Hello, so sorry for the delay!
To cancel your Rythm subscription you'll need to be on Desktop. Please open your user settings on Discord, then scroll till you reach a section called Billing Settings and click on Subscriptions, then you'll notice a section called Premium Apps on the page and you'll want to click on the button named Manage Subscriptions.

If Rythm doesn't show up for you please try restating your client (ctrl + r) or updating your client to the latest version of Discord.

Hi there! Rythm has always had a premium tier, it's not just present in the newest version.
Unlike the previous Rythm we now license all our music directly, and licensing is expensive so a majority of what we make from subscriptions goes directly towards paying artists and keeping our servers going. Our subscription is also cheaper compared to other services due to our group listening, and with a mobile app on the way there'll be so many ways to enjoy Rythm.

However in the end it's ultimately your choice in which music platform you feel is right for you, there are no right or wrong answers

Rythm doesn't rely on a bot anymore, you can start Rythm by joining a vc, clicking the icon, and selecting Rythm from the activities list. You can keep the bot around though if you'd like to be able to use slash commands to control the activity

Hello, to cancel your premium you'll need to login to the original account, open your settings, open the subscriptions menu, and cancel your Rythm premium subscription under the premium apps section. If you're unable to do this please let me know so I can inform the team right away

As for refunding you can contact Discord and submit a ticket here. You should only have up to 2 months of premium prior to this since Rythm and our subscription has only been public for that amount of time, unless you were with us for our alpha and beta testing.

Yo! You may have authorized Rythm commands on your account - to remove those, head into your Discord settings > Authorized Apps > Rythm > Deauthorize.

Alrighty, I have an answer. Rythm collaborates with Discord which is how we managed to become an activity to begin with, however Discord doesn't have any developers on our team. Discord helped us get Rythm on the platform, while our lovely devs build Rythm on their own. This has been in the works for over 2 years now, though I'm unable to confirm just how long ago it was planned for Rythm to take shape as an activity within Discord.

To cancel your Rythm subscription you'll need to be on Desktop. Please open your user settings on Discord, then scroll till you reach a section called Billing Settings and click on Subscriptions, then you'll notice a section called Premium Apps on the page and you'll want to click on the button that reads Manage Subscriptions.

If Rythm doesn't show up for you please try restating your client (ctrl + r) or updating your client to the latest version of Discord.

Hello hello, sorry for the delay, it appears you may have added the app to your profile instead of just your server. To remove Rythm's slash commands from your account please open your settings on discord and find the "Authorized Apps" section, from there scroll until you find Rythm and deauthorize the app.

I'm using my pc (windows 11), intel i9 (12 gen, i think), 64GB ram, NVidia rtx 4090 24GB VRAM. It isn't happening with other Discord activities, I just started one and I could hear it just fine. I had found Rhythm and tried it out, was fully able to hear music in my General vc but when I joined premium it went silent.

I'd love for our service to be free as well but the team needs to make money somehow to pay for licensing since we license all our music now! Of course nothing is final or set in stone, we're constantly changing and evolving based on feedback from the community; there's always something new to think about or try. To end your Rythm premium subscription you'll need to be on Desktop. Please open your user settings on Discord, then scroll till you reach a section called Billing Settings and click on Subscriptions, then you'll notice a section called Premium Apps on the page and you'll want to click on the button that reads Manage Subscriptions.

If Rythm doesn't show up for you please try restating your client (ctrl + r) or updating your client to the latest version of Discord. Please feel free to let me know if you're having any issues

To add the Rythm bot to your server all you need to do is open @dry iris's profile, select "add app", then choose if you want to add it to your server or profile.

I solved the problem, but in some absolutely incredible way. I contacted the friend with whom I created this server to communicate. He reconnected to the server at my invitation, and he turned out to be the owner (?????). Kicked the bot and transferred the rights to me

Currently, you can't do that with Rythm! While there are already plenty of services for solo listening, there isn't a super convenient way for multiple people to join the same session. That's why Rythm was designed and built from the ground up to focus on making group listening easier, hence the limit. 👀
