in their army.

QOL changes

  • You can now change a Hero's skin from the Training Screen by tapping them and selecting the clothes hangar icon.
  • You can now rotate Heroes from the Training Screen, just like in the Hero Hall!
  • You can now rearrange Heroes in your Training lineup by holding and dragging them.
  • You can now rearrange Troops or Spells in your lineup by holding and dragging them, they will appear in the same order in battles!
  • Alerts and warnings have been updated to give more information.
  • The Elixir Cart Storage in the Builder Base now accommodates larger attack rewards.
  • Scenery Offers in the Trader can now display previews, and they are no longer offered if you already own the Scenery.

New Feature: Cookbook

A third tab has appeared on the Troop Training Screen: The Army Recipe Cookbook!

  • This tab contains Starter Armies & Featured Armies that a player can use or save to their own Recipes.
  • Starter Armies are simple Recipes made with regular Troops/Spells (no Super Troops) and common Equipment. Use these to try out new strategies!
  • Featured or Creator Armies are a bit more complex and may contain anything in the game. These Featured Armies are devastating, but only available for a limited time!
  • Players will only see Recipes for their current Town Hall - Featured and Creator Armies will have multiple versions for each Town Hall!
  • At launch, Featured & Creator Armies will only be shown to TH10 and above, but that could change in the future!
  • The Cookbook unlocks at Town Hall 4, and will have only Starter Armies until TH10.

Crafted Defenses

More choice, more upgrades, more ways to Clash. Don’t let the Builder have all the fun! For the first time ever, YOU get to choose how to upgrade a new temporary Defense type — Crafted Defenses! Crafted Defenses are here to spark the curiosity and creativity of Chiefs at the last Town Hall level. Up to 3 Crafted Defenses are available to build throughout a Crafting Phase. Let’s learn all about them:

  • Build and upgrade up to 3 temporary Crafted Defenses on the Crafting Station (Town Hall 17).
  • Only 1 Crafted Defense can be active at any given time, but you can switch between them anytime!
  • Up to 3 Crafted Defenses are available to build during a Crafting Phase, which will typically last about 3 months. New Crafted Defenses will take their place with the next phase.
  • Each Crafted Defense has 3 upgradeable Modules. Choose the Modules you’d like to upgrade and make a Crafted Defense that’s truly your own!
  • New Crafting Phases will bring new Crafted Defenses! Experiment with new Defenses as they turn up and you might just find a new favorite.
  • Each Module will start at level 1, and will have 9 levels, which means a total of 27 levels per Crafted Defense and 10 per module.

The first 3 Crafted Defenses will be:

  • The Hook Tower: The reel deal! The Hook Tower pulls attackers in and stuns them! Sadly, Siege Machines are a bit too heavy.
  • The Flame Spinner: An endless whirlwind of the hot stuff! Spins right round and emits flames to damage nearby attackers.
  • The Crusher Mortar: What goes up, must crush down! Launches giant mortars to crush nearby foes!

Seasons

A season lasts 3 months which means there will be 4 seasons a year. With every season reset, the player starts with a fresh set of archetypes!

When a season starts, one of two things will happen:

  1. If you're eligible for the season, the platform will now give you the option to select 1 of the 3 defensive buildings. There will also be a Season Start introduction tutorial.
  2. If you are not eligible for the season, the platform is removed from your base and all of your layouts.

Modules

Each building consists of 3 modules:

  • Hitpoints
  • Attribute 1 (usually DPS, but can be something else)
  • Attribute 2 (Examples: Range, Attack Speed, Special Effect)

Each defense building type has separate module upgrade levels. Players can upgrade any or all of their defense building types. One builder can be upgrading one defense type at once so players can have up to 3 builders working on the Seasonal Defense at once. In order to start an upgrade you need to select one of the modules in one of the building types that is not currently being upgraded. Here's some more details:

  • Each module will have 9 upgrade levels. This might change for future seasons.
  • Module upgrade levels may be capped by Town Hall levels (in case of events available for multiple THs)
  • The upgrade time per module level can be different, for example early levels are faster and later levels take more time
  • The upgrade resource can be different for different modules, but all levels for that module cost the same resource
  • The number of upgrade levels per module can be different for different buildings but for the first season, they will all be 9 levels
  • The building's visual appearance may change based on the total number of module upgrades. This way attackers can easily see roughly how strong the defense is. The current plan is to have 4 visual levels for each building. They will be at the level thresholds of 0-8, 9-17, 18-26, 30.

Shop Changes

  • The "Info" button in the Shop links to an article on our Self Help portal that details the prices/value of in-game offers.
  • The Shop Button will now notify players when a Special Offer is available.

Amazon Deprecation

Shop offers are being removed from the game if you downloaded Clash of Clans from the Amazon Appstore. This is because future Clash of Clans updates will not come to the Amazon Appstore.

If you're an Amazon player, connect your account to Supercell ID to not lose progress and continue playing!

SCID Guest Accounts

Players without a Supercell ID account will receive a Supercell ID Guest account.

  • New player Supercell ID Guest Accounts will be created after the game tutorial is completed.
  • Existing players without a Supercell ID Account will receive a Supercell ID Guest Account when logging in.
  • A Supercell ID Guest Account can be promoted to a full Supercell ID Account.
  • A Supercell ID Guest account can be migrated to an existing Supecell ID Account.
  • Achievements and rewards based on connecting your account to Supercell ID will only unlock if it is connected to a full Supercell ID Account.

  • Up to 100 contributors in a clan count towards progress.
  • There will be a boost period during the event! At a certain time during the event, the amount of Pop Elixir you earn for collecting Dark Elixir will be boosted, which means you will receive greater than a 1:1 conversion of Dark Elixir to Pop Elixir. Keep an eye out during the event to see when the boost is active!

Event Rewards and Milestones

  • Clans unlock rewards as they reach milestones together. These rewards can be collected as soon as they're unlocked!,
  • The event will have 6 milestone rewards with a mix of Event Medals, Chests, and the Clash-a-Rama Scenery
  • Players have 2 days after the event ends to claim rewards before they expire.
    Note that contributing Dark Elixir to a clan does NOT lock you to a clan, nor does collecting rewards from a clan. Players cannot get duplicate rewards.

Unlimited Heroes is back!

For the duration of the Hero Rush event (<t:1755072000> to <t:1755676800>), you can use your heroes while they're upgrading! Make sure you get some hero upgrades done Chief!

Upcoming Changes to Spring Traps and TH Weapon Level Removal

Hello Chief! We want to give you a heads-up that in an upcoming Update, we plan on doing some important changes:

Spring Trap Rework

A rework is coming to Spring Traps for all Town Hall levels. Here are the details below:

  • Instead of area of effect, Spring Traps will hit only 1 Troop, the one with highest Housing Space in the area.
  • If the Troop's Housing Space is larger than the Spring Trap’s capacity, it does high damage to the troop. If the troop is killed by this damage it is ejected, if not it throws the troop vertically, preventing them from moving and attacking for a short period of time.
  • If the Troop’s Housing Space is equal to or lower than the Spring Trap’s capacity, it will eject the Troop.
  • We will also add 7 more levels to Spring Traps (from level 6 to level 12) starting from Town Hall 11.
  • The same rework has been applied to Builder Base Spring Traps, and level 5 has been added.

The main reasons are that we observe generally there is a lot of splash damage and little single target damage (especially in higher Town Halls), and we saw this rework as an opportunity to bring better balance to the defence capabilities, as well as fix some previous issues with Spring Traps that made it too strong against some attacks and useless against others. Now they will always at least do some damage. And as a plus, we can now always give them more levels to make them stronger with each Town Hall.

Town Hall Weapon level removal!

Additionally, in the upcoming Update, we will be removing Town Hall Weapon Levels from Town Hall Levels 12, 13, 14 and 15.
These levels are slowing down midgame progression and aren't as meaningful upgrades, so as a way to increase progression speed we want to remove them.
Don’t worry, the upgrades are gone, but your Town Hall Weapon will still be there after the update. The weapon will now just have the stats of a previously maxed-out Town Hall Weapon, just like how the Town Hall 16 Weapon currently works. Also:

  • The weapons will have the stats of the maximum level previously possible.
  • Unfortunately, any ongoing Town Hall Weapon Level upgrade will be cancelled, and any resources used in the upgrade will be lost. If you're currently at Town Hall 12, 13, 14, or 15, we recommend that you do not upgrade your Town Hall Weapon Level. Just hang tight, and when the update arrives in a couple of weeks, your Town Hall Weapon will be at max-power regardless of its previous level!

Battle and Ranked modes are coming to Clash!

The following is from the Blog Post announcement ingame.

Big things are coming to Clash in the next update, and we want to give you a heads-up about them so you can start preparing now!

But first, a quick note about WHY we are making these changes…

We work to make the best version of Clash that will be fun for years to come for as many players as possible. We value your feedback, and we have been listening! This year, we made it our goal to remove frictions (big and small!) that create frustrations and prevent players from enjoying Clash, and to give players more interesting choices, for example:

  • Removing Army training times and Hero healing time.
  • Giving players Army recipes so that it's easier to try new attack strategies.
  • Giving players flexibility with their resources by using the Alchemist and doing unlimited attacks.
  • Reducing the in-game Gem cost for resources and many resource-related Magic Items.
  • Allowing players to remove obstacles without needing a free Builder.
  • Improving the way you upgrade Walls.

The next update will bring the biggest change to matchmaking ever, and to be honest, we might not get everything right in the first iteration. But rather than making you wait, we want to get these changes to you sooner and continue to improve based on your feedback, so keep it coming!

More ways to play Clash! More ways to earn rewards!

Players can already Clash Anytime, and now you will be able to Clash any way you want! Multiplayer Battles will be split into two different battle types: Battles and Ranked Battles.

What problems are we trying to tackle by splitting multiplayer battles into two different modes?

  • Player motivations are diverse; it’s hard to please everyone with one simplified matchmaking system. In this new era of Clash we want you to have more ways to enjoy battling!
  • Matchmaking can feel inconsistent and engagement can be punishing! Today, playing a lot of battles can lead to forced League promotion and more difficulty for casual players. Trophy dropping can be needed to find fun/rewarding battles or to avoid entering Legend League.
  • There is no permanent farming mode for our Legend League, making it hard for competitive players to get enough loot and participate in some events.
  • The barrier to enter Legend League is too high (it takes too long to hit the competitive scene in Clash).

What are the new types of Multiplayer Battles that will be available?

Type 1: Battles

  • Matchmaking will be determined by your current Town Hall level, with some variance that will be shared in more detail in a later communication.
  • Unlimited battles are available for all players, including those in Legend League
  • Simplified Shield rules (more on that later)

Type 2: Ranked Battles

  • Matchmaking will be determined by the player’s progression through the League system
  • Battles (and defenses) are limited, so they really matter!
  • Only the best players advance to the highest Leagues, which have battle modifiers making them even more competitive
  • Leagues will be reworked and new tiers will be added

How does the new League System Work?

  • Ranked Battles unlock for all players in Town Hall 7
  • The format of the new League System was designed to mirror a smaller-scale version of Legend League, a system that our most competitive players have enjoyed for years and now all players will experience.
  • Player’s League Bonus and Star bonus are based on their current League and Town Hall level, and will be applied in all multiplayer battles: Battles and Ranked Battles, and both modes will contribute to the Star Bonus progress
  • Much more detailed information to come about how this system works - but we want you to know that we have spent a lot of time thinking about how to build a truly competitive format below Legend League that will welcome a broad audience of Clash players.

What do you need to know to prepare for these changes?

  • In the future, Trophies will only be earned/lost in Ranked Battles, and they will reset after each League Tournament (similar to how Legend League works today). But your current Trophy score in-game still matters A LOT:

    • All active players will be migrated from the current League system to the new League System based on their Town Hall level and Trophy score at the point of the migration!
    • Your highest Trophy score in the current League system will be recorded forever in your player profile after the update, so now is the time to push for your best!
    • Unranked players, including players who have never participated in a League Tournament, will be initially seeded into the League that better suits their TH level.
  • Battle Mode: Everyone can farm, but everyone is open to getting looted!

    • Legend League players will want to have a good layout active to protect their loot when the update goes live, so show bases might not be a good idea anymore. We want to find a place in the game for them in the future, so more news regarding this at a later time.
    • We will increase loot available in Legend League battles to compensate for the new farming attacks.
  • The FINAL Legend League season (but not really)

    • This Legend League season, which started on August 25th, will be the final Legend League season under the old League System
    • Since your trophy score in the September season will determine your placement in the new League system, we decided to extend the September season to October 6th.
    • Fair play checks will be done before the migration
    • When the new League system goes live, players will be seeded into the new system based on their Rank - so how you perform this season will matter! Only the best will make the cut to the new Legend League. That said, expect your League rank to change when the migration happens
    • The new Legend League will have battle modifiers!
  • Battle Modifiers

    • The highest Leagues in Ranked mode will have difficulty modifiers
    • Exact numbers will be announced soon
  • Achievements Changes

    • New achievements are being introduced in the new system, and if you haven’t completed the current League All-Star Achievement (Hitting Crystal / Master / Champion League), this is your chance to check them out and gather lots of free Gems while you still have time!

Town Hall 18 Sneak Peek 1

Guardians

The Town Hall Weapon for TH18 is not really a weapon, it’s instead the new feature: Guardians!

  • Guardians only defend and cannot be taken on attacks.
  • Only one Guardian can defend at a time.
  • Guardians can be upgraded in their own special menu located in the TH, and the upgrades require a Builder.
    • Guardians cannot defend while upgrading in normal attacks. They will however, defend in Wars and Ranked Battles even if upgrading.
  • Players can choose between the two Guardians, "Longshot" and "Smasher", via a button when the Town Hall is selected.
  • Tapping on the Guardian when viewing your village shows the Guardian’s patrol route.

Smasher : A smashing specialist!

A melee Guardian that targets Ground and Air, and does splash damage

  • When defeated it drops a Rage into the battlefield
  • And it becomes enraged if the Town Hall is destroyed

Longshot : Long Range Splash Damage!

A ranged Guardian that targets Ground and Air, does splash damage, and explodes when defeated.

Meteor Golem

The Meteor Golem that was introduced as a temporary troop in October 2025, is now a permanent troop that unlocks with a barracks upgrade at TH17!

  • Throws Meteormites over walls for up close damage
  • It has 3 upgrade levels, 2 of which are at TH17 and one more at TH18

Merged Defense : Super Wizard Tower

Merge two Wizard Towers at Town Hall 18 to create a Super Wizard Tower. The Wizard at the top gets promoted to a Super Wizard, and his attacks can chain up to 15 nearby enemies!

  • It attacks one troop, and the attack can chain up to 15 other nearby troops!
  • The attack range is 8 tiles (the regular Wizard Tower has an attack range of 7 tiles)
  • Has 2 upgrade levels at TH18

Economy Changes

  • More upgrade times and resource costs were reduced for TH16 and TH17 upgrades

CWL Shop Changes

  • The cost of the Resource potion will increase from 5 CWL medals to 10 CWL medals.

Gameplay Changes

  • The Minion Prince's HP has been reduced by 1000 and all of his equipments have received additional 500 HP. This shift was done to balance the defensive Minion Prince.
  • Level 7 and above clans can now donate 4 spells at once!
  • Giant Arrow level 18 damage has been buffed from 1950 to 2000 (so it can now destroy Supercharged TH18 Air Defenses)
  • Heal spell has been buffed, it now lasts 300ms longer than before. The Heal spell at TH17 now does more healing per second.
  • The Giant, the Minion, the Bowler, the Super Giant, the Electro Dragon, the Dragon Rider, the Super Bowler, the Super Minion, and the Thrower were buffed.

Townhall 18 Update Sneak Peek 2

New TH18 Defense: Revenge Tower

As other buildings fall, the Revenge tower gets stronger, and angrier, seeking proportionate revenge!

  • When no buildings are destroyed, the Revenge Tower doesn't engage.
  • At 5 buildings destroyed, it does Single Target, high damage but slow attacks!
  • At 20 buildings destroyed, the attack speed increases and attacks bounce to a second target
  • At 40 buildings destroyed, the attack speed increases even further and attacks now bounce to three targets

Totem Spell

When used, it spawns a big tanky Totem where the spell was deployed. Totems soak up damage from ground and air targeting defenses, so your other troops can push the attack unimpeded!
Also, when the spell hits, buildings and defensive troops in the area are lightly damaged and stunned for a short duration (this is so that the defenses can retarget on to the Totem).

  • The Totem Spell unlocks at TH16, with a new Spell Factory level
  • It will have 4 levels, 2 at TH16, and 1 each at TH17 and TH18
  • The totem is counted as a troop, and will last until killed.
  • The area of damage/stun is 6 tiles.
  • Totems do not trigger Rage or Poison Spell Towers

Crafted Defenses

⚠️ Note: These will not go live on update day, but instead a few days later!

  • TH17s are no longer eligible for this Crafted Defenses season. Any ongoing upgrades will be refunded.
  • This crafted defenses season will last 4 months.

Crafted Defense : Hero Bell

  • Buffs defensive heroes' HP and DPS (it does not buff the Guardians). The building itself does not attack!
  • When the building is destroyed, the buffs will be removed.
  • Upgrade Modules: Building HP, Hero HP, and Hero DPS

Crafted Defense : Light Beam

  • Single target damage, targets ground and air
  • Shoots projectiles which lose power the longer they have to travel (does more damage if target is close, and less damage if the target is far away)
  • Upgrade modules: Building HP, Damage per hit, and Attack cooldown

Crafted Defense : Bomb Hive

  • Does splash damage that targets both ground and air
  • Shoots bombs to predetermined directions.
  • The bombs will travel until they hit a unit or reach their max range!

Fancy Shop and Sparky Stones

In the new Fancy shop, players can spend their Sparky Stones on unique cosmetics. You will only see the Fancy Shop if you can access Supercharges or Crafted Defenses.

How do you earn these Sparky Stones?

  • Any supercharge upgrade gets you 10 sparky stones each
  • Any Crafted Defense module upgrades gets you 8 sparky stones each
  • Any supercharges or crafted defense module upgrades you've done before the update will also give you sparky stones! Yes, even the Supercharges that were lost previously!

What can I buy in the Fancy Shop?

At launch, players can buy:

  • 1x Meteor Builder Skin
  • 1x Exclusive Home Village Decoration
  • “Charge Effect” to any decoration of their choice
    • You can buy this one multiple times.
    • You cannot currently remove this effect from decorations.

Ranked Improvement:

  • Temporary Troops are now banned in Ranked Battles, Clan Wars Battles and CWL Battles.
  • If a player is inactive in Ranked (“inactive” is not signing up or signing up and not doing any battles) for one tournament, they will now maintain their previous League status and bonuses for that week of in activity. In order to maintain their same League ranking for the following week they must sign up for the following week’s tournament before the START of the following week’s tournament (which is Tuesday morning at 5am UTC).
  • Matchmaking within a weekly tournament group will now be less predictable.
  • Some changes were made to the promotion and demotion percentages

General Improvements

  • Display info screen for the Skeletons spawned from Skeleton Trap
  • Display Builder Base background in skin selection screen for Builder Base heroes
  • Your own attacks no longer increment the game log message count in Home Village
  • The inbox in game log has a new layout
  • Revenge battles have a dedicated battle end screen

Unlocking the Ice Hound means you can have up to three active Super Troops during the event and these can be used to counter the change in battle mode attacks - Poison Aura emitting from Gold Storages!

New Clan Rush Event

-# Assemble your Clan, the Clan Rush Event is back! This time, you’ll be earning stars through battles and contributing Star Ingots!
This Clan Rush is a clan-based event where players collect stars through battles, to progress towards milestone rewards for their entire clan! It will last 7 days from <t:1765526400> to <t:1766131200> and is available to players TH7 and above!

  • Players can collect Stars from Home Village, Clan War, and Single Player battles. The amount of earned stars is directly mirrored by a new currency called Star Ingots. Players can contribute this currency to their Clan's progress.
  • The entire Clan works together to unlock milestone rewards such as chests, event medals & the 3x3 Battleaxe Decoration.

Collecting Stars

Players can earn Star Ingots by collecting stars from

  • Single Player attacks (Goblin Maps)
  • Multiplayer Battles (Revenge, and Ranked battles as well)
  • And Clan Wars!
    Stars from Clan Capital or Builder Base, or Friendly Challenges, do not count.

Contributing to Clan Progress

After collecting stars, players must manually deposit it into their clan's event progress.

  • Clan Progress is tracked visibly, so everyone can see the contributions made.
  • Players need to participate at least once to earn rewards.
  • Up to 100 contributors in a clan count towards progress.

There will be a boost period during the event!

  • On December 14th, the number of Star Ingots you earn per Star will be boosted. This boost will continue to increase as the event reaches last day
  • During the boost period the Star Ingots you earn will be greater than a 1:1 ratio
  • This is a great time to grind those Stars and rush that reward track!

  • Clans unlock rewards as they reach milestones together. These rewards can be collected as soon as they're unlocked!

Upcoming changes to Ranked Mode

We’ve Been Listening, Chief

With the release of Ranked Mode and Town Hall 18, we’ve introduced some of the biggest changes Clash has seen in years.

While many of you have enjoyed the added flexibility and competitive edge, we’ve also heard from a number of you that some parts of the experience, especially at higher leagues, have started to feel more demanding or discouraging than fun.

We want to acknowledge that feedback and share how we’re responding.

Adjusting Ranked for a Better Experience

Ranked was designed to give you more freedom in when and how intensely you want to play. But we know we haven’t hit the sweet spot for everyone yet, particularly around progression pacing and difficulty at the top.

Here are the first changes coming in the next update to help address that:

  • Fixing the bug where some players are incorrectly seeing demotion warnings
  • Increasing promotion/demotion percentages in certain leagues to keep things moving
  • Reducing the required battle count in the highest leagues to help prevent burnout
  • Adjusting difficulty modifiers based on community feedback

We’re grateful for all the input we’ve received and will keep working on improving the Ranked Mode with your feedback!

Evolving Meta at TH18

We’ve also heard feedback about the sudden shift in viable strategies at TH18.

Some popular TH17 strategies no longer perform the same way on TH18, and that’s partly due to mechanical changes (like the Town Hall no longer being a defensive building), and some due to missing new troop levels for that Town Hall.

We want to be clear: our goal isn’t for every strategy to work forever. As you upgrade, new content should feel exciting and powerful, and we’ve seen that with content like Meteor Golem and Totem Spell! That said, we always aim to make the transition smoother and more rewarding. Your feedback from this Town Hall update is already helping us think on different approaches for the next one.

These updates are part of an ongoing effort to make Clash the most fun and rewarding it can be, no matter how you play.
We’ll continue learning, listening, and adjusting as we go. Whether you're pushing in Ranked, testing new armies, or just upgrading your Village, we want to make sure you're having a good time doing it.

Big Changes are coming to the Gold Pass!

The Season Pass has been part of Clash since 2018. It's been improved over the years, but at its core, it’s looked and played the same for a long time, however this is being changed up, starting next season!

The Gold Pass has been reworked from the ground up to make it feel more modern, more rewarding to play through, and better balanced for both Silver and Gold Pass players. This includes new features, a new progression system, and some changes to how rewards appear on the track.

A brand new Gold Pass experience

The entire Gold Pass interface has been refreshed! It includes :

  • A new full-screen layout
  • Bigger icons and clearer reward visibility
  • A cleaner, more modern flow that makes progression easier to understand.

Everything should feel faster, clearer, and more satisfying to use!

New Task System : Daily Tasks!

How you earn Season Points has been completely reworked.

The old challenge-style system has been replaced with a simpler daily Task setup. Each day, there are 8 always-available tasks focused on normal gameplay. They don’t expire, and they’re easy to understand at a glance (even if you're a TH7 level player still using Giants with Balloons on your attacks!)

Completing tasks earns stamps. Collect enough stamps to complete a Stamp Card, and you’ll earn bonus Season Points.

You start the season with multiple Stamp Cards, and you earn a new one each day. Cards stack, so if you miss a day, you’re not falling behind as you can always catch up later!

Gold Pass players earn extra bonus points when completing Stamp Cards, and in the final week of the season, you’ll earn even more points per stamp and per completed card. This helps the end of the season feel faster and more rewarding, especially for more casual players.

Because points are now earned more evenly throughout the season, the bonus for purchasing the Gold Pass consecutively has been removed. Progression should now feel smoother and more consistent for everyone.

Introducing: Choice Nodes

At certain points on the track, you’ll now be able to choose between two rewards instead of being locked into just one. These choices are designed to help you line up rewards with your current Town Hall level & upgrade plans, and ultimately give you the option to choose what you like best!
Examples include choosing between:

  • Two Hero skins, either the current season’s skin or a returning classic
  • A Rune of Gold or a Rune of Elixir (yes..twice!)
  • A Book of Fighting or a Book of Spells (also… twice!)

Higher Town Halls unlock more meaningful choices, while lower Town Halls only get rewards that make sense for their progression. If you’re close to upgrading your Town Hall, doing so before the March season starts will unlock better value right away!

Choice Nodes are all about planning and flexibility. You still know exactly what you’re getting, you just get to decide which option fits your Village best.

Note: If a Choice Node isn’t claimed before the season ends, it will default to the first option shown, or convert to gems if your inventory is full, just like existing unclaimed rewards.

Hoggy Bank: A Bigger and Better Piggy Bank

In tribute to the Hog Rider’s…Hog?! The Season Bank has been reworked into the Hoggy Bank!

It now starts at its maximum size right away, no more size upgrades or income multipliers. Instead, the Gold Pass applies a 5x payout multiplier when you claim it at the end of the season.

This means Silver Track players can earn up to 8M Gold and Elixir, and 2M Builder Gold and Builder Elixir, while Gold Pass players can earn up to 40M Gold and Elixir and 10M Builder Gold and Builder Elixir

The Hoggy Bank now scales with Town Hall level. For lower Town Halls, the total will be lower than before, while higher Town Halls will see higher payouts. This keeps rewards fair and manageable across all stages of progression.

Improvements to Existing Gold Pass Perks

  • You can now use 1-Gem Donations on yourself, making farming and setup much smoother. Whether you’re playing Legend League or running late for your CWL attack, you don't have to wait for a clanmate to get online or use those precious Raid Medals!
  • Additionally, now when earning a Magic Item while your storage is full, you have the option to use the item immediately (or sell it).
  • Also, up to three more Shovels of Obstacles have been added this season!

Chests are now in the Silver Track!

Chests will now appear directly on the Silver track, and replace most of the Potions that used to be guaranteed rewards. Each Chest contains a random reward, which can include things like Ores, cosmetics, or other bonus items!

We know it feels like it’s not a clear 1:1 trade off, but we think it is better for the players because of the opportunity to get even better rewards. F2P players deserve to get Books and Skins too, and Chests are the best way to deliver that excitement!

WHY THIS SPLIT MATTERS

Choice Nodes improve your ability to control and plan around your Village’s progression while Chests are about surprising you, where you could win something that might’ve been really hard to get in another part of the game.

New Gold Pass feature: The Prospector (TH10+)

  • A NEW Character is coming to our Villages! Gold Pass players will unlock access to a new Village Helper "The Prospector", once they reach 2400 Season Points!
  • The Prospector converts Ores into other kinds of Ores on a regular cooldown, just like the Alchemist you already know and love!
  • There’s no gem cost, no upgrades, and no bonuses: just simple, predictable conversions every 23 hours.
  • Players below Town Hall 10 can avail a Resource Potion instead.

Progression and Scaled Rewards

Progression through the Gold Pass is now more even across the season. Because tasks arrive daily instead of all at once, perks unlock at a steadier pace. Some players may unlock certain boosts slightly later than before, but casual players should find it easier to keep up.

All rewards on the Season Pass scale based on your Town Hall and Builder Hall levels at the start of the season. This includes resource rewards, Chest contents, and the Hoggy Bank.

Scaling is locked in when the season starts, so upgrading your Town Hall mid-season won’t change the rewards on that track. If you’re close to upgrading, doing so before the season begins will give you better value throughout the month, so take that into account before February season ends!

A Gold Pass that evolves with Clash

This rework is about making the Gold Pass feel more modern, more engaging, and better aligned with how players actually play Clash today: whether you’re free-to-play, a Gold Pass Player, or somewhere in between.

The new Gold Pass goes live next season on March 1st. We wanted to share these changes early so you can see what’s coming and prepare ahead of time.

Ranked Mode Changes

Several improvements have been made to Ranked battles:

  • Anti-spam protection added: Ranked battles now follow the same rules as regular attacks, you must finish a battle before starting a new one
  • Fixed incorrect demotion warnings that appeared for some players
  • The required Battle count in some Leagues has been reduced.
  • Promotion and Demotion zones in various Leagues have been updated to better match player progression.

Another Fancy Shop Item

A new decoration will be added to the Fancy Shop, when the next Crafted Defense season starts on April 1st!

Other Changes and Bug Fixes

This update also includes a large number of balance tweaks, improvements, and bug fixes. Here are some of the highlights:

  • The Unbreakable achievement now requires 500 defenses, instead of 5,000.
  • CWL now supports 5v5 wars! Bigger Wars will yield better bonuses!
    • The default bonus counts have doubled for 30v30 wars. For example, 30v30 CWL in Masters League will now have 6 bonuses by default.
    • Every war win still gives an extra bonus count for all CWL war sizes.
    • 5v5 war is not available for Champions League
    • The default bonus count for 5v5 CWLs for Masters League is 1. For all leagues below Masters League, the default bonus count is 0.
    • In a 5v5 CWL war, the maximum number of available bonuses is 5. For example if the clan wins > 5 wars, bonus medals can still only be distributed to 5 members.
  • Poison will now affect Guardians, they take full damage but only 70% of the Movement and Attack Speed debuff.
  • Hero Potion and Mighty Morsel now apply only to attacks and not defense
  • The "Add Effect" option will no longer show on decorations for those who don't have the Fancy Shop yet
  • The combat logic for underground units was reworked. Diggy and Miners will now act more consistently when fighting a horde of Skeletons
  • The Info-screen for geared up defenses (Cannon, Archer Tower, Mortar) now finally shows correct information. The damage calculation on the info screen has always been off, and the values now displayed may seem like a buff but they actually deal the same damage that they always have.
  • The geared up Mortar’s attack speed was fixed so that it doesn’t fire with zero delay anymore.
  • The Longshot attack’s splash damage was fixed to hit either ground or air, depending on if the target was ground or air, like most other units
  • Visibility of the special effects on decos and shoveled obstacles can now be toggled on or off
  • The profile icons of troops, heroes, spells, sieges, pets, and guardians, are now clickable for locked items, and will show why they are locked
  • The Blacksmith will now display equipment that is currently available in-game but not yet owned or unlocked, so players can see what they can obtain.
  • The Hero Selector will now show locked heroes, locked common equipment and locked pets
  • For troops that are not high enough level, the Super Sauna will now display what upgrade level is required to use a given super troop
  • Thrower Level 4 buff was reverted (new values: 2800 HP and 240 DPS)
  • Totem Spell changes: Radius was changed from 6 Tiles to 5, Damage from 70-100 to 0, and Apprentice and Life Gem Aura no longer affect Totems
  • And finally, the Ore Bug has been fixed for good and any excess ore earned via the exploit has been revoked. This means that players that exploited this bug may see negative Ores.

Unleash Dragon Duke!

A new Hero is joining the battlefield… just not quite yet.

Meet the Dragon Duke, a new Hero available at TH15! He’s currently imprisoned deep beneath the village, and it’s up to you to break him out in a community event starting soon! I have a feeling he's going to make a very dramatic entrance!

Everything about the Hero is mysterious, aside from the fact that he'll start out with 3 common equipments!

Quick Gold Pass Update

Hey Chief,

Over the past few days, you’ve shared a ton of feedback about Gold Pass 2.0. Based on your feedback, we’re making some initial adjustments starting in March.

What’s Changing:

  • You’ll Start Stronger
  • Players will now begin the Season with 4 cards instead of 3
  • This lets grinders get one day ahead of initial projections
  • 20% Boost moves from Day 10 → Day 9
  • Prospector moves from Day 20 → Day 19
  • Boosts Unlock Earlier
  • We’re adjusting the starting node structure from:
    0 - 60 - 120 - 180 - 240 - 300
    To:
    0 - 25 - 50 - 100 - 200 - 300
  • Here’s what that means:
  • 25 pts - 10% Research Boost (previously 180 pts)
  • 50 pts - 10% Builder Boost (previously 240 pts - This gives both discount boosts within the first stamp card)
  • 100 pts - 60% Request Time Reduction (previously 120 pts)
  • 200 pts - Gem Reinforcements (previously 60 pts)
  • 750 pts- 15% Builder Boost (previously 900 pts)
  • 900 pts - 70% Request Time Reduction (previously 750 pts)
  • This brings:
  • The 10% boosts to a near-immediate unlock
  • The 15% Builder Boost to Day 3 instead of Day 7

Playtesting is powerful, but nothing beats real player feedback. Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts across social media, and an extra special thanks to our Creators, who are often the first to raise community concerns and push for improvements.

Dragon Duke : New Hero

There's finally information about the new hero! The Dragon Duke is a brand new hero with a very unique mechanic: He becomes enraged when no other flying troops nearby. This makes him quite unique as other heroes mostly work better with other troops and heroes around! Here's some more details:

  • The new hero is unlocked at Hero Hall Level 9 at TH15
  • Has a very high HP, but low DPS, which becomes higher when the hero is enraged
  • He's enraged when alone (like the baby dragon!)
  • He has a Melee Range of 1.25 tiles

The rage ability does the following:

  • 100% more attack damage
  • 50% faster attack speed
  • 50% reduced damage from traps
  • There's a different set of animations and VFX when he's enraged.

As you may know however, the hero will remain locked until the new season starts on March 1st! Help unlock him with the "Unleash the Duke" community event ongoing now!

Equipment

This hero comes with 3 common equipments available

Fire Heart

Passive Ability: Very high health regeneration. When the Dragon Duke dies, he explodes damaging a large area around him!

Flame Blower

Active ability: Shoots a cone of Flames in the direction the Dragon Duke is facing, doing instantaneous large damage in the area.

Stun Blast

Active ability: When used, releases a blast wave which stuns and damages everything around Dragon Duke. It however does not affect resource buildings and walls.
This equipment is unlocked with Blacksmith Level 9 which is available at TH16

Go full Dragon-Mode in the Clan Rush Event!

Eyes on the skies, Chiefs! The Clan Rush Event is back! This time, it’s all about Duke’s Dragons - They're melting village gold!

Collect Gold with your Clan from Home Village battles, Clan War Attacks, Single Player attacks, collectors, and the Loot Cart to fill your storages and contribute Molten Gold. Use Dragon Duke to earn more Molten Gold, and complete the track to unlock a 3x3 Electro Dragon Statue decoration!

The Clan Rush Event is available to players with Town Hall 6 or above and will last 7 days from <t:1773388800> through <t:1773993600>! You can still access the event building for one more day after that to claim rewards.

Contributing to Clan Progress

After collecting gold, players must manually deposit it into their clan's event progress.

  • Clan Progress is tracked visibly, so everyone can see the contributions made.
  • Players need to participate at least once to earn rewards.
  • Up to 100 contributors in a clan count towards progress.

I want even more Molten Gold!

Want even more Molten Gold? Bring the heat with Dragon Duke. When you use him in your attacks, you earn extra Molten Gold from the Gold you collect. That means bigger melts, faster progress, and more treasure poured straight into your Clan’s forge. If you are going to rush for Gold, Chief, you might as well do it with a dragon.

Additionally, on March 19th, the amount of Molten Gold you earn per looted Gold will be boosted clan wide!

Event Rewards and Milestones

  • Clans unlock rewards as they reach milestones together. These rewards can be collected as soon as they're unlocked!
  • The event will have 7 milestone rewards with a mix of Chests and the 3x3 Electro Dragon Statue!
  • Players have 1 day after the event ends to claim rewards before they expire.

Note that contributing Gold to a clan does NOT lock you to a clan, nor does collecting rewards from a clan. Players cannot get duplicate rewards.

Next Crafted Defenses Season

This isn't an April Fools' joke! For the next season of Crafted Defenses, 3 Builder Base defenses are being brought into the Home Village! The season will last 4 months starting April 1st!
Here's the details about the defenses:

Air Bombs

  • Air Bombs target only air troops, and does splash damage with its balloon projectiles!
  • Upgrade modules: Hit points, Damage per hit, and attack speed

Lava Launcher

  • The Lava Launcher targets only ground troops, does splash damage, and shots leave lava pools on the ground which deal damage over time!
  • Upgrade modules: Hitpoints, Damage per second, and Range

Roaster

  • The Roaster targets both ground and air troops, does splash damage, and shoots flame projectiles in bursts!
  • Upgrade modules: Hitpoints, Damage per hit, Burst count

For 5 days at the start of the event, this Equipment will be boosted to the highest level allowed by your Town Hall, so you can try it at full power right away!

This is an active equipment that will let the Dragon Duke dash across the centre of the village breathing fire and avoiding attacks!

Temporary Troop: Party Wizard

What is a concert without chaos?
The Party Wizard joins the lineup as a temporary troop during the event. Unlock it through the Event Track and bring the party to your foes.

Event Rewards

Earn rewards through the Event Track and spend your Medals in the Trader Shop, including:

Legends League Changes

As was announced earlier, Legend League will be split into 3 different leagues:

  • Legend III: Weekly tournament, 24 battles per week, top 5 promote
  • Legend II: Weekly tournament, 30 battles per week, top 3 promote
  • Legend I: 4-week tournament, 8 battles per day, players below rank 10.000 demote every Monday
  • Tournaments now start 12 hours earlier at <t:1777309200:t> (previously <t:1777266000:t>)
  • League floor adjustments:
    • TH16 goes from Golem 21 to Golem 20
    • TH17 goes from Titan 25 to PEKKA 23
    • TH18 gets its own floor at Titan 26
  • Electro 32/33 no longer have Battle Modifiers (moved to Legends)
  • Battle counts reduced for leagues:
    • Titan from 14 to 12
    • Dragon from 18 to 14
    • Electro from 24 to 18
  • New Battle Log:
    • New summary view
    • New Town Hall Leaderboard
    • New promotion/demotion flow via player history
  • Loot related changes:
    • Star Bonus has been slightly increased across all resources and ores
    • League Bonus has better scaling
    • Ranked Battle loot has been slightly decreased

Clan War League: More Leagues

CWL is getting more Leagues, introducing Titan III, II, I and Legend! This introduces a bunch of changes that will affect all leagues.

  • More League Bonus slots for more rewards:
    • Titan has 5 base bonuses to give
    • Legend has 6 base bonuses to give
  • The current in-game leaderboard for CWL will display Legend clan rankings. This means that for the first 3 months, this ranking will appear empty
  • Only 15v15 format for Champion III and above
  • Highest CWL seeding for new Clans remain at Master I
  • Modifiers active:
    • CWL Titan II will have the same modifiers as Ranked Legend III
    • CWL Titan I will have the same modifiers as Ranked Legend II
    • CWL Legend will have the same modifiers as Ranked Legend I

The Logger - A powerful ranged Town Hall Guardian built to control the battlefield.

  • Fires slow-moving piercing projectiles that hit everything in their path
  • Targets both air and ground units at the same time
  • Applies 1-tile knockback on impact for all levels
  • Post-hit projectile range: 7 tiles (levels 1–3), 8 tiles (level 4-5)

Sky Wagon - Similar to the Troop Launcher, the Sky Wagon is an aerial Siege Machine designed to support your army mid-battle.

  • Can move independently, performs best deployed behind air troops.
  • Launches up to 6 barrels, each containing a mix of Clan Castle troops alongside Minions, a Balloon, and a Baby Dragon
  • Higher levels deliver more powerful reinforcements
  • Has its own pathing, will not follow troops. Targets nearest building (any) but stays back with a long range
  • Deploys barrels slower than Troop Launcher, every ~8 seconds (troop launcher is 6s)

Electro Fangs - New Dragon Duke Common Equipment. Unlocked at Town Hall 17 (Blacksmith level 10).

  • Passive ability: chains across up to 4 targets
  • Hero Boost: up to 2,400 HP at level 18

  • Each jump/chain deals 20% less damage

Ever wonder what happens when you mount wings on a castle made of stone? Neither have we, yet here we are, arriving at the same place. Flying Fortress is a new special unit exclusive to Clan Capital Raids. This flying Titanic launches cannonballs, targets Defenses and will shoot at ground and air units.

Taking up 100 Housing space, this dumpy dirigible is no slouch in battle. Flying Fortress delivers a payload of Skeleton Gliders that fly over enemy barricades and terrain as well as a host of Skeletons that swarm ground targets.

Slow and ponderous, Mountain Golem packs a massive punch, takes up 160 Housing Space, and does area splash damage when he attacks. He also has a special Crush ability that destroys Walls just by touching them.

Dragon Cliffs - Leather wings and squealing hogs makes being in this area for any long duration result in insomnia and tinnitus. Unlocks at Capital Hall level 6
