No you don't have to, but if you save with a car outside of a garage and later load that same save that car will be gone, Garages are how a lot of games keep your cars from disappearing

if it doesn’t progress then if you have one, reload a save right before architects plan, kill yourself a few times so the game sees where you’re at, then do the plans mission and see if it helps

character blocked due to last mission you did.

Anyone know why
your game knows why. switch to the character you can switch to. then try switching to franklin. game will then show you why you can't use franklin at this current time.
