so the server is still in dev status so i used the command setlevel to one of my admins, I took away the admin role to my admin before doing it so he was treated as a regular member

to test the level system

I apologize, I should have just thought to include those details.
Specs: only accessed on desktop, Linux Mint 21.1, on current kernal; firefox, on current version; not attempted in incognito or after disabling extensions (i actually just literally remembered i should have because you'd probably ask); i just remembered there was another intermittent glitch between attempts but i just kept ignoring it because i was so focused on this one.

The first reported glitch started around 2:30 pm, & the attempt that worked wss at 3:30pm (im in EST)

That's actually just an attempt where i for some reason decided to hit ctrl-Z until i was back to the original wording to just try that again, actually realized the first sentence was too wordy & the one about self-censoring was in passive voice, fixed that, & thats what posted

So if it weren't a glitch the entire thing has zero logic to it, which is why I've been so persistent

Anyway, the second glitch i just remembered is something that it did first actually the day before this, which was also the one day i tried to log in on chrome to see if another glitch that was happening in firefox wouldn't happen. (It does, so report 3 in a min.)

When i go back to a probot tab thats already open after some time (not sure min but probably an hour or 2), it opens a popup immediately telling me probot needs to log in. I select to do so even though it should already be, and intermittently then (maybe after 3-4 times) what loads is it doing that again

So sometimes when it does it, you have to twice. But it has never done it 3x

And this glitch i have mentioned in the server, byt before i had noticed #chat-en isn't a support channel

That the whole time, every time, constantly, on both browsers, that im in probot's site editing things, it will just pop up a message that there has been an error, not allow me to save the edits, and pop that up again after just 5-6 seconds if i try to edit again

I have to copy what I have and refresh the page, then paste it back in the box, to continue

The website is extremely slow when making changes, it taking 5 minutes to make save and took 3 minutes to send an embed & takes a long time to load profile and server after loggin in.
Ive tried refreshing, clearing cache and cookies & a different browser however still having the same issue.

Also the send New message doesnt function as it used too. We used to be able to save an embed and if we wished edit it without saving and send a whole new message while saving our template/having to save changes. Now we are forced to save changes inorder to send a edited message.

To enable this thing, first you have to need enabled Community on your server, to enable this go to your server settings and click on the Enable Community, then click blue Get Started button and go through quick setup. Hello! I've been having issues loading older "Self-Assignable Roles" embeds from the Dashboard (been trying the past days) and I wanted to try and make some changes to some role giving embeds. There are only two that show up and give roles, the rest are blank.
They also don't load the embeds even if they are there, or take a long time to finally register.

And was wondering if there's anything I can do without having to re-post the embeds on the specific channel and then adding onto the assignable roles. 😭

Hey! I have a particular thing I want and Im not sure how to do it.
Im hosting a murder mystery game, and there are 6 different channels I want updated with 6 lots of different information at the start of each round.

I thought maybe of using the auto-response, as a trigger, but that would mean Id have to type in each channel 6 different triggers each round

may you try now? it has likely been resoled for a part of the userbase that were affected

you can use the autoresponder feature yes if you want to also use the randomized responses, else you can just use embed messages feature to post the messages to where you want without having to send and delete your messages in the channels, for the cost of being kinda slower if you're still new to it

uh quick question since it wasn't really answered in the other chat,, is it possible to have working commands inside the autoresponder response? like if i want the autoresponder to perform commands every time someone says a keyword

like if i also want commands inside of this message that works

no but I think you can just setup the auto responder to respond to that keyword, and set that keyword as the existing command you want the bot to execute as alias
however it will only execute the commands if the sent keywords are 100% match

i'm trying to implement an email verification type of gate where only users who enter an email with a certain postfix are allowed in the server with extra permissions

would there be better implementations than having me and the mods manually adding roles for new users?

by now we have yet to get on planning an advanced custom command feature, but it can be spooked at any moment in the future if it's really needed and wouldn't affect the performance of the bot much

You have set the required text level as well as the voice level, so users need to reach both levels to receive the reward
