I haven't said anything in here because I saw the status right away and knew that's what my problem was. But I've been seeing some of the chatter.

I understand there's frustration with the fact that the bot is down for many many servers. Frustration from users and the support team and the development team.

But a deeper answer as to the source of the problem from the developers, along with the support team structuring things to force folks to see and acknowledge a message that the bot is down at the moment with no ETA would be MUCH more beneficial than to say "bot's down" followed by TALKING DOWN at the users when they have follow up questions.

Again, I understand that it's very frustrating for the support folks who have no insight into when this will be resolved and are tired of repeating the message, but a gate between the users and people that actually need support saying "check if the bot is online before you can talk" would go WAY WAY better for everyone and your sanity.

This is not a way to run a bot.

This is not a way to run a community.

I will be removing this bot from my server and finding another one.

I've had issues using/re-adding probot to a particular server that I'm admin on.
We noticed at a point the bot is not online. After awhile we noticed our log channel hasn't had any bot messages since 31st of March.
Since we noticed I'e tried accessing probot.io dashboard for that particualr server (it works on my other servers) but to no avail - the error message is "This server requires setup."
I've tried removing the integration and re-adding it but the bot is still offline.

Yeah, I just reactivated my server and I see it's only half-working. I had everything set up with ProBot to reduce the number of bots, and now it's really messing things up for me.

I also had the idea of giving it some time and then dropping, but I at least wanted to get some info to know a date or some estimate of when it might be working again.

I see that it says in #status that the bot was offline, but that was nearly 10 days ago. My bot-chat logs haven't seen activity since Apr 2. Is it still offline after all this time? This is an incredibly long time for such a huge platform.

I'd rather have this resolved soon, but if no one is replying in support then I will have to leave probot.io, which makes me sad since it was the better alternative to mee6. :\

I have ProBot on my Server since 2021 and I changed the settings into “mute for Spamming- 5 messages in 5 seconds” something like this. I tried to remove this but it didn’t work. The bot still gives the “muted” role automatically. I kicked Probot out of my server and let it join again, but the Setting is still there, so idk what to do now ..

I’m having an issue with ProBot in my own Discord server (DeviL). ProBot appears offline to everyone in the server, even though it works perfectly fine and appears online in other servers.

The bot is in the server, but no commands or features work, and it shows as offline for all members.

I’ve tried:

Re-adding the bot

Checking bot permissions and roles

Refreshing Discord

Clearing cache and trying other devices

But the issue still persists.

Is there a setting or known issue that could cause this? Any help would be appreciated.

It's not that it is not working. That thing doesn't show the whole thing. Whatever you write will show. That's just a preview. You can understand that if u have a bit of experience.
That's what shows also on mine but if u actually don't write 5000 words and also have someone or yourself enter the server anew, they will see the "whole thing".

Try reloading the page or check if you have the correct permissions for example, the administrator permission gives you access to every single bot Your friend has and access to the dashboard
