Of note, Ferrari has been consistently throughout the year announcing that Bobbie has been doing private tests at Fiorano and Mugello, and he has been actively present in race weekends in Ferrari outfit.

He also seems to have dodged the "situation" by racing under Israeli license, as he was born in Tel Aviv.

De Vries... is a bit of victim of the bandwagon of rookies of 2018-2019

Those 4 rookies literally hyped up the driver market and established themselves as "the next generation"

Every established team has snatched them and made them their future No.1 Driver

So basically the driver market has been basically locked out for people immediately following those big 4

Either you get to stay in lower ranks, or wait in the sidelines until say a team like Alpine wants a Piastri

Because Verstappen's entry to the sport meant that teams want to build longterm around hotshots

So now good luck finding a seat anywhere when the hotshots have a 50 year contract

De Vries suffered from being a decent rookie in an era of outstanding rookies.

Norris overtook him and grabbed the McLaren seat, Verstappen got all the thunder as the Dutch hotshot, Russell, Leclerc and ironically enough Albon all stepped over him in feeder series.

His F2 championship win looks like picking up the scraps after all the talented drivers were done kicking him in the gut, not helped by Latifi being 2nd that year.
