So I might not understand how the hierarchy works, but here's an example.

Jailed
Admin
Mod
Helper
VIP

Jailed role removes access to all channels (This is how it was set up)

The role VIP just gives an extra channel for the VIP users.

When the Jailed role is given to a VIP, the user loses all access but they still have access to the VIP role.

Same for Helper role, it's a simple staff role with timeout & manage messages permissions but they have access to the logs channel and the staff chat when they are given this Jailed Role.

My question is, if Jailed is on the top how come it doesn't take over.

I asked for a bot that could create a custom command and what I said was when this command is called, it first takes away all the current roles and assigns the jailed role. When unjail, it gives all the previous roles and remove the jailed role. But they say this could ratelimit it and "Why the need of removing all roles?" -- This is what I'm struggling with

I added probot as a member of a bot role. the bot role has the send messages and embed messages permission along with a host of other permissions

should i change anything?
