finally a good looking electric
Thank you Pagani for being... Well, Pagani 🙏
https://www.carscoops.com/2022/07/pagani-ditches-ev-plans-in-favor-of-more-v12-greatness/
Sticking to their guns until their last breath
I also have a fabia... tho it makes 75hpđź’€
tu160 exhaust fumes are just agent orange, right?
I like cars
Top speed?
I reached 130 kmph before everything started falling apart i suppose i could barely reach 100 mph
Noice
Did you watch the donuts?
Yee very cool
Noice
is the bmw xi worth it for 70k?
No
Subjectivity aside its one of bmws first attempts at an electric car
I dont want to be an early adopter of this gen evs where everyone outdoes everyone every 5 secs
Also long term reliability is something we have to see when it comes to german evs
so which is the best electric car for under 60k that provide comfortability and range?
I hate to say it but probably a tesla
The quality conttol in teslas are a joke, and the lack of physical controls is a huge problem but they have range and charging infrastructure
For some reason, I couldn't find an MT car with paddle shifters...
Only real alternative is hyundai ioniq and kia ev6
All cars I find which have paddle shifters are automatic, whether AT, CVT or DCT
Yea
Hmm thanks
Looking for a car
If its 'a' car id say dont buy electric
sad Tesla noises
I like Mustang but not the Mustang Mach-E
Mach e is a nice car just the name is the problem
A good marketing trick because even in a shanty town in kerala people talked about the electric crossover mustang
Like the Evo e-SUV
I never heard of this
Mustang should be Mustang, like how it is now, not an electric SUV
It's still a concept though
Oh
It's called e-Evolution
And now, Mitsubishi has a new Eclipse called Eclipse Cross, a plug-in hybrid SUV
I don't like how they build an SUV and name it after a famous sports car which is most likely for marketing purposes
Yea
I hope Toyota doesn't do the same with Supra...
When ICEs get totally phased out, car enthusiasm will not die, it will just never be the same again
You've gotta be kiddin me
It does look fantastic
Eh; who am I kidding, this is listed on the official Ferrari homestore
So ofc it'll be priced ludicrously
Is the Toyota AE86 really good or is it overrated?
The AE86 faired okay in motorsport; JGTCC in particular
Some people really love it but one article claims that it's hyped because of Initial D and without that anime, that car won't be very popular
But the car itself is by no means anything special
People just value the simplicity of the drivetrain-layout
I wouldn't say that in itself is worth spending over $40,000 for
I see one being sold in a used car shop website now and it's being sold at $41,352.48.
Pretty ridiculous pricing
That article even compared it to the DMC Delorean which is highly popular only because of BTTF but in reality, it's no different from an average daily car
With that pricing, I'm better off buying a 2022 Toyota 86 or a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
Fr
Maybe that's reasonable for me if you want to collect cars
But for performance alone, not worth the price but for collection, maybe it's reasonably priced. Maybe
Perhaps
But most people who don't understand car culture very well wouldn't look at an AE86 and automatically think it is worth as much as it is
Could better spend $40,000 on a well-used Ferrari 348 and almost everyone would know what it is
If Initial D was never created, I'm sure that many people won't even know the AE86 and its price would be cheaper than it is now
True that
And I believe rarity alone won't automatically make a vehicle expensive
I'm sure there are rare vehicles which most people don't care about
Notoriety seems to be the deal of the trade nowadays
Which is a bit stupid but also somewhat of a blessing at the same time
While cars like the BNR34 GT-R and AE86 rocket in value, the more underappreciated (but still brilliant) sports cars are put out of the limelight
Therefore, some of them remain cheap
How about the 1990s NSX?
You get a bit more bang for your buck with that
But I'd say it still isn't worth more than the $60,000-$70,000 range
Some, if not most; are selling for over $100,000 now
Oh wow
Which is a tad bit ludicrous for a 90s supercar
I fell in love with the NSX because of this.
https://gran-turismo.fandom.com/wiki/Honda_NSX-R_LM_GT2_'95
The Honda NSX-R LM GT2 '95 (Acura NSX-R LM GT2 '95 in the NTSC version of the game) is a race car produced by Honda. It is based on the Le Mans racer which competed in, and won, the GT2 class of the 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours. The #84 car, driven by the all-Japanese team of Keiichi Tsuchiya, Akira Iida and Kunimitsu Takahashi, only appears in the PAL...
Ah yeah
GT gives me fond memories of many cars
I came to love the Mitsubishi FTO because of GT2
It was so OP
And in real life, the NSX-R LM GT2 won 1995 24h of Le Mans in LMGT2 category but sadly, its sister version, the NSX-R GT1 Turbo, didn't finish the race.
The NSX did very well in JGTCC as well
Pretty much decimated the Supra
Pretty well-matched to the likes of the BNR33-R34 LMGT4s as well
Oh wow
By 2005 though, the platform was pretty much obsolete
I love the Supra and Skyline but JDM fanboys hype those cars way too much
The LM-Class Arta NSX struggled to maintain 7th at Suzuka with Manabu Orido at the wheel, a fantastic racing driver
Definitely
Would like to see them get disappointed or shocked if they see that the JDM cars they're worshipping perform a lot less than they believe
Pretty unspoken, but cars like the Evo IV and Evo VI were much faster than their generations of GT-R around a track
The latter of which didn't even have AYC
Or ABS
People seem to forget that the R32-R33-R34 are very heavy cars
The big problem is tuning those cars to maximum will cost more than the car itself
Exactly
No denying that they're good cars
But by God, their stock performance is absolutely atrocious for the amount you're paying
Especially nowadays
With the R34 reaching prices of almost $400,000 occasionally
Better off buying the R35 which is a lot cheaper if you want performance
Without Fast and Furious, the GTR R34 would probably be cheaper than it is now
Most likely
True, it also has a lot of aftermarket support
You'll still be spending quite a lot of money, but nowhere near the realms of $70,000-$80,000 to break 1000BHP
Imagine tuning the R34 to maximum only for it to get outclassed by a stock Mercedes-AMG GT in every way
Many JDM fanboys think that only JDM cars can be tuned
One of my friends even showed a JDM fanboy American and European cars being tuned and he was really shocked
Although I want to buy at least a Porsche, I'll be happy with a new Civic Type R or a Toyota Supra GR
Toyota Supra mk4 and Skyline R32, R33 and R34 are great but their time at the spotlight is over.
Mhm
Ford raptor?
Ye with gt500 engine
Oh those are nice
I haven't checked the base price for one
If you know you could let me know
Raptor r starts at about 110 tho way beyond our league
110 some how I will find that in my pocket 👌
But real life cost might be similar to trx tho because i expect the dealer markups wont be that high
Yea I have once owned a ford ranger before
We had suv version of the ranger the Everest
It isn't but it looks like one
Looks similar
Yea the 2016 version of that
I don't know if buying a new car is worth it like all cars that are suitable for me are over 80k which I cannot afford but I have had a bad experience with buying used cars
If it wasn't sold in the US and it isn't 25 years old, then it's unjustly illegal
Stupid fucking import laws

True, we don't need a separate brand of one parent company for one certain cars. Acura is to Honda and Infiniti is to Nissan (Skyline Coupe/Infiniti G35).
Does the NSX imported to India
Not by manufacturer
G35 was based on the 350z, for the record
I guess you are kind right to include the "skyline coupe" bit there though though
I don't see much 350z on that car
They probably share components because, well, nissan
But it's the skyline coupe in Japan
It looks more like a two door Altima/Maxima
because thats practically what it is, you can get both cars with the same 3.5L engine
only major difference is the Altimas were FWD while the G35s were RWD
Very early 2000s?
It's mostly under-the-skin stuff iirc
All Japanese cars did more or less
Back then those large headlamps were designed to be wind deflector s for more efficiency
Seems alright
Not sure about reliability
Eagle was still a bi-product of Chrysler; after all
saw this hawkeye impreza while walking home
this variant is rare
i see blobeyes every time but not this
Oo
That's a nice car
Where can I buy it?
Very nice custom dodge challenger
Did you really see this irl? Wow
hmm the amish challenger was a media sensation a while ago
That's WhistlinDiesel's hellcat, a youtuber
I see
Doubt it
Exposed
To be fair he never said it was his
Or anything at all
nooooooooo
that poor challenger

New Type R looks pretty good ngl
Oh did it release
Much more cleaner than the fk8 but the new civic looks better as a sedan than a hatch
Wait they already showed it and i didn't know?
Damn, it looks good tho

HERE IN MY GARAGE…
Curio...
Thoughts?

It looks like a weird mix between a Dodge Charger and a BMW.
I don't know why, but... could we just ditch the sedan for a 2-door version? Please?
When Ford Raptor is not enough...

The sedan is fine but I don’t think a new type r 2 door would look that good besides they’d have to bring back the coupe entirely for the other trims
2 door hatchback > 4 door hatchback for sure
But i know they wont make it because then we'd have already had a 2 door integra so
Gonna go in to Toyota dealer next week and put a pre order for a new GR86 cause it won’t arrive till spring 2023
Thoughts on the C8?
Great car for the money
Nice car
It's a shame they didn't put a manual but then again manuals don't sell that much even if everyone on the internet wants one
Some people don't like the mid engine, I could see why, but I personally think it was the right move on Chevy's part to finally leap into it.
Anyone calling the c8 a cheap Ferrari or a Ferrari copy needs glasses
It has some heritage already, the first time they tried that was the late 60s or something
