Just to add another datapoint, our server also has Server XP totally wiped out so the current data is only about 2d old. our #1 /top text is 402xp right now whereas before the crash our #1 in top text had over 800,000 XP (Data from jan 2024)

Look, I fully understand the pressure you are under as staff and devs, but if you ask for patience and for people not to spam the chat with complaints, and then fail to notify them properly on updates and what to do, you are not exactly rewarding the behavior you ask for. Sure, for voice level it is about 10 xp for every 2-5 minutes on a voice channel. It means you receive a random amount of XP around 10 at a random interval between 2 and 5 minutes

For the text level, it is very similar, except that the amount of XP is random between 10 and 40

We have over 10 million servers. Due to the nature of the issue (damaged database file), in order to restore levels for a specific server, we need to design a special script individually for that server. Doing this is demanding and time-consuming. If we were to do this for every server that uses our bot, we would be restoring these levels for the rest of our lives, and even then, not every server would recover its levels.

We've already done everything we can. To some extent, we solved the problem for everyone by implementing backup, but the problem was much more serious, so not all servers fully recovered their levels. It's not as simple as you might think. The bot has over 10 million servers, and even if there were only 100 users on each server, that would mean we would need to have 1,000,000,000 people in our database. The reality is that a large proportion of the servers on which ProBot is installed are much larger, and we serve a much larger number of users than I gave in the example. These are extremely large amounts of data, and because of this and the damaged database file, we are physically unable to restore the levels for each individual server. You must understand and respect this. We are helping as much as we can.

This entire incident is a mess, both their technical side and their communication.
#status tells us that they are still working on getting the data back, the pinned messages tell us that we have to be patient, and individual messages in here tell us we have to get a paid subscription to get our data back.
I wouldn’t be shocked if this was a stunt to get more paid subscribers at this point.
