I would suggest you get a SATA SSD in there since it will make your ps4 faster in loading and some games.
And yes you can replace it with a 2.5' HDD or SSD
You can find a lot of guides on the internet
Also, you can just plug an external HDD

The best way is to get an SSD and use your current 400GB drive as an external HDD for extra storage.

20-30% CPU usage and 40% GPU usage isn't indicative of anything until you know how that usage is spread across your hardware. If the game's only using 100% of one core/thread, task manager isn't going to show a CPU usage above 20-30% on some 6/8/12 core CPU

Well in Python you'd read chunk by chunk of the file and use struct or something to unpack the actual data (which is admittedly easier in Python) but in Node you can load the entire file to a buffer, convert it to Arrays of whatever (UInt32 and 16 in my case) and extract as required

I can also patch and repack the file without writing any intermediate files to disk. This is probably doable in Python too though

So I might try opening a reddit thread for this, but for now ill ask here and see if anyone can figure it out.

So recently I got my RTX 3050, and when I go to do (specifically) Discord streaming, the stream framerate goes to shit. I ruled out that it is indeed not an internet issue but something with my GPU. Streaming on Twitch is almost flawless, but that that point it would most definitely be my internet. I did notice that when it hits 90% or higher, it's when the stream framerate dies. Any way to fix this? I should also note that I just did an sfc /scannow and it actually picked up some corrupt files, but I don't know whether that was a culprit or not. Any tips to help would be awesome

i had that problem with an amd 6800 xt, it magically went away at some point but what partially helped in the meantime was 🧢ping the framerate to 60 so that gpu is under less load

the good thing about Event Viewer is it keeps logs of issues. Though do test to see if you get sound if you do get into windows. If you get no sound and do get back into windows. Your sound likely fried itself, or if a headphone jack it broke a bit off the board inside

if your sound does work back into windows likely the driver did a goof

I would also try running Glary Utilities for a clean up of the system if that's the case.

This laptop was a used christmas present my aunt and uncle got me and my cousin because of school being online, I've had to reset the audio drive once or twice but finally got it into shape and then this happens. Hi. I have a question. I have a 3.5" hdd, which i was using it with an hdd box. Today, after i use "safely remove" function on Windows, i heard a small "blam" sound coming from either adapter or hdd box while disconnecting it from the power socket (or whatever it is called). I tried the hdd box again, but it wasn't getting power. I don't have any more adapter, and i don't have equipment to test HDD. Well, i have an old "sata to usb" cable for 2.5" hdds, which i tried on hdd and both "power and data" lamps were on. Is the hdd still working? Or it went kaput too?

I can always turn it down to 1080p with in game settings. And again, I chose that specific model because it has a color accurate panel and is 16:10 which is a godsend for digital production

Production usually isn't pushing the GPU at 100% load all the time, just for some time when rendering. So higher resolution panel is super nice to have and doesn't degrade performance

But again, prices are still well above MSRP. I couldn't find any RTX 3060 Ti for less than 600 dollars.

PC Market is still fucked. Laptops are among the best if not only decent offers. And they've caught up quite a bit in performance.

idk how to explain it, but just know if you enable 1440p resolution in games, it'll perform less optimally than 1080p but will offer more quality
