Specifically with why I feel Ending A is the best written one and why Michael wasn't wrong with wanting Trevor dead (and why T's loyalty doesn't mean much to me)

This is shown throughout the story of GTA V and various dialogues that Trevor was the reason Michael had so much heat on him in North Yankton. We see in the story many times that Trevor doesn't nessisiarily care about how much shit gets put on him to the point where he endangers Michael and Franklin many times because he's crazy and just thinks Michael's way of being smart and getting big things done without getting too much heat is being a pussy.

Michael even tell Franklin that there were times where Trevor would kill someone in broad daylight and they'd have to flee town

You don’t have to spend any money if you want the gauntlets. Lester will send you photos of where 4 gauntlets will spawn if you choose that approach if the heist.

in the jewelry heist setup (where you take a picture of the vents) Michael says this:

^ so my assumption is that Michael thought Trevor was dead sometime after Michael's disappearance
