Spotify lets creators upload their own songs while rythm wants you to pay 5 dollars so they can license out songs for you to listen to on discord and also requires at least one other person in order to use

not entirely how it works. when someone wants to upload their music on discord it goes through a publisher or distributor or something, we sign deals with these people too so eventually if someone uploads their music with a distributor (which sends it to spotify) we will also get it. we are dynamic just like other platforms
