There are other options like a garment factory/auto shop/salvage yard and the hangar that either pay less or take longer. For passive, nightclub (after you’ve purchased the bunker and a CEO special crate warehouse and every MC business aside from weed and documents that are the worst for the nightclub, so they are optional), acid lab bunker, and any MC businesses that are on bonus weeks. Also the safes

There’s never really been a situation where I’ve had to, no. Maybe on some setups like Pac Standard Convoy for the Savages and Oscar Guzman Iron Mule setup but even for Oscar Guzman the Railgun has enough range

It has some use for sure but I mean it’s not like heavily needed or anything or really makes a massive impact in overall PvE gameplay from my experience

There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.
