Hey you receive two types of xp depending on what you want to gain.
1- If the level system is activated on that server, you will receive a text and voice xp every 1~2 minute while active in chat and the voice channel. This xp will be displayed in your server's /rank.
2- You also receive xp for your profile, but it is only for text and it is calculated based on your chat activity each minute, this one requires a probot to be invited to the server you are active in.

Hi, first you need to hide every channel for everyone except rules, then create a role, like member or something, and add it to the self-assignable roles on the rules channel

Here's my situation. I set up the server a year ago. I set it up with a verification. I also set it up with leveling. We've decided to streamline our leveling. We removed all but one level up role. I just don't remember how I set it up. It was something with an "embeded message". I'm really lost right now and am on the verge of building a new server to get things right.

This is what we want....

It's an NFL server specifically a Buffalo Bills server.

We want people to have to verify, have a generic role till they've been active to level 5 (about 2 hours of text) then receive the full perms role. We also use Flairs and would like to allow fans of other teams who are in the server to see thier team after thier user name. Furthermore we want new people who haven't recurved full perms to be identified with a generic bland grey color until they become full perms members. I'm just so lost right now. Almost seems like less effort to build a new server

For some reason, ProBot is saying the ban will end in a months despite the ban command not having included anything relating to when the ban should be revoked.

The ban command only includes user and the reason, nothing else

So set that generic role as a verification role in the rules channel, then new users will only have that role after verification and after reaching level 5, they will receive a full access role. the xp doesn't change etc, and roles haven't been getting updated in the #ranking channel that we've set.
