since you got the game on epic you will also have to get the enchanced version from epic, you can migrate your profile if it's at least 30 days old and has no illegitimate progress

Infinite "Initializing" when joining Casino/Cayo Perico Heist via Quick Job - Tried all common fixes
I'm experiencing a persistent and frustrating issue in GTA Online (Enhanced) when trying to join Casino or Cayo Perico Heist finales/preps through the Quick Job function on the phone.
The Problem:
I select Quick Job > Heists.
The matchmaking finds a session (usually Casino or Cayo).
The loading screen starts with "Initializing" in the bottom-right corner.
It hangs on "Initializing" for 3-5 minutes, then drops me into a random public/open session without ever joining the heist.
It's an infinite initialization loop. I never see the heist board, cutscene, or other players.
What I have already tried (the common solutions):
My internet is stable (low ping, no packet loss, wired connection).
Changed DNS to Google (8.8.8.8), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), and my ISP's default. Flushed DNS cache each time.
Port forwarding for GTA Online ports is configured.
Tried with Windows Firewall completely disabled and antivirus off.
Game Files & Cache:
Deleted pc_settings.bin / profile_settings.bin from Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles.
Edited settings.xml to add <CacheSize value="250" />.
Game Workarounds:

Every time I go to the marker it says “mission disrupted, please return later,” even though I’m not in an event or another mission. I’ve tried using both Michael and Trevor, but the game still won’t let me progress, and I’m not sure what’s blocking the mission from starting.

So I may have an important update. The monitor that I had the Xbox plugged into was an Acer with AMD free sync premium.
I just plugged it into my tv and the slow motion audio is gone.
So it has to do with my monitor somehow.
But the thing that confuses me, is she plays red dead with the Xbox connected to the monitor and it doesn’t have any audio issues like this.

Hi all, I have a friend who keeps getting kicked by Battleye (Especially when joining a new private lobby). We have tried the following:
Reinstalling the game
Verifying game files
Reinstalling Battleye
Port forwarding
Flushing DNS
Setting a static DNS
Updating Drivers
Closing all background apps
Launching through rockstar launcher
Regedit
Running as admin
Updating BIOS
Removing any old files (Never modded, but did this anyway)

Wifi connection is stable and we are using ethernet. Battleye is added aas an exception to the windows firewall

Does anyone have any further suggestions on how to fix this? It's really infuriating

if its not disabled then you're dealing with a more complex issue. maybe if you tried to install mods you dumped some files into the gta's root directory and battleye flags you.

to check, click the steam logo - settings - storage - select the drive enhanced was installed on - click 3 dots - browse folder - file explorer will open, go to the follder called "common". it should list all the games you have installed

if its not there, you mustve deleted the folder, moved it somewhere, or uninstalled it via steam.

another nice way to tell, is to check the disk space, its hard to miss a difference of like 80 gigs on a disk, might help you telling whether the game is there or not.

if you dont have a 5tb HHD you can also just search for a GTA5_Enhanced.exe file system wide through explorer. this will point you to where your root folder is located in case it was moved somewhere somehow.

are you talking about steam's storage tab in settings? if so, then obviously it doesnt show that, steam thinks the game is not installed at all. if you're talking about a system wide search, then the game must be gone.

Try uninstalling the game then reset the console, maybe clear cache as well. Then perform a clean install of the game. It seems like there was an issue with the install of the game files. If that doesnt work it could be a hardware or software issue but that seems unlikely

I'm in a car meet crew where they use closed friend sessions to host car meets. 10 days ago, during a meet, everyone got disconnected from the session (everyone was put in a session by themselves), the session's host's wifi stopped working entirely for a min and then his console couldn't connect to the internet without restarting it. 2 other people made new sessions but had the exact same problem
For the last 10 days this has been happening consistently with that specific crew where the host's wifi goes out mid meet and anyone that tries to host a new session ends up having the same problem. I'm in a few other car meet crews, but none seemed to have any issue regarding connection
Today however, during a meet, everyone had that issue. Everyone's internet cut out and everyone is struggling to play the game

you can lower your utilization by going back to the processes tab, sorting by ram usage by clicking memory at the top, and closing ones that are using too much. It doesn't look bad enough to cause anything major though. What kind of lag isues do you get? Frame drops, network lag, something else?

The second and last issues are normal with GTAO. It is very sensitive to network latency, and playing on wifi doesn't help

As for switching to chrome, make sure you're not running the game in fullscreen. If you are, consider moving to borderless

i have a 10 core 18 ish thread cpu but utilization is bellow 30% and it frame dips a lot when i use mods (temps are okay and no gpu bottleneck) HOW DO I FIX THISSSSS

im on gta 5 legacy, is it why? is enhanced version more optimzied for multithreads

Utilisation over all cores isn't gonna show the cores being used the most
Most things are gonna run on only a couple cores

i mean on other games i see the utilization go atleast above 50% tho in this case im usually on 25 or 27%

That's what mine is on now, different programs will utilise cores differently
