i'd argue making it yet another solo music streaming service would basically kill it as it'd have high competition from all kinds of services like Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc. imo, the only real competitor rythm really has is spotify due to their listen together feature being in discord, however that requires EVERYONE wishing to participate to have premium to even listen to it. (And in my experience, it works even worse than the original Rythm did.)

Licensing is expensive and the team needs to be able to pay for it somehow, our subscription isn't super expensive and a majority of what is made from it goes right back into artists. In addition we're 100% ad free.

We have received some suggestions to allow ads in the service and in turn open up some more of the premium features to free uses, although that's still something that needs to be considered and isn't guaranteed.

1. If you purchase premium, you have premium anywhere you use Rythm.
2. You should be able to launch Rythm no matter what, if you are having issues this could be for a number of reasons, but the most common reasons are; you are region locked (which wont make a lot of sense, considering you have somehow purchased premium), or you are trying to access Rythm through something that may be bugged (mobile, or firefox etc).

Could you share some more details? Like what device you are on, what browser (if any) you are using and what version of Discord (Canary, or normal)

I am not on a VPN. I simply went into my Discord settings and then under Integrations, I clicked Rhythm since I invited the bot/app to the server. After that, I scrolled down and it has the option to purchase Premium via Discord.

You can always start a radio and listen just like normal - the only thing you need is at least one other person listening with you. Rythm will pause while no one is there & automatically resume when someone joins!

Heya, first off, if Rythm is not loading properly, you can try restarting the activity and Discord to see if it works. Also turning off the low power mode might also help since it does make your phone’s performance worse.

Second, if you see the progress bar stops and you are the only one in the activity, that means your solo listening duration has run out. You’d need a friend (or friends) to continue using Rythm since we are focusing on sharing music together now.

Well I'm not gonna lie it definitely should it's $5 per premium subscription for that same price my current subscription service is 2 separate bots in seven servers I understand the service is more DM and group call Friendly now but not giving people an option to add their songs in a call with someone who has the premium option activated is kind of annoying you could probably figure

Another thing I will be looking into making a suggestion for is that the original Rythm got shut down by YouTube for using their links and I was just wondering would Rhythm be open to offering their app as a replacement for other Discord Bots that do use YouTube links that could be taken down for the same reason?

We can try clearing the Discord cache first and see if that helps at all.
Close the Discord App - Go to iOS settings > General > iPhone Storage > Discord > Offload App.
