I like this list
I forgot about the f1 dang The Pagani would almost be as much so i think i might auction it off for $17mil and swap it lol
1996 dodge viper GTS-R, dodge daytona, Plymouth superbird,1978 dodge lil red express, 1968 Dodge dart HEMI super stock in Orange
Mostly boomer shit
no jesko
I like Regera better. 😂
tbf regera is nice as long as you dont let the battery die
aka every single supercar/hypercar but its worse with the regera
I love Agera because of Need For Speed movie.
5x F&F cars
2021 Lotus E-R9 Concept
The E-R9 has a proposed system of ‘morphing’ surfaces that can change on demand to guide airflow
Unlimited money but no mention of maintenance, so:
- Koenigsegg Gemera (solely for garage queen)
- EK Honda Civic Type R (daily)
- C8 Corvette Z06 (track)
- Dodge Ram 1500 Diesel (camping)
- Trailer home (camping #2)
I would buy the trailer home thats detachable so i can have a flatbed as well
I'd buy the most valuable cars in the world, sell them to keep the money and probably buy a volvo or something
maybe an evo tme which will never be driven
efficiency + practicality > fun
^
I would actually want to keep the five cars I chose but in reality I wouldn’t be able to unless I was already rich and able to secure and maintain such iconic irreplaceable things
So I would probably sell one or two
Keep the gt40 and the 250gto because those are priceless and only go up in price
I wonder how it is to insure one of those
probably through some vague swiss company
Gotta keep the taxes low
i want this
it probably insures like art or something
And they start at $200,000 USD
Chieftain in the us with cannon turned off, $50k
having the gun work is the expensive part
and youre not getting modern mbts unless u know the ceo of lockheed or smth
My grandpa had a tiny tank
Tiny was still 80,000 pounds because tanks weigh a shit ton regardless of size lol
40 tons is still a medium tank
"small" is like a Stuart at like 30 tons
Yeah the do
How about this one beamer?
The m2 is nice, a great small car to throw around
Yea
@blissful lagoon no.
"3 grand and this thing will be a show piece"

It shouldn't even be on the fucking road
What kind of car is it?
96 ford mustang
I didn't get pics of it, but there is GREAT STUFF (spray foam, looks and functions similar to insulation fiberglass in houses) all around the chassis
The chassis is completely shot
I'm surprised it didn't just crack open when you lifted the chassis
It took my instructor a good 30 seconds to find reverse gear because of how bad of shape the transmission is in
in what kind of climate was this one driven?
You could hear it knocking (loudly) every time it entered neutral
or did it just sit outside for 20 years
Apparently it was "saved"
so bought off someone for 100 bucks
will the repairs be expensive? No idea how expensive fox body parts are
Saved as in the owner held it so it could be driven later
Looks like he "saved it" upside down outside in the snow with no cover or protection of any kind
Michigan weather
So salty place with a lot of long winters
I would call it write off honestly, you wont know how much black rust is in there.
No so much salt as much as humidity
But salt commonly coats the roads as much as snow does
Yeah
Iirc its common in midwest and east coast to use those sort of road coating
To keep the ice away
oh that kind of weather's awful for cars
I can't wait for the snow to just piss off already
The tires aren't even the same type of tire, im pretty sure the rear is all terrains while the front is road tires
Not talking about the rims
No we didn't do it previous previous owners changed wheels out completely except the fronts
2022 Porsche 911 GT3

Torque: 470 Nm / 347 lb-ft
Top Speed: 320 kph / 199 mph
I can't wait to test drive this one
This color is so nice on the Tesla roadster
Whenever I get a tesla roadster in a game or spec it out on the websites I always make it matte black
Like a dark vante matte black because it looks like floating headlights and it’s sick
From someone who drives a white car
Your not gonna wanna get white lol
Car wash every week if you want it to look remotely clean, I don’t do this and the cash is just dirty
Because snow and all the other stuff like salt would make it not even worth it to wash until the snow depletes.
This is slick
I love white and black on all teslas
I didn't notice the La Ferrari in the back at first
i'd be lookin at that instead lol
Tesla would be nice
You must be rich.
No i mean
im pretty sure it hasn't even been seen yet
Oh
in like
able to buy kinda way
still hasn't been fully released
Could be wrong but i see no one having one
Oh yea still not able to get one if you have the money
cause elon wants to make it fucking hover

basically this shit is vaporware
they've been promising it since 2016 I guess
Lol
They never said it would come out in 2016 but yea since covid did it’s thing I could see this not being on a street until 2022
2025 is my best guest, since Tesla is awful with deadlines
they always mess up when delivering cars
this looks amazing
No but thought they said around 2018/17 they said we would see it on public in early or late 2020

Cum is a valid transport
Because you can slide on it
See it’s like minecraft ice
Prove me wrong boys
uhmn
Friction by just licking it
whats the ncap safety rating

The engine is man power
It’s like a skateboard in a way
Except without the board and with semen
For some reason, I got a slight headache trying to compare the European emission standards and the US emission standards.
yeah it's very different. But in a nutshell it's slightly less emission
What's the highest compliance called?
why is he holding that wheel so low
reservations have been in for a few years iirc but no ETA on when you have to pay the full amount

They said it would be released late 2020, so if you account the year of covid and lockdowns as an excuse which is justified, if they release it late 2021/January 2022 they are still on good time.
cars aren't easy
They are also low production so low priority considering everything should be going towards the model 3/y
Yes, cars are not easy. I still prefer travelling with my own car during the pandemic than to take a public transport.
.i get the excuse cause of lockdownand covid, and the recent focus on spacex but people are gonna not like the fact that the car they put downs on isn't arrived yet, course people should be use to that in this time
Every car they have made has been delayed, most of the people annoyed by the roadster delay aren't gonna get one lol
Just saying it will become vaporware
I give 0 fucks to that smartphone on wheels, I just like to annoy tesla fanbois
what
^
People who hate ev's upon the basis of no valid argument are just as bad as those idiots who own ev's that put "Gas-Bad" or "Bye-Gas" as their licence plate
In the computer industry, vaporware (or vapourware) is a product, typically computer hardware or software, that is announced to the general public but is late or never actually manufactured nor officially cancelled. Use of the word has broadened to include products such as automobiles.
Vaporware is often announced months or years before its pur...
Nah, I just hate the brainlets who shit on everyone for not owning these tin cans
Also, their design language is awful
wdym, they design for little drag, and they achieve that well
not everything can be a filing cabinet, as much as I enjoy g wagons
little drag =/= beautiful
and
And I said their design is ugly
efficiency > fun
cars are foremost a means of transportation, any fun or aesthetics is secondary
for you, sure
and for 99 per cent of people who buy and drive cars
in most terms it actually does, the slipperier the object the more of a natural feel it has
I'm not saying its not efficient
because most things in nature repeat that low drag pattern
It could be a fucking water drop for all I care
exactly, bad aerodynamics is wasted energy
No shit genius
I hate this truck
well you seem to be confused by something for us to have to explain why they look like eggs with wheels
then why are you hating on Tesla? I mean you can provide valid criticism on some of their business tactics, but their design has been proven fruitful
and effective design is more important than aesthetic design
It's not for everyone, some people love the minimal design, others don't prefer it
And it locked me in the truck,
opinions make the world go round
Their cars are ugly, I don't like how people claim they are the best cars, awful quality control
They are the best at some things, but not all of course. People who shit on every other car are just as ignorant as those who blindly hate on a specific brand.
two opposite sides of the extremists
you find them ugly, and there have been issues indeed but that's to be expected from new manufacturers which are rapidly expanding. VW, volvo (any brand) has recalled their models in the past
I'm not hating, I simply don't like them and don't see owning them
The same way I don't like Volvo or VW
They are extremely efficient, don't depreciate as much as other cars in the price segment, have an ever growing infrastructure and are the safest vehicles on the road.
I'd prefer a Lamborghini but some people prefer practicality and efficiency in a point a to b machine.
eh they do depreciate a lot, but that's standard for most consumer vehicles. Most bmw's and mercedes vehicles depreciate a bit faster
a lot*
Teslas as Lucas stated are software on wheels meaning they update with time without needing to ever go anywhere or do anything
Where did I say they aren't efficient or don't depreciate it ? I simply don't like because they are ugly, expensive and are not up to my standards. You are all acting like I said something unreasonable, I simply stated my opinion, I didn't try to enforce it or state it as a fact
because this
Another reason that I despise them, I hate this software update over the air bullshit
rather edgy
so ? Seems like it worked
I'm not a tesla fanboy, I don't see myself owning an american car in general
but as there are unconditional fanboys, there are unconditional haters
Stolen ?
No old owners took it out
no one is gonna steal a GM radio
from 1996
Aged like fine leather
350z moment

iirc its a 2JZ swap
which is like just

"Today on shit A80 fans say"
You think teslas are ugly, well so is the new supra
More fake vents than a planet fitness locker though

They could’ve done so much better with that car, it being a z4 is actually the least of my concerns because bmw is a good brand.

The old pickups look nice when they aren’t halfway rusted, dirty, and disintegrated
Takes you back in time to see a clean older car
but i think the plans of 350 swapping the lil turd sonoma is changing from a no to a go
Yea i can't say that about the van much

Sonoma tho, perfect swap truck
engines basically shit anyways minus well blow it up
and make another successful generic supercar like the NSX right ? Not saying it can't be ugly, but this engine thing is annoying, it has a BMW engine whether people like it or not
Well a lot of people don’t like it, and the ones who see the car usually don’t know or care outsourcing the parts was level 9000 cost cutting on their part but at least it was outsourced to bmw.
It doesn’t make the car stop looking stubby and weirdly proportioned
And all the shit they pulled between detuning, fake vents, telling people the car would sag if you installed a wing on it.
The first year of that car was absolutely a shitshow
They got the second year much better but it still looks like a hamster toenail
Oh yeah, the detuning was a shitshow but I don't remember about the sagging one
Shoving an inline six in something the size of an extended smart car makes it look like a miata coupe with a long hood and a cheap veilside body kit
I hate how they used such a short chassis for it
How is the nsx generic it looks nothing like any other car.
It’s like calling the c8 corvette generic
Well, the design looks dull, it doesn't stand out
sure, it's not like other car, but it doesn't look like it's trying to standout
I’d rather have subtle than ugly bubble hamster
But price was probably the main issue with that thing
The engine however isn't generic, it's rather rare to find a Hybrid V6 in a 2013 Supercar
And price yeah, but the original NSX wasn't cheap either, so I wonder why the latter didn't make as much success as the first
The nsx’s direct competition was between the Nissan gtr and the audi r8 and those two were already massively successful for years
Timing was I think a big issue they built it really late
I like the r35, it’s chubby and now the stereotype of media influencer who made money last year but I don’t mind the design
The older ones, the actual skylines had a certain design language that the new gtr sorta failed to create
Never was fan of the Skyline family, I used to like the R32 but as the years went by I started liking the R30, shame it is always forgotten because it's not a GTR
the 4-doors also are a favorite of mine, especially the R34, they look so normal
Lol they even made station wagons of it which I find funny
wagons of sports cars are my thing man
Yea for such a task they did pretty well
They already had a four door version so that was a big help
Yeah, the Nissan Stagea right ?
the Evo VII looks good in wagon form
the stagea is sort of it probably, people swap frond ends so I guess the insides are similar
~$50k down for most people. Waiting a few years is pretty common for cars that are all built by hand/design isn’t finished yet. Because it’s an EV there’s definitely lots of people who are buying it as their first supercar so they probably didn’t expect waiting a few years. Most customers usually don’t care as long as the car isn’t canceled completely tbh
they're surprisingly comfortable (for an evo)
This set of wheels can beat the Divo!
I love that car.
Why is that called McLaren? Isn't McLaren a separate car manufacturer?
They built the car together!
Ohh SLR
Can a boat beat a car? In an epic splash and dash from London to Oslo, Jeremy Clarkson pits the Mercedes McLaren SLR against Richard Hammond and James May who are making the journey by boat.

they did leave out a massive chunk between part 1 and 2
It still can't beat Divo like this one!
i dont like the air scoop

its ugly
and it looks like a le mans car
and those are ugly
Well, I Luv it.

This is a better McLaren.
All-time favorite british car
This is still my dream car.
Agera R? Damn fine choice.
koenigsegg
Favorite 'egg is the CCX
i had to search that name
Sadly, they don't manufacture Agera anymore.
its impossible to spell that name
Is it just me or most or all Bugatti cars kinda look like a bug?
I don't know if it's true but someone claimed that Ferrari is good but Lambo outperforms Ferrari.
but in norwegian they're "grove"
No
Lamborghinis are more luxury cars then sports cars
In comparison to ferraris anyway
And I want a Centenario only because that's my missing queen's dream car.
Dream car vs pipe-dream car
I just hope Fiat doesn't ruin Ferrari since I heard that they own Ferrari.
Or at least they have ownership of Ferrari.
They've owned them since the 60s
If they would have fucked them up they would have done so already
Do you think Fiat is a good car?
I don't like any of their cars
I heard Fiat builds bad cars.
Ferraris aren't known for being super reliable either
Really? I thought Ferraris have reliable and durable cars?
Well, Ford beats Ferrari anyway. 😂
Ferrari got bought out half a century ago lmao, they don't influence Ferrari at all it is just under their belt.
If you want a supercar company to succeed you let them do their own shit and never change it.
Or, create your own.
their classic cars are great
It's McLaren because it was built when McLaren and Mercedes were working together on F1 (Merc owned 40% of McLaren)
Exhaust leak fixing time
nahh they make that one good car-
oh wait, it's just an mx-5 but looks worse
Yea the mainstream Mclaren production cars you see today, that didn’t start until 2011
They released their first model the mp4-12c
Before that they were solely just a racing manufacturer, and in the 90’s dabbled with making a racer for the road. That’s where the f1 came from
Get in dude!
the new f-type is really boring
they took an f-type and just took away all of the characteristics that made it look unique

the originals are outrageous yeah, though if you really want one, there's some company making electrics for 9,000 (and you can get a petrol for another 2-4k) - that's British currency, btw
ah 9k for the kit, 12k for a factory built one
Rather pay less for a kit than get one built for me cause i like hands on stuff
Imagine getting an original, you could trade that in for a Huracan
Wow, the Corvette is pretty so much worth it!

why did they put a sea lion
because animal is life
fair
usually the build quality is quite good and it can survive being a daily. mclaren build quality is very poor(the interior quality is absolutely horrible) and they really cant survive being a daily. lamborghinis have a decent build quality and for the most part they can survive as a daily
mclaren build quality sucks ass regardless of the price range
Oh. So McLaren is mostly for speed and looks but the quality is bad?
The engineering side of the cars are good, but their build quality could be better
But I've heard the MP4-12C makes a decent daily driver
you could say that yeah. the quality control is complete shit which really just brings everything else down
You should never buy a lambo, ferrari or mclaren as a daily driver
I can somewhat excuse the 612, ff (super sexy imo), gtc4lusso and urus (horrendous car) but all of their other vehicles are rather unfit for daily driving. These days the comfort and over-all usability has been improved upon but it's nothing compared to regular consumer cars half their price. Daily driving will also destroy the value of your car.
lambo, ferrari and mclaren mainly build track/racing cars
I would buy for showing off. 😂
not daily driving ones
if you're rich and want a daily driver, you're better off with a high-end volvo, audi or a bentley
most of their cars are performance cars
yeah
lamborghini has very little racing heritage and the california isn't exactly a track car
Its stock and it has a busted roof with a half working trans
Lamborghini is more luxury-focused
I love Ferrari but do you guys agree with me that Ford beats Ferrari?
it really depends where you live and how much you can spend on maintaining the car. if you daily a mclaren you just need to have a few hundred extra bolts on hand and get it serviced monthy. lambos are wayyyy less likely to break down but its still not the best to daily. Ferraris quality and reliability makes it good enough to daily tho.
mclarens just have too many issues to use as a daily safely
It's a poor comparison
if you live close to a service center then you can pretty much daily whatever
Ford did defeat Ferrari in 24 hours of Le Mans by using the Ford GT40.
Yes, they did
Thats an unruly comparison to the argument of which is more daily driveable
Cause thats a race car
But the GT40 is barely a ford at all
Yeah it was manufactured in a ford factory bla bla bla
But it was shaped into the car that beat the big red prick by Carol Shelby and the boys at Shelby
Carroll Shelby is a legend.
Mhm
once mclaren discovers threadlockers it might become safe to daily
I've heard good things about the 12C as a daily
Then again, the 12C was overengineered
Damn it. I remember that I need help about something I'm still unable to fully understand. 😭
What's better? Hp or torque? What's the difference between these 2?
Between what
Nvm
Torque is an incomplete measurement, used in calculating horsepower
But higher torque generally correlates to better pulling power/acceleration
Oh, I have driven a same van model but different engines(1 has diesel engine which has 101hp and 260Nm torque while the other has gas engine which has 136hp and 182Nm torque). Although both can reach high speeds, the gas seems to have more sluggish acceleration from 0 and when climbing steep inclines.
t's why diesel is the preferred fuel for Semi-trucks/utility trucks
And here in my country, diesel is very popular even on SUVs and minivans.
Because diesel is more efficient and diesel fuel is cheaper. Also because SUVs with gas engines tend to be more sluggish unless it's really powerful like V6 or turbocharged too.
But V6 engines often drink a lot of fuel.
They're more fuel efficient then V8s
im not too familiar with the 12c tbh
But fuel economy is mostly dependent upon the design of the camshafts and compression ratios
And I once asked a mechanical engineer if he would choose a large N/A engine or a small turbocharged engine providing they have same or almost same output for hauling cargo, he said he still wants N/A engine for that because the boost for turbocharged engines will only come at certain RPM.
Variable Valve Timing is pretty neat
And of course, turbolag.
Yep, turbos take time to spool up, so they're only effective at higher RPMs
They're also unreliable af
The good thing about NA is the output supply is constant and no delay.
I never knew that. 😮
And for hauling heavy cargo, I bet it will demand constant output supply which the turbocharged engine won't be able to give.
Turbos are used in Semi-trucks more often then you'd think
I can't imagine an SUV with 1.8 I4 turbocharged engine pulling a large boat from a slippery boat ramp.
But turbocharged engines are nice for efficiency.
No shit, you could fit that engine in a shopping cart
And lesser emissions too.
And I think small turbocharged engines are results of emission regulations and demand for fuel efficient engines.
Doesn't supercharger rob the engine of hp?
Twincharger has no lag but it's complicated, especially when it comes to maintenance.
That's why the lag doesn't really become noticeable. The supercharger fills in for the lag.
There's a reason twinchargers aren't commonplace though
All I know is because anti-lags or VNTs have minimized lags.
Most of their models have limited space and all of them are very fuel-inefficient. You'd spend a fortune on maintenance/insurance and their resell value will drop significantly. Their suspension isn't exactly that great for city environments too. You're 100X better off with a M6 or something as a daily driver (if you have the money) and use your gallardo or whatever for fun.
I mean you can sacrifice a weekend with ferrari but using it on a daily basis for months upon months is feasible but incredibly dumb
eh there are some very poweful small inline fours with a turbo (or multiple) which can produce a lot of power. But most of the time they're not very reliable for utility. You'd probably blow out your turbo if you're carrying a boat uphill
If it needs to be repaired more often then not, I don't think that makes it a great daily
mclarens need the most repairs out of the 3
a good daily driver has comfort, (relatively) good fuel economy and is reliable and also has room*. Most lamborghini's/ferrari's/mclarens have limited comfort, are very fuel inefficient and are not reliable- especially for daily driving
you can daily drive an f8 or a 720s, but it's heavily advised against and over all stupid
if you can afford such a car you can also afford a decent primary vehicle
unless you're one of those cheap-skates who lives in a garage and spend all of their savings on a car that they never drive
I mean volvo used them, but that technology has been replaced by hybrid set-ups
a bit more fuel-efficient and passes regulation easier
Volvo and who else? Zenvo? Lancia?
lancia only used it for the s4, and the majority of the homoligation models were destroyed after the explosion
It's real Group B hours
don't get me wrong it's an interesting concept, but a regular economy car is definitely not going to use a twincharged set-up
especially if the government/industry prefers hybrid technology
Volvo is said to be formidable.
volvo is a pretty nice brand
Volvo have been quietly innovating for years
they don't make small cars, though
so not very popular in dense urban areas like in Italy or France
Or most of western europe
eh a lot of people drive volvos here
my friend's family has one, my family owns two and my neighbour also has one
very popular
Volvo's would not be out of place here, but since I live within eyeshot of GM headquarters...
I tend to see a lot of american cars, which I'm not complaining about
the only american cars here are fords, but european brands are much more preferred
and asian brands too
because they also have a history with small economy cars
Well yeah, GM has extremely little to no presence in europe
I don't think chrysler has any
I don't see much Asian brands here, most brands here are Japanese, S Korean, American and Chinese brands.
Actually I take that back
personally i only need my laptop wherever i go so storage isnt a huge issue for me. im also not a "typical supercar/hypercar driver" because I put a decent amount of miles on my cars
but at the end of the day it depends on your lifestyle and what you care about. just make sure you take a mclaren in monthly or weekly if you daily it to stay safe
European brands are quite rare
There are a lot of Polestar 1s locally tho
Like there are at least 4 different polestar 1s
Which is strange, given how deceptively expensive they are
Yeah if you hardly ever need a car, you can splurge on a performance vehicle. But for the sake of daily commuting it's the worst possible choice you'll make
oooh and tesla has gotten really popular here too, everyone drives them know
i have 15k miles on my p1
Teslas have blown up here too
polestars are becoming more popular too, but it will take a few years for them to become prominent
they lack pr
We don't have much EVs here because we need to fix our cities first before we put up EV charging stations. Our cities are prone to floods whenever heavy storms come which are common from June to August.
I struggle to believe
And the floods would probably destroy those charging stations.
Not to mention our country has the most expensive electricity in Asia so EVs are not yet desired here.
Where I live is a american car enthusiast's dream
hire some people from rws or the TU and those floods are no more
70s cudas, hellcats, chargers, all manner of american muscle, pony, and some european supercars too
There's also an E85-equipped gas station within 30-ish miles from my house
you hardly see any of those cars here, pretty sure you can't even drive them in some areas because of pollution
How about the expensive electricity? We have the highest electricity cost in Asia. 😂
Even more expensive than electricity in the US.
Electricity here flows like water
they hardly sell that here anymore
mostly euro 95 or 98
Not the mileage, the car itself
hmm maybe abolish current government and instil a new one
As if that's gonna be easy since many people here are still brainwashed to support the incompetent and corrupt gov't.
That link is a dead-end for me

Oh damn it! That reminds me, I'm too late! D:
I'm perfectly happy with what's sitting in my garage
I didn’t think billionaires would openly roam in this server
Manufacturers are gonna start charging $1,601.70 or $2,516.96 for the safeguard/protectionism bond if we wanna buy cars which are affected by it.
im here because of @small mist, i dont play gta
It will start on March...
Welcome
and here because of omar also
About as rare as a porsche 918
Although it's not yet final, it's just a deposit as of now. We will get refund if the safeguard/protectionism tax gets junked.
👀
People are desperate to get their hands on one of these camaros
We haven't applied for a car loan yet. We never buy cars by all out cash even if it's easy for us.
Because of the perks.
Grubhub perks
hi vco 🗿
come to #archive_cross-trivia if you wanna watch another server selfbot and cheat
you can shoot a dyson vacuum cleaner commercial in that garage
The perks of buying a car through loans are often free insurance for 1 year, free registration for 3 years and so on. The best thing about car loans here is if the car gets stolen, the insurance will replace our car and they will also pay for the rest of our loan.
"3,000$ and this will be a show piece"
It's a garage not private show room, give break
That's nice classic.
It's also michigan, so the roads are in about as good of shape as a washing machine after you throw a brick into it
What do you call the highest emission compliance for the car in the USA?
I mean it was probably autumn when you shot that photo
Yes, late October
Like if in Europe, the highest is Euro 6, what's it called in the USA?
A moderate annoyance
Why?
More emission regulation=less power
Euro 6 is only for big trucks
That's what you're annoyed about?
as in scania
On my camaro earlier, the engine loses as much as 80 horsepower from the emission regulation system on it
If you are annoyed by that, then I understand because that is indeed annoying.
the regulation system only applies to newly manufactured cars
unless they change what kind of fuel should be used
For cars like Sedans and SUVs, do they need 4 or 5?
And I think one European friend is annoyed about the planned diesel ban in EU because according to him, diesel engines can still be improved.
oh consumer cars are also opting for euro 6
eh it's only popular in france
My goal is to buy at least a BMW for status symbol but preferably a Lambo
Due to the expensive maintenance of BMW, I once made a joke about it.
BMW - Break My Wallet. 🤣
every few years the emission regulation is updated, so in the 80's/90's you had euro 1 and these days euro 6
Dream car vs pipe-dream car
nowadays euro 6 is the norm for newly produced cars
The One-77 would suck In european urban roads
My country is still stuck with Euro 4. They only made Euro 4 standard like 2017-2018 and that only applies for newly produced cars.
eh they're not that expensive to maintain. An M-badge sure, but a regular 120i is pretty ok
That's why many trucks, public utility vehicles and even buses emit black smokes so often.
They are expensive here. Even a simple oil change is costly.
You'll be doing a lot of those on an M car
black smoke comes from faulty (or really powerful) diesel engines
yeah I guess import and national regulation's a bit harsh there
Those are Euro 0 cars.
Does coal-rolling happen over there?
Please remove the word "bit".
Like, is that a thing people do?
😂
Or is coal-rolling an american thing
never seen it myself here
people have been pretty accepting of fuel-economy regulation (aside from france)
but some people were pretty angry about the fact that we have the most expensive petrol, so they decided to fill their tanks just across the border
especially truck drivers
There are quite many trucks here which are like 20-50 years old. "popular" public transports here are WW2 era, like the Willys in GTA Online.
And those are diesel powered.
I live in a heavily suburban area, so there's no coal-plant-tier-pollutant coal-roller trucks to coal roll people with in the first place
I mean we have ''milieu zones'' which bans certain cars from entering if they're too polluting
I rarely see pick-up trucks
A Ford Mustang with Ecoboost engine here costs $58,387.90 because of import taxes.
Damn
They're less then half that over here
That's why if you have a Mustang here, you're rich while many Americans just laugh at Ford Mustangs.
The Mustangs they wouldn't laugh at are Shelby Mustangs.

bare minimum price is 98k euro
Mustang Ecoboost?
Fucking hell
But how is it expensive there?
so 120k dollars
I could buy a fully kitted out dodge demon and still have money left over
To be honest, expensive taxation on cars without excellent and safe public transportation only encourages car smuggling.
Gas mileage would quickly and efficiently turn said leftovers to nothing
And if I see a car smuggling, I will not report them.
It's a tad bit harder to hide an illegal car then say an illegal immigrant or guns or drugs or what not
Since, you know, they're the size of cars
bpm. We already have two extra taxes on cars and ''luxury'' items which adds an extra 28% on its original ''american'' value. Then there's import tax and the devil himself bpm, which is another tax based on weight, catalogue price and fuel consumption which adds another 60K
With notoriously corrupt gov't and coastguard and navy only having handful of ships, it's easier than in US and EU.
What's bpm?
I'm talking about when the car is in use
we don't really have car smuggling here, aside from criminals who might want to stay under the radar
We have the historical vehicle act-thing
I remember our regulators being explicitly stupid about cars. Vintage Ferraris - illegal because their reason is those are unsafe.
WW2 era public transports which have no safety features and emit black smokes - legal.
people usually buy mid range or economy cars in local dealers even though they're roughly 25/35% more expensive than elsewhere in europe, but peformance and high-end cars are bought in Germany as you'd otherwise spent 100K extra on a Urus for instance
It's unsafe for passengers because they tend to inhale the smokes because they have no windows and no air condition.
Are you in EU?
Dumb government officials regulating things they don't understand
America is familiar with this kind of thing
Yes, the Netherlands
Y'all wanna see a really crusty van?
Sure
Car emission and technical regulators should be at least mechanical engineers or car design engineers... Most government officials who regulate cars' emissions and technical standards don't even have experience about cars besides driving.
How many pictures can i send before i get muted for anti spam?
Government officials who attempt to regulate firearms should have an understanding of 1. What they are intended to be
2. How they function
3. The concept of a black market
But guns aren't cars
So we're going to talk about cars instead of guns
They didn't consult motorcycle manufacturers and engineers if this is safe or not.
eh they usually plan legislation with whatever experts in the field or even consult a council and additionally there's communication (lobbying) with interest groups and third-party committees
In fact, veteran riders said that motorcycle barriers are actually unsafe and will cause accidents.
so it's usually not just one guy who wants stuff
but politicians can completely disregard their experts and push through
So they may not get covid but they will surely get injured or die due to accidents caused by it.
Motorcycles are already dangerous enough
I think putting that barrier on motorcycles are dangerous because it may cause more tendency for the motorcycle to lose balance.
the metal piping can easily become a dangerous object once you fall or crash
it could puncture you for instance
and you should be wearing helmets with a visor anyway
What is it mounted to
I'm not sure
That's not a good thing if they do.
I really do hope it isn't the swingarm
I don't ride motorcycles much so I don't know what is it mounted to. Will it really cause more tendency for a motorcycle to lose balance though? They say they will and I don't really ride much.
It's shifting the weight distribution of an already-unbalanced bike
So it means it will put the rider and bike more dangerous of tipping.
Seeing as the drivetrain and powertrain are situated towards the back of the bike
And how the gov't regulators tested it? I heard that they just put 2 chairs aligned and put a barrier in the middle of it instead of using an actual motorcycle lol.
@lunar blaze
Danm I need one of those
Good luck finding this trim
I would have preferred a T-Top
But seeing as the trim we have is a rare as a porsche 918, I'm happy with what we have regardless
Ok
Excuse me, 20th anniversary
Danm
In case you wanted proof
The father bought this car for 9.7
People have offered 15 in the comments of a fucking facebook post he made
The father bought this car for 9,700$
People have offered 15K for it in a facebook post he made about the car in an F-body/Third gen facebook group
Engine bay
This was the first time we opened the hood since my dad bought the car
That’s nice
Fuckin immaculate
godly
Me and my auto shop buddies (high school class where I go to another school to learn a course not offered at my home school) joked that the car was the previous owner's wife
lol
There was some truth to that tho
The passenger seats were clearly barely ever used
He kept it in an air conditioned garage in the winter (the car has never touched snow), the only part that was replaced was the passenger door panel, which was damaged by dry wall from the roof
Hold up
Hmmm interesting
I want you to guess how many miles this thing has clocked in
129,000 miles
Really
Mhm
The body isn't completely scuffless obviously, the prev owner very clearly dailyed it
There is some tiny scuffs here and there along the body, a decent-sized but still mostly-unnoticable scuff on the (fiberglass) front splitter thing
But for 129,000 miles I'd say that's pretty good
Alr I'm done gloating now
2022 McLaren Artura
Engine: 3.0L V6 Twin Turbo
Weight: 1,498 kg / 3,302 lbs
Power: 500 kW / 671 hp / 680 PS
0-100 kph: 3.0 seconds
Torque: 720 Nm / 531 lb-ft
Top Speed: 330 kph / 205 mph
They're losing cylinders by the decade
Which is a good thing imo
Fuck sounds, gimme a 1000hp engine that can do 30mpg on the highway

With turbos that'll only last a hundred miles each
the smaller the worse, when you see, they will be pushing 800 from a I4 as reliable as an old 7 series
800 out of an I4? That block better be made of fuckin tungsten
The ways things are going in Europe, it's not too far-fetched
man looking at that thing, i'd rather just have the 570s
did mclaren forget how to design new cars after the 720s
suddenly everything looks the same

Social Chann...
Yeah, this design language looked great on the Speedtail but now ? Idk, they look like a wannabe Speedtail
But it's interesting that the flagship always set the design language, I'm not into car design, so, I may be saying something obvious
I mean i've seen civic's pull 200 per cylinder lol
Mclaren's 570 evo Artura only only has a 3 liter so in some countries it will be taxed less because it isn't a big honkin engine
I don't mind the design but I definitely prefer the 570 and the 600lt, those cars had a much sportier style to them but this new one looks more tame and not all that much different.
I like this photo specifically because it hides that absolutely hideous door handle.
it looks slapped on like some 3d sticker I would rip it off
I would live in a trailer right outside different tracks and never stop driving this.
omg it's just beautiful, and perfectly functional at the same time, I couldn't have asked for a better Mclaren f1 offspring.
I would kill to spend a day with Gordon Murray and see what goes on that drawing board
all the way to the factory
yessir
are such turned wheels safe?
Looks perfectly normal to me.
Also nice charger
What's wrong with it? 🧐
They're really goddamn thin for one
But aside from a tad bit of camber it looks normal
I do not see an issue
it looks kinda odd to me..
That people turn their cars wheels?
there is some small camber
no
Uninspired
That's a 350z I thought
yeah the 370z is the same exact car but they changed the lights a bit an charged an additional 10K
Fair enough
that one is the 350z
Yea I never understood the name change since they are the same car
Huracán, Huracán evo, Nissan 350, Nissan 370
The car was a small update not a revolution
I can’t wait until they release a new one the 370 is outdated af and they have the audacity to charge like $40,000 for it new.
The new ones are 2012 ones with no miles and a bodykit update
It sucks nissan has been struggling so much I hope they shift it around
Yeah, how many miles did those civic last again ?
I never sent van pictures
Crusty front
Crusty sides
Dirty interior i forget to clean completely again
i don't smoke, those aren't my cigs
And more surface rust pics
crusty van pics
public health hazard on four wheels

I’ll take it for $150 xD
It would take at least a grand to cosmetically unfuck that poor thing
But yea parting it is another option
Actually
no use in parting anything except body out
*out
cause mechanically its fine
Makes it all the more valuable
Just need some new doors, also 150 is almost half of what we paid for it
New doors/panels
and bumpers
I mean 300 isn’t bad for that it definitely will cost more than that if you want it to look as good, well, as a minivan can
They sold it to you with all that crap in it?
They must’ve really wanted it gone huh
My cars 😎
Actually, this van has been driving for 4 years
we have used this basically all over the place
from maine to flordia to Tennessee
Oh I thought you just bought it
I passed the driving exam, baby
Pog
Yo chat?
What
First off, they only sold the engine in cars
Do you know the price or not?
Bruh it's an engine
Cause I can’t get it in my location
They sell for all manner of prices
They also stopped producing them 15 years ago
I know it’s a inline 6 cylinder engine
It came in 2 variants
I know my shit man but not every car can support the power from this beast
They don't make a ton of power stock lol
I have 3 2jz in my workshop

But a small turbo can work don’t they?
It made under 300 horses
And i need to sale em
Sell em to car youtubers
I feel like you'd know more about an engine you had 3 of that are just sitting around
I need to know the price first bro
Bro I’m crazy
Look at this cute car
Its a pony
Lol you need to learn more my man you here talking about cars and you said mustang damn😂😂😂
You said pony smartass
I dunno the price price but
It’s a Hyundai 1975 i think I’m not sure
Pony is a common nickname for a ford mustang
Sorry can I just
Lol you need to learn more my man you here talking about cars and you said hyuandai 1975 damn😂😂😂
Also if you want a cheap 2j, buy a clapped lexus
Never heard of it
Never in my 24yrs old crazy life
how

Idk you tell me
That's straight-up impressive
The term pony car is thrown around usually when talking about stangs or other similar cars
and you never heard of the term
It's a distinct class of car
Mustang, Camaro and Challenger are the big 3 pony cars
I’m sure i haven’t heard it before in fact i saw a lot of restorations of mustangs
now since most of there competition is dead
Like fastback and shit like that
Plymouth
Amc would kinda be included?
I only love the 70 charger in American muscle nothing else
How about Acura NSX?
Why that car in particular
The old dart would be a for sure pony car
That was too big
Chrysler always did it the biggest
Idk man I literally don’t know but when i saw that car i had this gut feeling that imma own this shit and the other thing i saw it in fast in furious when i was a kid
Yea but for a chysler the dart was what you would call small for them
That charger and skyline r34 not z tuned
I had a feeling F&F was a reason
Dodge, the people who made a brick do the fastest 0-100 in 1978-79
I'd take a 70 roadrunner over a 70 charger any day of the week
I mean a kid from early 2000s sees a car doing wheelies wdym he will do?
Plymouth is the correct spelling right
Plymouth, yes
With a big block?
hmmm Sonoma door handle off, time to replace
And i would love to own a ford model A just to hotrod it
And i would do the most fucking crazy thing with that model a
I’ll put a stupid rb26 in it

The chassis would fall apart
Yes
I wanna buy a 1990s Toyota Celica. You guys already know why.
Where were you when they put a rb26 in mustang in tokyo drift
I don't like F&F
A 60s mustang is a tad bit different to a fucking 30s car
The ford model a only had 40 horsepower
50s cars make great rat rods
It it woefully unequipped to handle the powrr and torque of an RB26
That was also a movie
They made the swap look like it was done in an hour
Dude check out the SEMA show and the most stupidest craziest mind blowing custom model A
Look at this rear engine beauty
It would have taken days
But the swap was real
No shit
The mustang only had a big block engine for 2 years
What year was the mustang from Tokyo drift?
I said i only know about charger and import
But i a wild guess it was around 50/60b
?
Google says 68
But the front had the shape of fast back
The only big-block engine put in a Mustang was the boss 429, which was only in 1969 and 1970
Old era of cars was handsome like legit handsome
*sexy
I would a fucking r34 over a stupid bugati chiron
Literally every other V8 put in a Mustang were small blocks
Take
Hold on
I remember i was 11 years old when i got to rev a nismo tuned r34 in bayside blue i was literally crying man that sound that turbo flutter was music to my ears like really cute music
Which would do better in a drag, a 1994 nissan gtr or a new dodge demon?
Demon
Demon literally beats any production car on the market
yep
And that hyundai pony you said that looks like piece of shit is a off-road bitch which has aftermarket parts from IRONMAN 4X4 Australia and a Diesel engine
And it's the best sounding car I've ever heard in my life
New dodge demon
Its scary hearing a dodge hellcat screaming down the highway next to you
but it sounds amazing
But bro that thing has I believe 800hrspowr
If you think a hellcat is scary
Demon is on a whole nother level
Observe
It’s stupid scary
i have been next to a demon
i was more scared of accidentally scratching it
lmao
Fair given it's asking price
Dude I literally don’t like the whine it looks to me like the car is fucking crying
The whine is the best psrt about the car
Peeeeeew peeeeeew peeeeeew
It gives it that demonic wail
