Whichever order you prefer. Normally I'd say by release order, since it's harder to play older games once you know its successors and thus technical improvements, but we have no clue how will these so-called remasters play. In the end of the day there may be little to no difference between GTA 3 and SA, so my advice is, wait for the release, don't pre-order anything, see if these remasters are half decent and then, if so, play them however you want.

My thought on this is that,they probably never expected GTAO to blow up and be as successful as it is today.When they first created it,they probably thought it would turn out like GTA 4 online where people would usually just log in and mess around only when their friends are on(literally there wasn't any grind factor in 4 online which would make people feel motivated to grind hours everyday) so they wouldn't need to constantly update it with new content but then once they saw that people started putting in hours into GTA 5 online after the heist update,so they probably felt somewhat obliged to keep the game updated instead of doing another bigger GTA game project like the long awaited GTA 6

My GTA singleplayer has that orange tint you get from Online's halloween event today.

I was in SP, screen was fine.
Friend invited me to a game of golf while I was still in SP; I accepted the invite.
Finished the golf game, went into freemode, and played a little bit of Online until it got to night time and the orange screen effect was enabled.

Then I switched to SP and the effect is still there.

I've tried switching from Franklin to Michael, loading a save, and restarting the entire game itself. The effect is still there.
